The Riot? I know him! Seriously though, that had better be a joke for TNAs sake. ECW vs TNA is a mediocre idea at best to begin with but to do an ECW reunion show would be a massive fail. People already don't buy their PPVs.

I probably will get the PPV if they get TALENT that are not old and out of their prime and haven't wrestled for years A good main event would be Raven vs Tommy Dreamer where anything goes but if they contract these ECW Originals then TNA needs a PPV in August and the ECW Reunion should be on SpikeTV as a 4 hour special

I doubt it's going to be an ECW-all PPV. That wouldn't make any sense, as they're all on the same side, and going against TNA.
I don't watch TNA to watch ECW, I watch TNA to watch crazy matches that they usually have. I'm going to assume, like all news posts, that it's false information.

With the name, the first thing I thought of was I was PRAYING for a Cena win. Would have been so epic.

I have to agree with opposite jelly on this one. I dont think this will turn out to be true. The name Riot Makers may turn out to be true, as TNA isnt the best with stable names lately. I still hate the name Fortune.
But i seriously doubt that it will be an all ECW show with only ECW stars. I would imagine the Title match that night will be Abyss vs RVD, so thats a TNA star vs ECW star right there.
I think it will mainly be TNA vs ECW at this ppv. If it does turn out to be only former ECW wrestlers, it will probably suck. I really hope they dont go that way with this one. I want to see Joe, Hardy, AJ, MCMG and all the other TNA talent if Im going to buy a TNA PPV.

Even if its TNA vs. ECW, it's still an old rehashed idea that isn't good at all.

As an avid ECW fan, no problem seeing ex-ECW stars on TV regardless... But for they're company's business? What're TNA thinking? This company is gonna be dead this time next year unless they don't get Heyman in.

So what you're saying is, TNA are taking one of their monthly PPVs and totally disregarding all of the storylines we have going at the minute in favour of something ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL to what the WWE did and aren't even booking any TNA talent to appear on it?
I'M SUPPOSED TO BE SHOCKED BY THAT SORT OF STUPIDITY!

RVD vs. Jerry Lynn- 30 Minutes damn it Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer
If they were to do TNA vs. ECW I'd have loved to have seen MCMG's vs. RVD/Jerry Lynn as the headliner

It might temporarily increase ratings and buyrates. Those are the main things all of you bitch about and make fun of constantly. Most of you aren't TNA fans and don't watch the product anyway, so why would this effect you? I'm a TNA fan, and I'm fine with this whole ECW angle completely.

Wrestling fans are never satisfyed. If this logic was used back in 1996, than nobody would have jumped on the stone cold bandwagon because all he was, was a Sandman rip off. I guess that was ok though because nobody knew who Sandman was but 10% of the east coast, But that makes it ok.

I think its a great idea mixed with stupid ideas.. if that makes any sense.
for instance.. the name. I can see where TNA would try to capitalize off the wwe's success with the ONS ppv's/ i can see that - but the name makes absolutely no sense.. having a SECOND ONE night stand was not logical even for the wwe. im not saying im against a 2nd or 3rd ecw reunion .. im saying they should have at least been more creative with the name
as for ecw being in TNA.. i love it. its a chance to see some hardcore wrestling with the chance of seeing heyman and the ecw guys can still go they proved that a few years ago
they can also draw decent numbers in ratings.. i believe the ecw show on sci fi when heyman was in charge was getting ratings in the high 1's that's better than what tna is currently doing
tna can use all the help they can get.. i just think they need to plan and think things out better before pulling the trigger on anything.
people can call me what they want.. but i think this is more interesting than anything wwe is currently doing on tv
the nxt storyline is decent.. but i dont think it's something that really catches my attention. i like seeing wrestlers i know.. chris jericho , triple h etc
but that's just me
i dont think you can build 10 or whatever stars at one time.. or whatever they are trying to do.
ive come to the conclusion tna is just trying to make some money.. and they are a business after all
