another thing that might shock us. You all know of those salvation army bellringers in the front of the store? Target doesn't allow them do it in front of there ! I worked at Target few years back and I remember the uproar over that. I pretty much though it was pointless too as they're nothing but an annoyance. I refuse to donate to them just because they sit and ring that damn bell. Its like them saying, hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey until you finally give them money. They seem more like beggers then a charity |

Yeah, it seems like a stretch to me. Target probably saw more pros than cons when making the decision to donate that much money. It doesn't mean that they support any sort physical violence towards homosexuals. Tell ya what, as long as they sell uncensored music, Target will have me as a customer.

I am not going to let a corporate decision alter my opinion on every store. It is not like every manager at every Target across the nation decided to donate to the cause. Is supporting that group wrong? Yes. Is it going to make me stop shopping at Target? No. This. Along with the fact that I really don't give a shit. |

Believe it or not, it can hinder a business. Totally agree with this. I avoid the local grocery stores by my work due to these people. Also, on a odd side note, I actually did stop by a Target today. I managed to pick up 3 boxes to ship figures in, a couple of minor grocery items, and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue all for just under $13. No homosexuals were harmed during the duration of my shopping experience, but I did see a lesbian woman who appeared to be upset with someone contacting her via text message. |

If I remember one year there may of been a bellringer at a target my family went to. I was looking up info on target to back their store, since I usually shopped there, but found this and got my gears grinding. lol another thing that might shock us. That in my opinion, is stealing from the people you're ringing the bell for. What's the world come to? |

That's not really a fair statement, though. It's not like Target has a homosexual in the middle of their Target logo or anything.
Target donated money to MF. MF is an organization that works with Minnesota legislation to create more private sector jobs. One of Tom Emmer's issues in his campaign is the creation of more private sector jobs.
The fact that Target donated money to a company that runs ads supporting a candidate that shares an issue, and that candidate can be linked to an organization that supports the killing of gays and lesbians does not directly mean that MF or Target share those same values.
Sorry, but politics doesn't work the same way as 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon.
