^ Could be, although I thought they were the same. I had the slammers version, and my friend had the series 2 figure. It could just be a matter of how the fleshtone contrasts against the bright pink tank top, rather than the black.
On a different note, there was a guy who was taking real-scan heads and adding them to BCA figures. I was curious to see how a Bret Hart BCA would look with a real-scan head. I always liked the detail on Bret's figures (even the RAs haven't matched the tights detail of Superstars 2 Bret - the heart designs in the diagonal line, the boots, the word "HITMAN" properly placed). The only thing missing from the BCA Brets were the designs on the backs of the trunks.

Did anyone else ever receive any bonus figures with the BCA-era rings they bought? I know at least one person said they did earlier on in the thread. I remember a sale at TRU where if you bought 4 figures you got a Raw Is War Monster Ring for free. Is the Marc Mero from the Livewire series in the red boxing shorts considered rare? I never could find that figure.

So they never made an all black attire BCA Bret figure? I see the overwhelming majority having the Superstars 1/Slammers color pattern with black top/pink bottom. Then there's that all pink one pictured above. The only one with black bottoms was Superstars 2, correct? And that one was never re-released? Anyone ever pop a black top on the black bottoms for like a Survivor Series 97 style Bret? Back in the day my younger brother had the BCA series 1 & 2 bret and my mom was gonna give them away so i took them and did a switch and made an all black bret and an all pink bret. Chicago can i see an upclose pic of vinces leg

This thread is reviving my love for BCA. I'm thinking I might take the series 2 bret legs and the series 3 bret torso and make my own all bret figure. Has anyone tried it or have pictures of one?

It looked really good. I can't remeber if its one that I sold or not. I'll check when I'm at my mom's tomorrow night for SummerSlam, and if I can find it, I'll post a pic for you guys Monday.

Chicago can i see an upclose pic of vinces leg Sure. To fallbrawl - I wouldn't consider Mero's Live Wire Series 2 repaint to be rare, but it is somewhat hard to come by since the series was exclusive to K-Mart stores. I didn't save the pic of the all black custom Bret I saw on eBay, but it looked about what you'd expect it to look like.

Oh man, this thread just reminded my of how I got my three faces of foley pack. At elementary school in a latchkey program, we would have people from the high school come and like you know help us and hang out for their community service. Well I was talking to one guy about my wrestling figs and we were talking about the BCA's. He told me about his three faces of foley that he still had and asked if I wanted them. I said yes in a heartbeat and then just like he had said, he come the next day with all three and the Barbed Wire bat accessory. I was so pumped. Felt like telling a story

We used to have a Secret Santa type of deal at my old elementary school and I always wanted to get someone's gift and have it be wrestling related lol, but it never happened. I guess even then it wasn't big enough for the whole class to follow wrestling collectibles, but those were fun days when most everyone was aware of the Attitude era programming. Christmas was also the best when I had been looking forward to getting a few of my most wanted figures and ending up with a bunch of unexpected gifts.
It's been a long day and I wasn't able to take the loose pics I wanted of my new collection, but I did take a few as a preview. First, the two totes: My newer BCA style collection, and I still have plenty more that I'm interested in getting at some point. The remnants of my old BCA collection, minus the HBK and Slaughter; those two were included in two random lots I won on eBay and I decided to keep them separate from my new figures for, well, no particular reason at all lol. Check out my Billy Gunn-turned-Mikey Whipwreck! The chest (and similar back design) was supposed to be a blue and red spiral symbol. Ahmed is a god-awful K-Kwik custom. I nearly used the Shamrock as a Paul London, until I decided to keep Kenny the way he is. No comment on Phineas, Mero, and Double J lol. Oh, look, it's Sean Waltman, too.

Not BCA related, but Christmas related.
When TTL's were out I got 2 Test/Lita's one Christmas, one from my mom and dad and one from my sister. I don't know how they didn't coordinate and figure out not to buy the same figures.
But I kept one MOC and opened the other. Months later, somehow my sister got $20 and I convinced her somehow to buy the other Lita/Test set from me even though she hates wrestling. I went to Wal-Mart and bought the Fueled by Fury set which featured Jericho, Taker and Flair.

We had this old house which the steps would go up and there would be a platform and then another set of steps going in a different direction to get up stairs.
Well, Kane and Dude Love were in a hotly contested feud and the stipulation of their final match was a stairs match.
To win you must throw your opponent down the two separate flights of steps.
Kane easily won by grabbing Love by the throat and launching him off the top of the steps.

I never sold doubles of a figure to a family member, but I did receive a second 2 Tuff Series 4 Val Venis/B.A. Billy Gunn 2-pack as a gift and gave the Venis to my mother since she was a Val fan lol.
She had it displayed in front of a lamp on her dresser until I took it back to have a mint Venis figure for my collection. It's too bad I don't have that figure anymore, as I would probably give it back to her again to see her non-reaction lol.

I can't believe that nobody has talked about this yet, but what about that crazy Al Snow incident where his BCA toys were taken off the market cause of that barbie doll head on it and a woman thinking it was about hurting girls. I remember I had the Al Snow and that head and I can't believe a woman actually thought that about the figure.
Though, that figure was fun to play with. He was designed perfectly for the moonsault and his snowplow finisher, and sit down spinebuster. An awesome figure it was!!

There's a 2-pack of him and Al, and he was feuding with Al when this happened, so he brought up how 'little kids wouldn't be able to get a Bob Holly doll for Christmas' because of Al Snow, something to that affect.

One year a few days before Christmas both sides of my family got together and exchange gifts. I usually never got anything wrestling except from my parents but that year was different. My Grandma got me the 2 Tuff series 2 New Age Outlaws and my Aunt got me a Series 4 Vader. My Sister got me a notebook and a pack of pencils and that was when i started writing down all of my storyline.

Which one, and how did it break?
By the way, I'm about to take some pics of my loose collection. Nothing fancy, but it will be a good way to update what I've got.
