Not bad, hopefully lasts longer than your 2009 which had potential. Ask for people to make your graphics though, seriously. Odd starting position, considering WWE's been in a state ever since after Over the Limit. But could be good.

Monday Night Raw May 24, 2010 Toledo, OH
Superstars Match: Evan Bourne, Yoshi Tatsu, and Mark Henry d. Vladimir Kozlov, William Regal, and Zack Ryder (7:22)
Tonight's show begins with a video package highlighting Raw's matches at Over The Limit. It shows R Truth defeating Ted DiBiase, Edge and Randy Orton fighting to a double count out, and John Cena making Batista say "I Quit". It ends with Sheamus attacking Cena after his match.
As soon as the video package ends, we hear the theme of Bret Hart. He gets a great ovation from the crowd here in Toledo. Once he's in the ring, he says that later tonight, he will come back out here to address the United States Title situation. He says that he came out here right now to make a very important. He is the new General Manager for Monday Night Raw. The crowd seems to like this. After he says that, Batista makes his way to the ring, limping. Batista says that if Bret is the new General Manager, then he can give him a title shot against John Cena. Bret says that Batista won't get another title shot because he doesn't deserve one. Batista tells Bret that if he doesn't give him what he wants, he's going to beat him so bad that he will wish that he stayed and Canada. After he says this, John Cena makes his entrance to an amazing reaction from the live audience. Cena tells Batista to suck it up. He lost and there's nothing he can do about. Batista asks Cena if he's really turning down a challenge. He tells Cena that he's backing away from a fight. Batista says that would be a huge letdown to the fans. Cena says that Batista doesn't even care about the fans. He says that he doesn't, but Cena does so he can give them what they want. Cena looks at Bret and tells him to make the match for tonight. Batista says that he was talking about next week, not tonight. He's hurt. Bret tells Batista that if Cena really wants to defend the title against him, it's either tonight or never. Batista eventually says that he'll take the title shot tonight, but he wants to name a stipulation. If and when he wins, Cena cannot challenge for the title as long as he's walking around as champion. Cena says that's fine. Bret tells Batista that if he got to name a stipulation, it's only fair that Cena does. Cena likes this. He takes some time to think before coming up with an answer. He says that if Batista loses, then he must leave Raw. Batista says that's fine because he won't lose. Bret says that since Cena wants it, it's official. John Cena vs. Batista in a no-disqualification match for the WWE Title tonight. Batista and Cena stare down before the commercial break. Bret says that right now though, we're going to have some qualifying matches for the WWE's next pay per view, Fatal 4 Way. The winners of these qualifying matches will be in a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE title.
Commercial Break
Fatal 4 Way qualifying match Edge vs. R Truth
R Truth was given this opportunity by defeating Ted DiBiase at Over The Limit. Edge, who is coming off of a double count out match, wasted no time here. Truth put up the fight of his life here, and actually proved to be a threat against Edge. Towards the end of the match, Ted DiBiase came down to ringside. Truth tried not to let this distract him, but it seems to have because when he turned around, he was met with a spear. Edge got the three count.
Winner: Edge (8:13)
Edge celebrated his win as DiBiase made his way to the backstage area with a smile on his face. Truth soon got back to his feet and was furious. Nonetheless, The Rated R Superstar now has a chance to become a 10-time champion.
Bret Hart is now seen being shown to his new office. He looks around the room for a bit before hearing a knock on the door. Chris Jericho now walks in. He tells Bret that he wants to know if he has a qualifying match tonight. Bret says that he does, and it's next. Jericho asks who he's wrestling. John Morrison walks in to Bret's office and thanks him for the opportunity to qualify for the Fatal Four Way match. Jericho looks at Morrison with disgust. He says that he is above Morrison's level and should not have to face him. Morrison tells Jericho to get in the ring so he can show him how their levels compare. Morrison leaves as Jericho has a bitter look on his face.
A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. John Cena vs. Batista in a no-disqualification match for the WWE Title.
Commercial Break
Josh Mathews is now standing by with the unified tag team champions, The Hart Dynasty. Mathews asks them what do they plan to do next. Kidd says that there's not really anymore tag teams here on Raw for them to go up against, but they still hunger for competition. Smith says that they're going to be making a trip to SmackDown this week to find that competition.
