I know but Savage is a guy, that while I'd want him I'd really only want one version. Because I did like him, but he wasn't one of my all-time favorites but once he started to do the commentary in the WWF I did start to lose interest in him as a performer.

If that Shawn Michaels is the one that was posted on Mattel's facebook page a couple months ago, it was Basic. So the Defining Moments could be Basics the same way as the EGs.

You are 100% right, I didn't notice MM's legs but after looking at the picture you posted again that is def Elite, unless they went diva style. I would expect Shawn the same way then. |

They even broke out a GOLD base for Macho! I'm sure we will see tri star Savage with Steamboat WMIII 2 pack.

Crap. I had pretty much lost all interest in Savage by the time he started wearing the cowboy hats and long tights. I'd have much rather had a pre-Macho King Savage. Oh well I'll still get it, but that is really not an era of Savage I wanted. Same here, but I'm sure his Legends release will be 'pre-King', this is a whole other line. Can you imagine the robe with such a figure? that's exciting. I love this figure, tough I can't wait to see more pictures, especially of the face. |

^I think WWE Defining Moments will basically be Elite Entrance Greats sans soundbase. I LOVE the idea, but am frightened at what Mattel will expect for these things. Time will tell, I suppose.

Why limit themselves? Defining Moments seems to be a way to get elite figures in special gear that's too elaborate for the Legends line. You might be right, Defining Moments might replace EG, but I doubt it. It'll be another EG-style line, just releases a few figures a year. I would expect a Macho Man EG as well at some point. |

it's under a series called Defining Moments and it looks like it is going to come with HBK....makes me wonder if this is what the Legends 2 pack will be called......I can't believe we are getting a Macho Man figure... I  ING LOVE MATTEL |
