Hi all, im new here. Hope i post at the right place. I'm impressed by skribbel customs. I emailed him and was quite taken aback by the high price quoted. I also did some research and found that some got their skribbel custom for $80 and some as much as $165 for a custom! Add international shipping to it, it probably cost me $200 for 1 skribbel custom. Hope brothers here can advise me if its worth the high price and any reputable customs maker here.

Honestly, the only person who can answer that question is you. It all depends on how much you want the figure and how much you like the custom work. You have to decide if it is worth it to you to pay that for a figure.
As far as the price range you quoted, I think that is pretty fair. I have routinely paid between $50 and $100 for 1 custom figure if I really like it. You have to pay for quality work.
Other customizers on this board that I really like are TheAxeHennig, FamousJ and Warheart. They do amazing work and are very fair in their prices. There are others too but I recommend browsing through some custom threads and see whose work you are really impressed with. It is going to cost more to ship internatioanally which sucks but again, it comes down to if its worth it to you.

no one can answer that question but you, what a custom is worth is solely based on how much you enjoy the piece. There isn't any sort of price guide for customs. Skribbel does great work, his ebay stuff does very well. I wouldn't personally pay that kind of a price for any custom, but that's me. If it makes you happy, it's worth whatever money you want to pay.

Thanks for the replies. I guess it might also be good if i email skribbel personally to discuss on how he decide on the price as well. As for if its worth? Like what willy and titantrap said, its really for each individual to decide. Thanks.

Another thing to take into consideration is if you're an MOC or Loose collector. Or if you still play with your figures. Whereas most customs aren't playable.
Skribbel does some amazing work. And like the posters above me, it's really up to you.