Fatal 4 Way qualifying match Chris Jericho vs. John Morrison
Just like the previous qualifying match, the young gun put up an amazing fight against a veteran. Jericho seemed to be a little off his game after losing to the Hart Dynasty the night before. Morrison proved here that he can be on Jericho's level. Jericho had in The Walls and it looked as if Morrison was going to tap, but he was able to reach the ropes thanks to the energy given off by the WWE Universe. While Morrison was getting up, Jericho charged at him, but he was able to get a leg up, push Jericho away. This time, Morrison charged at him, but Jericho was able to hit the Codebreaker. He went for the cover and got the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho (9:13)
Jericho has now bounced back from his lost at Over The Limit and now has a chance to once again become champion. After Jericho left the ring, Morrison got back up to his feet and received a standing ovation from the audience for his performance.
Bret Hart is seen in his office when the guest host for tonight, Jon Lovitz walks in. He thanks Bret for allowing him to be here tonight, but he has a problem. He says that some crazy Italian guy has been following him all day for his autograph. Santino now walks in, telling Lovitz that he just wants a picture for his parents. They are huge fans of him. Bret says that he would love to stay and talk, but he has to go. Bret pick up the United States title and heads to the ring.
Commercial Break
After we return, Bret Hart makes his entrance for the second time tonight. He says that a lot of people have been asking him what he's going to do with the United States title. He says that he's not a wrestler anymore and he shouldn't be the champion. After he says this, The Miz makes his way to the ring. He tells Bret that he's glad he's come to his senses. He tells Bret to give him his title now. Bret says that this isn't his title anymore. It's nobody's title because he's officially vacating it. Miz has a look of anger on his face. Bret says next week, we will see the beginning of an 8 men tournament to crown a new United States champion. He say's that tournament will go on for the next few weeks, with the finals taking place at Fatal 4 Way. Bret says that Miz is lucky that he's putting him in the tournament. Miz asks who his opponent is. Bret says that it's Evan Bourne, and their match is next week. Miz says that he will run through Evan Bourne and this whole tournament to take back what is his. Bret tells Miz to leave the ring because another piece of business to attend to. Miz says that he's not leaving because this is his show. Bret calls for security to take Miz out of the ring. While security is taking him away, he still goes on about why Raw is his show. Bret eventually asks for Miz' microphone to be cut off. Even though nobody can here him, Miz still goes on. Bret says that now that Miz is gone, he wants Sheamus to come to the ring now. Sheamus makes his way to the ring. Bret asks him why he attacked John Cena at the end of Over The Limit. Sheamus stays silent. Bret says that him staying silent is fine, because he has a qualifying match next against someone who also lets his actions speak for him. "Voices" hits as Randy Orton comes to the ring now.
Fatal 4 Way qualifying match Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
A great first hour main event between these two. Sheamus has a ruthless attitude during this match, but so does Orton, who is coming off of a double count out last night. A little bit after the bell rings, we are treated to a commercial break. When we return, we see Sheamus in a headlock. In the end, Sheamus goes for a Pump Kick, but Orton moves out of the way and hits his inverted headlock backbreaker. Orton see Sheamus getting up and sets up the RKO. Edge now comes out and distracts Orton. He gets on the ring apron and tells Orton that he has no chance of winning. Orton turns around and is almost hit with a Pump Kick, but he once again moves out of the way and Sheamus hits Edge. Sheamus turns around and is dropped to the ground with an RKO. Orton gets the cover for the win.
Winner: Randy Orton (10:11)
Orton stares at Edge after the match. Edge makes his way back up the ramp, but Orton doesn't take his eyes off of him. The Fatal Four Way match is almost set. All that is left is to see who will be defending the title.
Bret Hart is shown in his office when Ted DiBiase walks in. Ted asks Bret why he insists on having a tournament when the answer to his problem is right in front of him. Bret asks Ted what does he mean. Ted says "name your price, and I will purchase the United States Title from you." Bret that that's not needed, as Ted is in the tournament as well and his match is next week. Ted asks who's he wrestling. Bret tells him that it's the man that he screwed out of being in the Fatal Four Way match, R Truth. Ted leaves Bret's office.
