well, it obviously blows the jakks version out of the water No it doesn't, I prefer the Jakks version, much better head scan. If he didn't have the eyes rolled back I'd get because I think it would look much better, but for now, I'll stick with my good old TTL.

Man...I'm on the fence on if I should order that or not. It's great, but I'm more into modern era figures. I might just get it and do a head swap with my current Elite1 Taker figure.
By the way, does anyone know when that figure is going to go up for sale on Matty?

The hair mold has the same problem like the Jakks version had. Since you remove the coat it leaves are gap between shoulders and hair with looks weird but I dont think it can get fixed any better then how mattel done it, maybe adding real hair! lol... Thanks for the good images and I cant wait to receive mine in the mail!

Again...the Mattel version destroys Jakks. That's fairly obvious. The Mattel headscan is so much better. Thanks for the comparison pics.

You have to remember Mattel just released theirs in 2010 while Jakks released theirs in 2000. So thats are 10 year gap between technology etc... Again...the Mattel version destroys Jakks. That's fairly obvious. The Mattel headscan is so much better. Thanks for the comparison pics.

Awesome. This figure is just amazing, the detail is INCREDIBLE. Ive got to get this somehow! It looks amazing! Thanks for the pics! ...to you guys complaining about the price, just bite the bullet on August 2nd and buy the damn thing from MattyCollector.com - if you don't do it then, you'll be kicking yourself in the ass later on when the prices go sky high. I could see this being an incredibly sought after figure in a year or two. Think about it. Yeah i see this figure holding some really good value in the future. I just want it cause Im a taker fan though but its going to be difficult because i hear mattycollector isnt too easy to use (crashes). Plus the time zone difference will probably be another barrier and that they dont disclose international postage amounts.

can we not turn this into a Jakks v. Mattel thing? Jakks released that figure 10 YEARS AGO and then re-released it (albeit with less detail) in Classic Series 3. Which was about 6 years ago. There is no "blowing out of the water" (I really hate that phrase now)
OBVIOUSLY the Mattel one is going to be more detailed. Not to mention that it's an exclusive which warrants extra effort & a higher price tag. That Jakks TTL Undertaker was probably $6.00 when it first came out.
He obviously posted the comparison shots just to see how far the wrestling figure business has come but, for the time, that TTL Undertaker was AMAZING...if you can't see that...you're completely blind. There is NO better or worse here.
Thanks for the awesome pics Kollecting King...I'm really on the fence about getting it. It's an amazing looking figure, I just don't know if I have the extra cash to shell out for it. We'll see how much it ends up costing through either Ringside (if they get any) or Mattycollector

I think the Jakks one still looks really good, and does have a better headscan. Is it a slightly different attire? To be honest, I'd still like to see an Undertaker in the same attire as Ministry of Darkness' custom in his sig pic.
My SDCC one came with the poster, apparently when my friend went to pick it up they gave the poster out with the figure. Might have been just for pre-orders?
