Do people who do customs have any advice for opening Jakks BCA figures up? The Slammers are easy, but I've had difficulty getting other BCA torsos opened up so I can switch arms/legs/heads. Any tips people have would be appreciated.

Any tips people have would be appreciated. Use a razor blade and go down the side that is straight and then once you cut a big enough slit put the screwdriver in and turn and the Torso should pop if people are interested I could do a video on it on YouTube.

therealworldchampionThe Raw Is War assortment was at first thought to be exclusive to Walmart, but then other stores such as Kmart and Target got them in after a couple of weeks. Mankind is joined by The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Undertaker in this wave of only four figures. Billy Gunn and HHH were shown in Walmart's system at the time, but for whatever reason those two never shipped. Also, a variation of the Raw Is War Mankind figure with Road Dogg sweats does exist but it's a little less common than the one you opened. Either figure is a great value considering the accessories that come with it.

That's why I wanted it oh well as you can see in the second video I fixed it. 😀

That was a fun behind-the-scenes look into the world of customizing BCA figures. Thank you again for taking the time to share that with us. Even if I don't trust myself with doing anything besides gluing a head back on, I found that to be very informative. Mankind with the black sweats is something missing from this line, so kudos for making that a reality after all these years.

So I got my first BCA in the mail today. It was the cheapest MOC on eBay for $8 shipped. Droz with King of the Ring packaging and kitchen sink accessory. Initial thoughts: I never realized how big these older packages were. Wow its massive I also got an early TTL Austin for his denim jacket to put on my Mattel ABA Taker fixup, and the package was damn big too. I like the articulation with regards to the time period and all. Love the arms and legs. I feel like they would be some fun ass figures to have matches with as a kid with imagination. I have the Vince McMahon with removable Suit coming Friday. I've always been curious about that figure and Vince is one of my favorite wrestling characters ever. I planned on waiting to get him as well to see if I really like BCAs and wanna start a mini side collection, but I liked the Droz so much that I went and grabbed a Rock/Owen 2 pack just now. Never had an Owen figure either. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a whole new collection haha http://instagram.com/p/Bp5ivUdgcRn

I still need that Austin for my collection but that same Droz hangs proudly on my wall. He was one of my favorites in the Attitude Era too.
This better turn into a whole new collection, haha. BCAs are awesome looking, especially MOC.

RybackV1 Congrats! You picked several good ones to start with. It still kind of amazes me that Jakks pulled off Droz's look with a "Marvelous" Marc Mero body. I wholeheartedly agree with @ballparkb0b . You can't just buy a couple and peace out on us. BCA figures are like Pringles. Don't stop.
