You mean most common version or a variant of it?

You mean most common version or a variant of it? There's one with regular arms and taker arms.

This is something I've been dying to do. Hopefully it is a worthy tribute to the line that pushed me towards where I am today!

I did another unboxing on Friday. Always fun to find out that the unboxing your doing has already been opened but at least the figures were still mint :/

Pillman is a cannon on the loose!!! Lawler: Woah!! I can't believe it JR!! Pillman's out of his mind! If anyone remembers me posting this WIP a few years ago I finally finished it and decided to paint instead of decal and I'm happy

Whatâs the consensus on best ring gear Austin? As I seem to always consider rebuying an Austin or Taker for nostalgia sakes, narrowing down the best Austin is tough. I always liked Bad Boys since that was his first one and have great memory of finding it. For Taker itâs either Series 1 or Series 7 or 8 with the better, more accurate mold.

My favorite was always the Superstars 4 "Bad Boys" like you because it was the first and most basic. The one they kept releasing with the Shamrock kickpads legs was strange to me. The one after that though, with the regular boots was really good. Idk why but my favorites were the ones with either the denim shorts or the ones wearing Jeans. I think the definitive street gear Austin was the Shotgun Saturday Night figure. For me, anyway.

I think the definitive street gear Austin was the Shotgun Saturday Night figure. For me, anyway. Austin from the Off The Mat 4-Pack is my favorite of all his BCA figures, and I think easily the most iconic of him in street gear. Shotgun Series 1 is an underrated choice; I'll jump on that bandwagon (if there's such a thing) as someone who prefers it to Signature Series 1 and others from late '97 with the solid blue colored jeans. As far as a definitive BCA Austin in ring gear, you can't get much better than 2 Tuff Series 5 with new legs made exclusively for him (with knee brace included!). Austin in ring gear from the Bad to the Bonz 3-Pack/Special Edition Series 4 with Sid body is one that I like because of how it fits in with the smaller BCA bodies, but I wouldn't throw that out there as one of his best. That's strictly a guilty pleasure of mine. "Bad Boys" Austin will always be a special release, but if I'm buying Austin with those parts, I want it to come with a "Austin 3:16" pleather vest like in the Badd Blood 4-Pack.

Some good choices for Austin figures from everyone, however I donât think we ever got a perfect ring gear Austin. The Bad Boys Austin was good, but I always hated the arms on it. As stated above, the Austin figures with the Ahmed/Shamrock legs were always a bit weird. The later Austin figures with the Hardcore Holly/Shamrock torso and the Austin legs with the short boots were cool, but he seemed a bit too big to me. I think the Sid torso that the first Austin figures used works best for him. That Sid torso is my favorite in the entire line because it works well for so many figures and customs. I think my perfect Austin would have the Sid torso and legs, with the arms that were used on the later Austin and Hardcore Holly figures. I know the boots arenât 100% accurate but I like those legs better than the thick Austin legs. ChicagoI have to agree with you about the Off the Matt Austin. Thatâs a great figure! BCA_Bawstud Pillman looks great!!

Finally! I remember my mom practically begging for me to get this at a flea market. She knows me well, she knew Iâd get home and want it lol! Ended up dropping $80 on it. That was probably about â04 or â05. I really liked the Warrior in that one....even though I opened the box and they were all super loose. Warrior looked like he was about to go two stepping! Bretâs arms were so tight, I donât think I ever moved them. Michaelâs was loose everywhere.

Signature Series 6 Austin is my personal favorite ring gear BCA figure of him. Yeah, the boots look off but the added touch of a knee brace and his vest make it the quintessential Austin BCA, in my opinion.
In terms of street gear Austin, Off the Mat/King of the Ring is easily my favorite one.