A graphic is once again shown for tonight's main event.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Maryse vs. Gail Kim
Maryse is coming off of a loss to Eve at Over The Limit, so she wastes no time beating on Gail. A rather decent diva's match here. the finish comes when Kim irsh whips Maryse into a corner and charges at her, but Maryse gets a leg up and pushes Kim away. Maryse sets Kim up for the French Kiss and nails it. She gets the cover to get the win.
Winner: Maryse (4:46)
After the match. Maryse takes a microphone and says something in French. After that, she says that Eve needs to watch her back, because she can be right behind her at anytime. She finishes her promo with a maniacal laugh and her signature hair flip.
The graphic for the main event is shown for the last time because it is next.
Commercial Break
An advertisement for SmackDown is shown. It advertises the return of The Undertaker, and the debut of a bald CM Punk.
No disqualification match for the WWE Championship If Cena loses, he can't challenge for the title with Batista as champion If Batista loses, he must leave Raw John Cena(c) vs. Batista
Both men use the no DQ stipulation to their advantage. Batista throws Cena into the steel steps and works on him from there. Batista lets his guard down however and Cena tosses him over the announce table. Cena gets Batista back to his feet, but he is thrown into the barricade. Batista throws Cena back into the ring and goes for the cover, but only gets two. He throws Cena into a corner and charges at him, but Cena moves out of the way. With Batista groggy, Cena hits the Throwback. Cena sees this as an opportunity to hot the Five Knuckle Shuffle, so he does, but Batista gets back up and spears Cena. He goes for another cover, but once again only gets two. Batista pick up Cena and goes for a running powerslam, but Cena is able to get off of his. He turns Batista around and pick him up on his shoulders and drops him with and Attitude Adjustment. Batista rolls towards the ropes. Cena goes for a pinfall, but Batista is able to get his foot on the rope right before the referee counted three. Batista tries to get away, but Cena moves him to the middle of the ring and locks in the STF. Batista looks like he is about to tap, but Edge comes to the ring. He gets on the ring apron, which forces Cena to get off of Batista. Cena was about to strike Edge, but he jumped off the ring apron. At this time, Randy Orton came down and hit an RKO to Edge on the outside. Orton takes Edge to the backstage area. Cena turns around and is met with a Spinebuster. Batista puts Cena in position for the Batista Bomb, but Cena is able to counter it and put him in position for the Attitude Adjustment. While Cena has Batista on his shoulders, Sheamus comes to the ring with a lead pipe in his hand. He hits Cena in the lower back area with the pipe, which forces Cena to fall down in pain. Batista now sets up Cena for the Batista Bomb and is able to hit it. Batista gets the cover and this time, gets the three count.
Winner: NEW WWE Champion, Batista (17:26)
Before Batista is given the title, he stares at Sheamus, wondering why he helped him. Sheamus leaves the ring as Batista is given the title. Batista doesn't celebrate as he is too confused. Cena is still out cold in the ring. Nonetheless, Batista is the new WWE champion, and John Cena cannot challenge for the title with him as champion.

-Good opening promo. Looking forward to Bret's reign as chairman and what happens with the US Title. Go Cena! -Edge over Truth was expected. -Jericho over Morrison is solid. I wouldn't mind either of them in there. Hopefully, Morrison gets a match at FFW. -Good promo. Miz wanting the title was fun read. Sheamus vs. Orton sounds nice for the next match. -Orton winning is great. He should make a great impact at FFW. -Maryse over Kim is good. Hope Maryse takes the Divas Championship. -Batista taking the gold, I'm not big on. But it's just because I am a Cena fan. Edge's intereference gave me slight hope that Cena would take revenge though. -Good RAW.

Good Monday Night Raw here. Nice opening promo. Well lets see, Edge vs. Truth, obviously Edge was gonna win. I really couldn't say who I wanted to win, it would of been good either way for the Jericho/Morrison match. Yes! Randy over Sheamus. Good match between Kim and Maryse. Please put the belt on Maryse. Batista/Cena match was good-ish I guess, but I hate that Batista won. But I'm interested in why he helped Batista. Overall again Good read for me.

-Solid opening promo, cant see who wins between Cena/Batista. -Edge over Truth is the best choice -Jericho/Morrison goes either way for me -Great promo, Miz wanting the title is nice with me -Maryse over Kim is great. -The Batista/Cena match was great, as Batista wins it, and Cena gets no shots. Hope to see a better title reign now. Overall, good RAW.

