You wrestling fans are unbelievable. I really don't understand you. Thank god its over? This sucks, I can't wait until it ends? Turn it the off. This was the first wrestling show I have seen in years and you know what, I was entertained for the small portion I saw. The Dudleys' match was hilarious, RVD and Sabu entertained, and Raven/Dreamer was alright. Quit in complaining, you prissy bitches. People cant complain when they have spent their hard earned money on a crappy PPV they are dissapointed with, of course they can, just because you liked it doesnt mean everyone else has to.

NOW THATS HOW YOU DO HARDCORE! Freaking Amazing Show! Agree, I love how Raven had such good heat behind him, especially for not having much of any real story to the match. He just has that super villain evil look, and it really works for him. I suppose I could be a bit biased, as he's been amazing since WCW and one of my favorite wrestlers to watch then, but still.....great match. The only part of the PPV that I didn't really care for, was the dance off. I was thinking "Oh no..TNA is going to mess this up and I'm going to hear every fan bitch about it for the next few months, then podcasts I try to listen to for fun will complain about it..ugh" But even that match turned out to be quite entertaining. I was actually REALLY surprised to see New Jack on TV. After all the crazy things you hear about him, and what he has done..I was like 'HOLY poop...IT'S NEW JACK!!!" Agreed. I was shocked as hell to see New Jack. I loved this PPV. 8/10.

I really wish the building would just blow up randomly. The crowd would probably chant ECDUB while they died. Lmao.

I do have to say, I was shocked that Sabu didn't botch every other move. Maybe it is just his natural chemistry with Van Dam, but I thought he performed very well tonight - the best performance he has put on in a long time.

No, the thing is..the people that are bitching..are the people that ALWAYS bitch. I sorta got used to em. And if they're going to buy a PPV from a show they already can't stand, then that is their obvious stupidity. The thing is...they can't blame Russo, they can't blame Hogan. They can't blame Run in's in every match...but they still bitch. And why do they still bitch? Because they're idiots. They want to watch because "It's supposed to be a train wreck"..but it wasn't a train wreck, so they can't even bitch about that. What are they bitching about...that ECW didn't give 5 star matches with good psychology? Are they ING STUPID? It's ECW. Known for hardcore violence. However, the matches they did put on were great and not many of those people missed a step from 10+ years back. I'm still finding it crazy, when you have 2 matches announced on the card first of all, being Tommy Dreamer vs Raven and RVD vs and people are complaining about psychology in a match in ECW. EditAnd even if TNA put on their own show with their own talent, and it was a decent PPV...which they've been putting on recently, especially Bound for Glory, people would still bitch...and the thing is, it would be the same exact people bitching now for the ECW complaining that it wasn't a TNA PPV.

My final thoughts of the PPV: As I said earlier, the crowd, the lights and the commentary put a real big hurting on the PPV. Was surprised the opener was lame, should have started off hot. Was angry there was no highly entertaining wrestling match, which of course would have been RVD/Lynn. Obvious fire table spot was obvious. Simon Diamond has gotten FAT Only match that gave me any interest was Dreamer/Raven, which wasnt that good. But it was decent. BTW, I'd give TNA props to a show when they actually deserve it. Everything I've watched lately has been lackluster IMO. The only thing interesting in TNA right now is the Tag Team feud. And thats IT, to me.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I feel like this board had become a forum for complaints and putdowns for the TNA product regardless of what they do. I have been a fan since the weekly PPV's and am grateful that I have a choice when I put my TV on. The rest of you do too. If you don't like it, go back to whatever it is you watch and love so much because obviously this isn't it.

The majority of people on here are so disgruntled with the professional wrestling industry they cannot appreciate anything. Why do you even comment or watch wrestling anymore?
Anyway, after a 10 year absence from PPV, in my opinion the ppv, for the limitations it was faced with (one-night contracts and insurance liabilities), was good. My three point analysis. First, the matches were solid, not great, but solid. The quirky humor in the matches played to really old school ECW and made up for ring rust. Second, the booking was great if compared with the booking of old ECW house events. You had random wrestlers face each other who put on solid matches. In addition, the matches played into historical angles. Third, I loved the fan intensity. Great fan response can make the worst of matches watchable. Remember not ALL ECW matches were great and ECW knew how to leverage fan/wrestler interaction to remedy this problem.
The negatives were the announcing. I have grown to dislike Mike Tenay, after watching TNA since the beginning of the year. He does not have it and I hope Borash gets a push. Also, some of the wrestlers were in terrible health. Balls looked atrocious. Simon Diamond gained a lot of weight. Kid Kash looked good but he is ripped now. Other than that, I thought most looked like they did from the 1990's.
Also, why are the majority of wrestling fans here so condescending towards people who attend live events? Are you any better than they are? Are you jealous? I do not understand your perspective. You were/are doing the same thing when you attended/attend wrestling events. The attitude is perplexing and inconsistent, if this is true. I am not saying all wrestling fans are great but it is what it is.

Considering they're the ones that brought it back in the first place....that's a stupid statement. Yeah, they brought it back, but they also pretty much laid it to rest. All TNA did was try to revive a hideous decaying corpse. Laid it to rest? That's why there was a second ONS, right? Ya know, with John Cena in the main event..then of course, bringing it back into something completely different, with Tommy Dreamer acting like an ass clown every week. How many times did WWE fans say 'Man, I wish ECW would have kept the old ECW feeling with matches that were actually hardcore" Oh...wait...almost ALL OF THEM But NOW, TNA has all the talent that the WWE fans wanted, so they come over here...and since they hate TNA, all they can do is complain. Because it's not on 'their' PG rated show.
