Nope when i got mine it was just the glue but i noticed it seemed very weak. It seemed like it was in sections and not applied on the whole plastic to stick it down. Looks like they might be using staples to hold them onto the card.

I could have easily returned my Angle without them even knowing I had opened it and put a different figure in.... but Im not a douche like that My Angles plastic part of the packaging just sorta fell off and the card was perfect. Didnt have any of the card peel or damage. So I put a DA Shelton Benjamin in for the lols and stuck it back together, getting ready for when he debuts in TNA Took it apart though, looked strange with a Kurt Angle picture in the top left xD I think Jakks went on the cheap side when it came to the packaging, looks cheap and is falling apart like its cheap. Nice pickups PJ. Always enjoy your pics of the figures. I wanna get that Sting but it doesnt have the padding his tights. Just a poor paint job on kneepads he doesnt even wear.

Yes, that's why I got rid of the knee pads on the figures I got from RSC a while back ...I still want to fix the thigh pads, but haven't figured out how I want to do it yet. Wait A Minute.......Where The Hell is Angle's Mouthpiece.......Foiled Again... The same place his lightly painted facial hair and hair went...along with Sting's detailed thigh pads and Style's knee pads.

It's sad that the protos looked better than the final releases... Anyways, looks like the packaging is also turning out to be a letdown... oh well... God bless.

Bro, In the past year, I remember that the protos looked cr@p, and the final releases look equally cr@p... however, this time the protos actually looked good! In particular, I thought that the Kurt Angle scan looked AMAZING -- the stubbled look was spot on! With the full beard, and Hogan hairstyle, the final release looks quite terrible God bless.

I am glad they are showing up at retail now. But i agree, I got series 1 from RSC and the Bubbles were practically falling off as I picked each up out of the box they were shipped in. This is ok for me, as Im a loose collector.
But for MOC fans these are going to be a pain in the ass.
I actually like the look of them. But Jakks still finds a way to mess things up. Like the scale, or how they spelled Roodes name wrong on the back of his tights from 2 pack series 1.
But i enjoy these TNA figures. I collect WWE Elite and Elite Legends as well. and it is true, Mattel blows Jakks away. But i still like the TNA jakks figures. They are just something different. If Jakks put a little more effort in, this could be a great line.

The ones I received from Jakks many months ago didn't have this issue. Not sure what the deal is with that. I know them personally and they didn't tell me anything about this so I'm surprised to hear there was an issue.