- A solid opening promo, a big main event to happen. - Edge defeating Truth is fairly obvious, and the better decision. - Morrison could of won this one to give a little bit of mid-card in the F4W, but Y2J winning is fine. - Good decision to have an 8-man tournament to go on, and Miz being dragged out I can picture. - Orton defeating Sheamus is good, and I see Batista defeating Cena and Sheamus facing Cena at F4W. - Maryse defeating Kim is the best decision here, as Kim doesn't get any reaction on Raw anymore tbh. - A good main event here, and Batista winning is sweet. Now we can have Cena vs Sheamus and the F4W.
A good show.

Friday Night SmackDown! May 28, 2010 Cleveland, OH
Superstars Match: MVP d. Curt Hawkins (5:41)
Right after the intro, "This Fire Burns" hits and the SES makes their way to the ring. Punk doesn't come out with them as he is probably more than embarrassed to show his bald head to the world. Serena goes to the back to bring him out. Punk eventually comes out with a mask on. He tells everybody to shut up and stop laughing. He said that there are a couple of parties that are to blame for this. First, the WWE Universe. Second, Rey Mysterio. And third, Kane. Punk says that he wants a Fatal 4 Way qualifying match tonight against Rey Mysterio. Teddy long now comes. He says that he can't do that. Punk asks why? Teddy says that Punk vs. Mysterio at Over The Limit was actually a qualifying match. Punk is outraged, telling Teddy that this isn't fair. Teddy says that he will give Punk another chance to qualify tonight, because he will face The Undertaker. Punk is even more furious now.
Commercial Break
Christian vs. Chavo Guerrero |
Chavo is still more than angry about the rude remarks that Christian made about his aunt Vickie last week. Christian doesn't let Chavo's attitude get to him though as he takes control of Chavo for a good majority of the match. In the end, Chavo attempts the Three Amigos. On the third suplex, Christian is able to get out of it and hit the Killswitch and get the cover for the win.
After the match, Dolph Ziggler comes down to the ring and attacks Christian. Chavo joins Ziggler in the beat down after he gets back up. Ziggler finishes Christian by hitting the Zig-Zag.
Teddy Long is shown in his office when Drew McIntyre walks in. Drew hands a piece of paper. It turns out to be a restraining order for Drew against Matt Hardy. Drew tells Teddy that if Matt comes within 50 ft. of him, Hardy must be fired. Teddy says okay, since it is a legal document. Drew says that he has two demands that must be met. One, he wants a Fatal 4 Way qualifying match tonight. Two, he wants to invoke his rematch against Kofi Kingston next week. Teddy says that he can give him both of those, especially the qualifying match since he needed somebody else to be in one. Teddy tells Drew to get ready, because later tonight he will have a qualifying match against The Big Show. McIntyre's eye look like they are about to pop out of his head after he hears this.
Chavo and Ziggler are shown walking in the back. Vickie soon meets them and told them that they did a great job, especially Dolph. Chavo seems a bit upset at the fact that his aunt is ignoring him.
A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. CM Punk vs. The Undertaker in a Fatal 4 Way qualifying match.
Commercial Break
The Hart Dynasty is shown walking around backstage. While they are walking, they are soon stopped by The Dudebusters. They tells The Hart Dynasty that they heard they've been looking for competition. Barreta told them to look no further than The Dudebusters. Kidd and Smith talk for a bit before telling them that if they feel that they can beat them, they're on. They can have a non-title match later tonight. The Dudebusters tell The Hart Dynasty that they will see them later before doing their trademark exploding fist bump.
Fatal 4 Way qualifying match Drew McIntyre vs. The Big Show |
McIntyre obviously doesn't want to have to deal with The Big Show. The match starts with Drew slapping Show, which turned out to be a huge mistake. Show put him in a corner and delivered some big opened hand chops to him. Drew got some offense later in the match, but it wasn't enough to keep the giant down. In the end, McIntyre attempted the Future Shock on Show, but he couldn't hook his arms together. Show push Drew off of him and gave him a big knockout punch. Show covered Drew to get the win.
A graphic is shown for our next match, which is a champion vs. champion match and a rematch from last week. Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston.
