That Goldust with Vader arms will never not be funny. I've seen so many Goldust with Undertaker arms from the first series single carded figures I practically consider it a standard figure, but the variations in the Survivor Series box are the best.
I think the problem with Patterson and Brisco is that, no matter their on air time or significance, they were still just a couple of middle aged guys wearing normal clothes. That's not going to ever be a real draw to kids playing with toys. These days with the collectors market more fully realized and understood by toy companies, it's more possible to see these types of figures. The real omissions to me were Mean Street Posse. It seems like they could have fit in somewhere in some way, whether in 2-packs with more popular superstars or box set.

I feel like a dope today. I went to a place that I rarely go to because it's so far away. But the short story is I walked out with no BCA figures. And I'm regretting it now.
They only had a handful of BCAs unopened. They had a Series 2 Warrior that the card was in decent shape. They had a MIB Buried Alive set for $35. But the one thing I'm kicking myself over is I didn't purchase the Diesel Re-Release in the Series 3 packaging for $8.
Now back in the day I had Series 1 Diesel but the arm broke off like three months after I got it. Then I heard about the Diesel/Razor 2 pack that I never saw. Eventually a friend of mine bought the re-release Diesel at a Toys R Us and told me they had more in a dump bin but by the time I got to them they only had a few Series 3 guys left. Now I still have Series 1 Diesel on card and loose. But I always wanted that re-release unopened and today I had my chance I didn't get it. I have so much to do this week to get ready for our second kid that is coming...but part of me wants to take the hour trip to get that Diesel re-release.
When I get a chance I'll post pictures of some stuff they had. They also had two sterilite totes of loose figures and they were priced between $3-$8.

I've never known re-release Diesel to be a difficult find. I haven't decided yet if I should go back. The thing is it'll be at least $7 to ship the Diesel. I might look at some eBay auctions to see if there is a lot with it MOC. I got rid of a lot of my BCAs and I wouldn't mind owning a few more so maybe if the right lot shows up, I'll pull the trigger. |

It actually sat for a couple of days. I had it on my watch list (I have a $20 eBay gift card burning a hole in my account), but it's not as big of a want as some of the other things on my hunt list. Someone got themselves a complete steal.  |
