So The Miz is gonna be on Team Raw. Awesome. I don't think he'll be. I reckon he will cash in and unfortunately lose. The final man for Team Raw is going to be Daniel Bryan. Quote me. EDIT: Or possibly Triple H QFT

To hold us over until late Friday:
Do you think WWE essentially advertising SummerSlam, it's second-biggest PPV of the year, around one Match (Nexus/WWE) will prove wise in both quality and buyrates?

I think one reason the card seems so awkward is because the 7 On 7 Match is going to eat up a lot of time, at least 40+ minutes. If you recall, the WWF/Alliance Elimination Match at Survivor Series '01 went nearly an hour and that only had 10 guys in it. Hopefully they find at least one more match to add though, because this show desperately needs a hot opener. I was going to say two matches, so they have one to cool off the crowd between heavyweight title matches and the 7 On 7 Match (which I'm assuming has to be the main event), but honestly if anything they'd need another match to wake the crowd up between title matches. I can't picture either Kane/Mysterio or Sheamus/Orton being an edge-of-your-seat type of exciting match. So 2 more matches would be nice, but I doubt there would be time for that. Hopefully a match is made at the Smackdown taping tonight.Done and done.

It's kind of obvious the Nexus is going to attack the Miz at SummerSlam and take him out. That's why he doesn't have a match and the only thing he can do is cash in his MITB. The most likely candidates are Triple H and Bryan Danielson. I'm praying it isn't Triple H though because that is just waaaaaaaaaay too predictable. It would be a much bigger shock and surprise if it was Bryan Danielson, despite people saying no one even remembers who he is, I don't believe that. I guarantee if it's Danielson, he'll get a huge pop. I have a very strong feeling that it's Danielson.

Miz can come down following the WWE Championship Match and once again get this close to cashing in, only to get attacked by Nexus. There's been a lot of interesting ideas/possibilities for the main event that it's such a shame that they couldn't have come up with anything interesting for the rest of the card. This could have been such a memorable event, but it's going to wind up being a mostly forgettable show. I already have trouble remembering what all is scheduled and it's not because there are too many matches to keep track of. It's because what they are offering is underwhelming. Definitely not worth ordering, but probably worth checking out at some point strictly for the main event.

Miz will be the guy. For the last damn time, Triple H will NOTTTTTTTTT be the 7th member. Why would they even show The Miz on Raw with Bret/Cena if he just turns them down like everyone thinks. Idiotic. It'll amount to NOTHING and get him no heat. Everyobe thinks he's going to turn them down, then if he does, the people will be "Yeah, already knew that".
Triple H had surgery a MONTH a go tor a torn tendon. He's not healed. If he did miraculously heal in time, he won't be in ring shape and won't be able to do anything of note. And we have 1 guy on the team like that already, Bret Hart. Everyone on the fn board thinks he's the guy. Prepared to be disappointed and I'll be here to say I told ya so.

I think what may happen is Miz will end up being the Nexus leader and turn on team WWE and then w/Nexus' help he'll cash in the MITB case and beat Orton for the belt after Nexus attack him.

If it were up to most people, the Nexus would have like 10 different leaders by now. Newsflash, they already have a leader, his name is WADE ING BARRETT!

Barrett may be the leader, but he's not the mastermind. I'm pretty sure they don't have a mastermind, nor do they need one. Seeing as how there's a master plan to it, and the fact they need more than themselves to survive(Can't win clean at SSlam, can't lose at all), while you may be right that Barrett's "the guy", Nexus will take a WWE Superstar in. Then it's just a case of if that Wrestler was the pupeteer and Barrett was the head of the group, or if Barrett actually is the leader and recruited the WWE Superstar, which would be very surprising, to me.

That would be fine with me, just as long as no one is above Barrett. But as far as I'm concerned, the Nexus is their own thing and they don't take orders from anyone. Except from Barrett of course.

Looking forward to Sheamus/Orton, Kane/Rey and of course, Nexus/Team WWE. Should be a decent show.

See, the main event (or what we presume to be the main event) has been built wonderfully. In fact, it's probably the best built match since the Wrestlemania main events. Even the build for Orton/Sheamus hasn't been terrible. The problem is the rest of the card. But it certainly doesn't feel like the second biggest event of the year, that's for sure.

It kinda is and I think it is not a good idea. But they'll see if it paid off or not when they get the buy rates..