Commercial Break
Champion vs. Champion World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston |
A good first hour main event here. Swagger wants his revenge here as he lost to Kingston last week. Kofi pulls a lot of high flying moves out of his arsenal. Swagger tries to make this a mat based match, but Kofi doesn't allow that to happen. At one point, Swagger was on the ring apron and Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise on him, which sent Swagger crashing to the outside. He got back in the ring before the ref could count him out. In the end, Kofi goes for the Trouble in Paradise, but Swagger ducks it, kicks him on the mid-section, and then hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb.
Winner: World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger (9:57) |
Swagger took his title and walked to the back. As Kofi was getting up, Drew McIntyre came out and beat down on him. He hit the Future Shock and held up the Intercontinental Title.
LayCool is shown in the backstage area gossiping. Tiffany soon walks past them, which upsets them. They tell Tiffany that nobody just walks past them. It looks as if they were about to jump Tiffany until Kelly Kelly came along. The four women had a stare down until LayCool left the scene, claiming that they didn't feel like getting their hands dirty right now.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Cody Rhodes vs. JTG |
Simple match here. JTG has the fans on his side in this match and he uses their energy to his advantage, gaining offense for a good part of the match. In the end, JTG goes for Da Shout Out, but Rhodes is able to move out of the way. While JTG is getting up, Rhodes puts him in position for The Cross Rhodes and hits it. Rhodes gets the pin.
Winner: Cody Rhodes (5:14) |
After the match Rhodes grabs a microphone. He says that he doesn't care who's the Intercontinental Champion after next week, whether it's Kofi Kingston or Drew McIntyre, he wants a title shot at Fatal 4 Way.
A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. CM Punk vs. The Undertaker in a Fatal 4 way qualifying match.
Commercial Break
A graphic is shown for the Intercontinental Title match next week. Champion Kofi Kingston vs. former champion Drew McIntyre.
Non Title match Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty vs. The Dudebusters |
A great tag team match. The Dudebusters proved in this match that they can be competition for the champs. Barreta had control of Kidd after Croft knocked Smith off the apron. At some points, it looked like The Dudebusters were going to pull out an upset, but in the end Kidd dropkicked Croft off of the apron which allowed the champs to hit The Hart Attack on Barreta, which allowed Smith to get the cover and the win for his team.
Winners: The Hart Dynasty (8:47) |
After the match, Barreta got on the mic and asked the champs if they still wanted competition? The Hart Dynasty said of course. Croft said that they will be making a trip to Raw and they want a rematch. Kidd said that they're on. The champs continued to celebrate.
CM Punk is shown walking towards the ring. The main event is next.
A preview for Raw is shown. The new WWE Champion Batista will confront Sheamus, and John Cena will surely be looking for retribution against The Celtic Warrior.
Fatal 4 Way qualifying match CM Punk vs. The Undertaker |
CM Punk shows a look of fear on his face during The Undertaker's bone chilling entrance. Punk tries to run away from Taker in the beginning, but the Dead Man stays one step above the Straight Edge Superstar. Punk regains his offence after a few kicks to Takers led and a springboard clothesline. Punk feels that he has the upperhand, so he goes for the GTS. Punk has trouble lifting Taker however, so he is unable to do so. While Punk is nursing his back, Undertaker grabs him by the throat and chokelsams him. Taker gets the cover, but Punk is able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Taker puts Punk in position for the tombstone, but Luke Gallows comes down and distracts the ref. Taker answers this by delivering a right hand to Gallows, knocking him off the ring apron. While the ref is trying to get Gallows to the back, Punk low blows Taker. Punk signals that it's time for Taker to Go To Sleep. Suddenly, Kane's pyro goes off, but there is no sign of the Big Red Monster. When Punk turns around, Undertaker puts him in position again for the tombstone, this time hitting it. Undertaker gets the three count.
Winner: The Undertaker (12:31) |
After the match, The Undertaker does his signature pose until Jack Swagger comes out. He stomps on Taker for a bit. HE tells Taker to get up. After Taker does so, Swagger attempts to nail the Dead Man in the skull with the World title belt, but Taker grabs Swagger's throat and chokeslams him. The Undertaker holds up the world title as SmackDown comes to a close.

