I painted Shamrock's hands to look like MMA gloves. It's weird Jakks never bothered with any of his BCA figures. Bret is more of an experiment. It's an old beat up figure and I just wanted to see what he would look like with more accurate wrist tape and the outline on his singlet. Wow, those look great! Exactly what they should've been. Even though you said you painted Shamrock's hands, I still had to do a double (triple, quadruple...) take to be sure. They're that convincing. Nice touch-ups on Bret. Will you attempt to recreate the singlet logo?

I'm not up to speed on BCA's really, but I'm trying to get more into them. The Slammers, did the Kane have a longer glove/hand compared to the regular BCA's or am I imagining. I just compared mine up close (Slammers vs. Superstars 8 and/or 2 Tuff 4) and they're the same length as far as I can tell. Slammers Kane has hard plastic arms, whereas BCA Kane has arms made of the traditional soft, rubbery, flexible PVC-type material.

Thanks for doing that, I had a BCA Kane as my first Kane figure and I always remember the glove/hand being long but seeing that figure MOC it just looked bigger/longer. Cheers for comparing it for me, you live and learn.

It took me way longer than it should have just to paint Shamrock's hands lol I'm not up to speed on BCA's really, but I'm trying to get more into them. It's great that this thread is still going after all these years! It really should be tacked by now at the top of the Jakks section for how long its been going on for and how many pages it has.
But back to BCA talk!
Imagine if BCAs were out in January 1995?! We could have had Dean Douglas, Tatanka, Bam Bam Bigelow, Smoking Gunns, Marty Jannetty, Skip and Zip, Hakushi, Lex Luger, long haired British Bulldog, Mabel, Mo, Kama, IRS, red shirt Savio Vega, 123 Kid, and others. That would have been rather enjoyable being such a huge New Generation fan that I am.

So is this Superstars 8 Kane regular BCA or slammers? Series 8 is a regular BCA Kane. It's just like all of the two-sleeved BCA Kane figures (Fully Loaded, 2 Tuff 3, 2 Tuff 4 etc.), except the left arm is painted to look sleeveless. The only two-sleeved Slammers Kane can be found in Shotgun Series 2.

I think anyone that was a part of the late Hasbro, or especially Bend-Ems, era would've likely came up for discussion. Names like Lex Luger, Doink, 1-2-3 Kid, Mabel, Bulldog with long hair, Adam Bomb, possibly Randy Savage. Not to mention, like you said, tag teams and mid-card acts with managers, because we know Jakks began work on those within a year and a half of getting the license. By the way, just to add a little context, Jakks and WWF entered into a licensing agreement by late October '95.

It seems there is a 2 Tuff 5 variant of Jarrett One with short knee pads and one with longer ones Legs are also different, most people I know who I chat with about BCA's call them the "Fat Legs Jarrett" and "Skinny Legs Jarrett". Ive seen pretty much an equal amount of both over the past 20 years.

I wish the skin tones matched better so I probably won't be keeping it this way, but here is D-Lo with Fully Loaded series 1 Rock arms (removed tattoo) and purple wrist tape.

Does the 2 tuff tones match? Yes they match a lot closer. The difference is very minimal if at all. The reason I didn't go with those arms is because D'lo didnt wear arm bands or elbowpads.

I see what you mean about the color difference, but like therealworldchampion said, it's still better than D'Lo having Vader arms. Love that you added purple wrist tape in that shade. That's exactly what I would want for that figure. The Lethal Weapon w/shredded physique and accurate arms This is excellent. As good as DTA Tour 2 Blackman is, it pales in comparison to this usage of parts. HHH torso and Billy Gunn arms go great together.
