Really happy he won because I think it could mean big things for Miz for years to come. I think Miz should hold onto it until WrestleMania personally. Wait for Cena, who he got absolutely squashed by during that "feud", to defend or win the WWE title and then cash it in and have him get his revenge.
It would be kind of cool to see him cash it in and lose, but then turn around and actually win the title in a rematch for the belt. The MITB briefcase was created for guys like Edge and Miz though IMO. Guys who will come out of nowhere, take the title, and then get out of town.

Love it. Best choice to win the match. Agreed. The Miz has got it all, and I'm glad WWE is realizing that and is ready to take advantage of it. I've got this horrible feeling, though, that if anyone is going to be the first to lose when cashing in, it's going to be him. Hopefully they'll hold off on it for a while and let him build a bit more. I'd LOVE to see an Orton/Miz feud going into Summerslam, with Orton eventually putting Miz over to really catapult him to where he needs to be. They teased it a few weeks ago and I think it's a great idea. |

I marked out when he got it, more then I marked out when I thought Bourne had it.
I just hope he wins the Championship and doesnt lose during his match. This is awesome though, all pun intended

I've been enjoying Miz more and more as I watch him and really wanted him to win this so I am glad he did. I really hope that this gives him a huge push and isn't going to be the first guy to cash in and then lose.

Miz is definately a guy I'd like to see cash it in on a big stage, as his character likely would. SummerFest in L.A. would be a pretty good choice (even if he banned from it).

Amazing how we have seen him go from a nothing in the WWE to right here where he is now. Miz truly has made me a believer. The guy just has the IT factor, and I am happy to say (and still surprised) that he has become a solid wrestler. I hope he goes to the top and cements his name as a world champion. When he got emotional winning the briefcase... I don't know, you could just feel in yourself what he had to be feeling. You watch a guy grow like this, and then finally succeed - and even if you've never met or said a word to him... it's sorta like you accomplished too. That whole, "living vicariously" thing. Tonight made me remember things like Eddie's first WWE title, seeing Edge win it the first time, and Punk's first world title. Even though Miz hasn't won it "yet" - this still really got to me. I'm VERY happy for him. A lot of my friends aren't wrestling fans, and couldn't understand things like Eddie's death affecting so many fans... but man, you see these people week in and week out on your TV for YEARS at a time, you go through ups and downs with them, there are moments when you laugh, you cry, and moments that flat out touch your heart. **** like that you know? And just like with Miz tonight, like you said - watching him grow from NOTHING to what he is now... Just made me feel lucky and be proud to be a fan. |

I'll take a guess here and say he's cashing in at Hell in A Cell in October. Probably on Cena or Orton or whoever's got the belt at that time

I'm glad that Edge or Orton or Jericho didn't win. I like these three wrestlers, but The Miz needed this win more than them.