-The new format is good. I hope it works for you. It's not bad looking at all. -Good opening promo. I love Teddy saying it was already a qualifier match. Should be interesting to see if you do the vegetative state thing on Taker. -Christian over Chavo was a solid call. -Show over McIntyre was good. Happy that McIntyre didn't qualify as he could be in another feud and doesn't seem ready yet. -Rhodes over JTG was a solid move. I like the "Dashing" Cody Rhodes push. Should be interesting. -I felt that Hart Dynasty should have won since they are the champs. But since the Dudebusters came so close, they should be on the contention list. -Taker over Punk was a very smart call then again Punk winning would've been. I can see Punk making some kind of involvement in the WHC Match at FFW. -Great SmackDown; Taker.Mysterio.Show.Swagger sounds awesome.

-The opening segment is great, Punk vs Taker looks to be awesome. - Christian over Chavo was the best choice -Big Show winning, was good, because of the size advantage he has. -Swagger beating Kingston is cool, because he is the World Champ. -Rhodes over JTG, was the right call right there. -Hart Dynasty winning that match is good. -Taker winning there was probably the best choice. Great to see Taker standing tall after Swaggers failed Post Match attack. Overall, great SmackDown.

- A decent new layout, could use a little bit of bolding and such, but ok. - A solid opening promo, and Taker taking on Punk shall be good. - Christian defeating Chavo was the obvious call here as he is so much better. - Big Show over McIntyre I am fine with, although I like McIntyre more, Show is more higher ranked atm. - Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston would put on a fine first hour main event, and Swagger winning was the best call. - The Hart Dynasty over The Dudebusters is the right call here, as I don't believe The Dudebusters can get this big of a win yet. - Lastly, a good main event and Taker going over Punk is good. However, I wonder what Punk will do at F4W now that he isn't involved.
A good edition of Smackdown.

- It has been confirmed that Batista will indeed be staying with the WWE. May questions were asked about this after he won the WWE championship this past Monday.
- The WWE still does not have a clear vision for the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. It looks like they are thinking of having the qualifying matches on the actual pay-per-view, or simply having them on Raw and SmackDown.
- Rumors have been swirling that there will be a King of the Ring edition of Monday Night Raw on June 7th. It doesn't look like this will be the case as the WWE is going to have matches for the United States title tournament on that show.

Monday Night Raw May 31, 2010 Austin, TX
Superstars Match: Zack Ryder d. Goldust (7:02)
Tonight's show begins with a video package from last week. It highlights the WWE championship match between John Cena and Batista. It shows Edge interfering and Orton taking him out of the much. It concludes with Sheamus hitting Cena with a lead pipe, allowing Batista to become the new WWE champion.
After that video package, "I Walk Alone" hits as the new WWE champion Batista enters the ring. He says that he's out here for one reason only and that is to confront Sheamus. Sheamus soon walks through the curtain and makes his way to the ring. Batista asks him why did he help him? Sheamus says that after he took out Triple H, he realized that to get what you want, you have to take out the people who are keeping it from you. That's why he took out Cena. Sheamus says that since he helped Batista win the title, he wants a title shot. Batista thinks about it for a bit before laughing. He says that Sheamus isn't getting anything because he didn't really help him. Batista said that all Sheamus did was get his hands dirty. He had Cena beat from the beginning and didn't need anybody's help. Sheamus is obviously furious now. Batista was about to say something else, but he quickly ran out of the ring. When Sheamus turned around, he was met by John Cena, who hoisted Sheamus onto his shoulders and delivered and Attitude Adjustment. Cena stared at Batista, who had already made his way back to the stage. Cena then turned his attention to Sheamus and applied the STF. General Manager Bret Hart soon comes out and tells Cena to let go of Sheamus. Bret says that he knows what Cena wants, but he can't give him a title shot. But he's going to give him something close to that. At Fatal 4 Way, he will have a one on one match with Sheamus. If Cena wins, the stipulation is lifted. Cena finally gets off of Sheamus. It looks like Cena is going to leave, but he re applies the STF onto Sheamus. Bret tells Cena that he'll give him something else. Tonight, he will face the man who is also responsible for him losing the WWE title. Edge. Cena now lets go of Sheamus, but picks him up and drops him with another Attitude Adjustment.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya vs. The Dudebusters |
The Dudebusters made the trip to Raw after losing to The Hart Dynasty on SmackDown. This match wasn't that much different than their SmackDown match. Since Natalya was in The Hart Dynasty's corner this time, Croft and Barreta both hit on her several times during the match. The Dudebusters were still very impressive nonetheless, showing that they belong in the tag team division. In the end, Barreta missed his running knee, which allowed DH Smith to apply The Sharpshooter to him while Kidd dropkicked Croft off of the ring apron. Barreta quickly tapped out.
Winners: The Hart Dynasty (8:42) |
After the match, Barreta got on the mic once again and said that they want another chance to prove themselves. The Hart Dynasty seemed to decline, seeing as how The Dudebusters had already lost twice. Croft said that they promise this will be the last time they face off. Kidd got a microphone and told them that if they're feeling lucky, they can have one more match on SmackDown, but that's it because The Dudebusters aren't competition, they're just wasting their time. The Hart Dynasty continued to celebrate as Croft and Barreta looked very disappointed.
Josh Mathews is now standing by with the former United States Champion, The Miz. Miz says that Josh calling him the former champion is a false statement. He is still that champion, but Bret Hart thinks otherwise which is why he has to compete in a tournament to get his title back. He said that he will destroy Evan Bourne and the other people that he faces in the tournament to get his title back at Fatal 4 Way and nothing will stop him because he's The Miz and he's awesome. Miz now makes his way to the ring.
Commercial Break
United States Title Tournament Quarter Finals Match The Miz vs. Evan Bourne |
The Miz was in a rather serious mood here as he still furious about Bret Hart vacating the United States Title. He stomps on Bourne in the opening seconds of the match and just tosses him around for a bit. Evan eventually gets a leg up while The Miz is charging at him. Bourne is now in control, but it doesn't last very long as Miz soon kicks him in the mid-section and tosses him out the ring. Miz throws him back in and hits a Reality Check. Miz now signals that he's ready for The Skull Crushing Finale. While Bourne is getting up, Daniel Bryan comes running in from the crowd. Once he gets in the ring, he is taken down by security. Michael Cole is now flipping out on commentary. Miz yells at Bryan, telling him to get out of here and go back to the independents. When Miz turns around, he is met with a jumping knee from Bourne. Bourne now goes to the top rope and hits the Shooting Star Press. Bourne gets the cover for the win.
Winner: Evan Bourne (7:03) |
Bourne celebrates his win with the WWE Universe. The Miz is the first person eliminated from the tournament, and it is all because of his former rookie, Daniel Bryan.
A graphic is shown for the next match. It is the second quarter finals match in the United States Title Tournament. Ted DiBiase vs. R Truth.
Commercial Break
A replay is shown of the events that transpired before the commercial break. The Miz had his tournament match won until Daniel Bryan provided a huge distraction for him, costing him the match.
The Miz now bursts into Bret Hart's office. He says that he wants Daniel Bryan to go to prison, he wants him to have to starve, he wants him to suffer. He keeps going on until Bret stops him. Bret tells him that Daniel Bryan is not a signed superstar, therefore he cannot punish him. Miz says that he guesses that he will have to punish Bryan himself.
United States Title Tournament Quarter Finals Match Ted DiBiase w/ Virgil vs. R Truth |
DiBiase has something to prove tonight, seeing as how he lost to Truth at Over The Limit. A decent first hour main event here, similar to their Over The Limit encounter. Halfway trough the match, DiBiase threw Truth's shoulder into the ring post. Ted worked on Truth's shoulder for the rest of the bout. In the end, Truth got his momentum back and started hitting some of his signature moves, although he continued to favored his shoulder. Truth tried to suplex DiBiase, but the state of his shoulder wouldn't allow him to. While Truth was favoring his shoulder, Ted put Truth in the Million Dollar Dream. He waited a few seconds before dropping him with Dream Street. Ted got the cover for the win.
Winner: Ted DiBiase (9:17) |
We now have our first Semi Finals match set. Evan Bourne vs. Ted DiBiase on June 14th.
A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. John Cena vs.Edge.
Commercial Break
After we return from the break, we see Santino Marella in Bret Hart's office. The guest host for tonight, Ashton Kutcher, soon walks in. He asks Santino what he's doing in Bret Hart's office. Santino says that he wants to show Bret pictures of his trip to Niagara Falls from a few years ago, just to show his love for Canada. Ashton tells Santino "You didn't hear?" Santino says no. Ashton says that he hates to be the one to break the news, but Santino's been fired. Santino now looks like he is about to cry. He asks why? Ashton says that Bret doesn't like people hanging out alone in his office. Santino now begins to cry. Ashton says "You know what else?" Santino asks what. Ashton says "You just got Punk'd!". Santino now has a look of surprise on his face, but he soon begins to cry again. Ashton asks him whats wrong? Santino says he's crying because he just got punk'd.
We are now shown a video that was apparently taken this past weekend. It shows Eve shopping at a store. While she is walking, we see Maryse following her. It's not until a few moments later that Eve realizes that. She tells Maryse that she will ask for security if she doesn't leave now. Maryse tells Eve that she's not going to hurt her, she's just proving her point. Eve asks what point? Maryse says that last week she said that she can be right behind Eve at anytime. She will always be there until she is Divas Champion again. Eve says that the only point she's proving is that she's a stalker. Maryse says that Eve can call it whatever she wants, but she calls it smart strategy. Maryse now leaves the store while Eve has a look of fear on her face, knowing that Maryse can be with her anytime.
Singles Match John Morrison vs. Vladimir Kozlov |
A quick and simple match here. John Morrison, who has a Quarter Finals match in the United States Title tournament next week against Zack Ryder. Morrison used his speed and agility as a weapon against Kozlov. The ending came when Kozlov was attempting to superplex Morrison off the top rope, but Morrison shoved him off. Morrison hit the Starship Pain and got the cover to get the win.
Winner: John Morrison (4:56) |
Morrison has now gained the momentum heading into his Quarter Finals match next week in the United States title tournament.
A graphic for the main event is shown. It is next.
Commercial Break
Singles Match John Cena vs. Edge |
Edge comes to the ring to a lot of heat. John Cena comes out next to a huge ovation. He stares at Edge from the stage for a bit, but he soon runs to the ring and gets in a fist fight with Edge. Cena throws Edge to the outside and starts trading blows with the Rated R Superstar. Cena grabs Edge by the head and throws him over the announce table. The ref is about to count both men out until Cena gets back in the ring and quickly exits it. When Cena goes back to work on Edge, he is hits in the mid-section with a chair and soon in the back. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: via disqualification, John Cena (1:23) |
Edge leaves the scene and heads back up the ramp. Bret Hart soon comes out and tells Edge that he's not going to let this show end like this. He tells Edge to get back in the ring because it is now going to be a tag team match. Edge argues with him. Bret tells Edge that he's going to love Cena's partner. "Voices" plays as Randy Orton comes out. Edge runs back into the ring as Orton chases him. Orton and Edge now get into a fist fight while Cena is getting back to his feet. Cena and Orton double team Edge for a bit until his partner is introduced, the WWE Champion, Batista.
Tag Team Match WWE Champion Batista and Edge vs. John Cena and Randy Orton |
The bells rings when Batista hits the ring. Cena immediately takes him down while Orton and Edge continue to fight. The ref tries to get all four superstars under control, but it's too much for him. More referees now come and settle everything down.
Commercial Break
We return from the commercial break with Orton and Edge squaring off. After a few minutes, Edge tags in Batista, who takes complete control of Orton. Orton gets his momentum back soon and goes crazy on Batista. Orton goes for the RKO, but Batista pushes him away. Unfortunately for Batista, he threw Orton into John Cena, which allowed a tag to take place. Cena now came rushing in to get his hands on Batista. Batista soon tagged in Edge. Cena had Edge in position for an Attitude Adjustment, but Batista came in and speared Cena. The referee now tried to back Batista up. While this was happening, Orton came into the ring and RKO'd Edge. The ref was counting both men down, but Cena tagged in Orton. Orton covered Edge, who was still out from the RKO while Cena took care of Batista. Orton got the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton and John Cena (12:13) |
Sheamus now came onto the stage with the intentions of having a stare down with Cena. Cena thought differently and ran after The Celtic Warrior. Batista now got back to his feet and clotheslined Orton. When Batista turned around, he was met by a Spear from Edge. Edge picked Orton up, but ending being on the recipient end of another RKO. Orton saw the WWE title on the mat and looked to pick it up. Before he could, Chris Jericho came out and delivered a Codebreaker to Orton. Jericho picked up the title and looked at it, like as if he was having a staring contest with it. He held up the title to end this episode of Monday Night Raw.
