What BCA guy did anyone push when playing with that the WWE wasn't pushing at the time?? For me it was Edge, he was only a 1 time IC Champion in the real WWE in '99 and I already had him winning the WWE Title when playing with him in my federation. Probably just custom figures of guys I had created, especially one for myself, because normally I stayed pretty close to what was happening in the WWF at the time. I would almost always push new figures that I bought, but I think we already covered that biased part of our feds lol.

I used to push the following
Brian Pillman - was a big fan of him since WCW and he had major feuds with Undertaker and Shawn.
Headbangers - got a huge push and ended up in a huge feud with the Blackjacks

My original WWF the mainevent fued for a long time was between, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Triple H with Mr. McMahon. Eventually, I put the Rock into the title picture once I decided it was time for Steve Austin to drop the championship.

I guess you could say this still applies to the BCA line. I just bought the old steel cage accessory for the original 80s LJN Monster Ring and I'll finally be able to have it for my '96 Jakks Monster Ring. $21.50 shipped is more than I would like to have paid, but now I can cross this off my wants list. Actually, I saw one sold for over $30 about a week ago, so I never know when to look for a good deal on this thing.

Flash Funk was my world champion for some time. Him and HBK had some classic matches. Also X-Pac was one of my champs for awhile..and I used to do triple threats with him Bret and Rock. My most dominating tag team I put together was Val Venis and Billy Gunn no one could ever beat them. Although they did get beat a couple times for their titles by Sting and a Zorro action figure. This was the Zorro figure it was awesome he did a sweet ddt. cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/Chainmail-Zorro-6-Action-Figure-1997-Playmates-/170583614769?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b7936531

Oddly enough my most dominating tag team was the godwins. This lasted until i got the ecw dudley figures.
Al Snow had a good run as hardcore champion in my fig fed. He held the title for a year and a half. His run ended when i had Kane chockslam him from off the stage at my Backlash ppv. The next night on raw i had Kane surrender the hardcore title to vince.

I too had Billy Gunn and Val Venis as a tag team for a bit. But then they split and Billy went back with Roaddog as baby faces and Val tagged up with Test as a heel team. Those two teams did some serious battles! haha
Godwinns were my version of the Dudley Boys. Phineas could pick up a guy perfect like D-Von could do, and Henry had his one arm in a design that could give the cutter perfectly. I called the move "3G" instead of 3D.

Jakks did make a 2 Tuff Series 4 Billy and Val 2-pack, but who came up with the idea first?!?

Droz was amazingly dominant in my federation. Had an MMA gimmick that he had an unstoppable punch

Wasn't a feud or a push really, but I had one night where Vince said Taka Michinoku was getting a shot at the world champion (I believe it was Shawn Michaels at the time).
So the match started with HBK not taking anything seriously, but turned out to be an epic BCA match when Taka just kept one-upping him and nearly defeating him.

I never really used Taka that much in my fig fed. The biggest fued he had was against axel rotten in my fig fed.
I remember having a survivor series where it was team wwf (Austin,Rock,HHH,Undertaker) vs team ecw (Sandman,Steve corino,Justin credible,Shane Douglas). The final was HHH and Undertaker vs Shane Douglas. HHH then turned on the wwf and joined ecw when he hit the Undertaker in the back with a chair.
The biggest match they had was a 3 stages of hell match. 1st fall: Hardcore 2nd fall: steel cage 3rd fall: last man standing Triple H won.

Really? That's great to hear.
I spotted a few commercials/ads when I watched through all of Raw in '98 last year.
Unfortunately, the links will no longer work from my blog, but I'll try to see if I can find any substitutes for them.
If you remember any specific dates from those Raws, let me know.

I'm currently watching 98 at the moment. What I will do is skim back through and write the dates in the post with details of the advert. the tag team one had LOD figures being slammed in a locker door by the Headbangers and the Series 5/iron rung set had the same austin promo. Superstars Series 5 were advertised on 10/13/97 using the Austin promo 03/30/98 mankind was promoting Slammers 1 set

For as much as I love the entirety of the BCA line, I'd have to say that the first few series are among my favorites.
I think it's because the figures and the packaging itself has a certain New Generation-esque feel to it that has always appealed to me. Sure, I enjoy the Attitude era as much as anyone, but the pre-Attitude era holds a special place and I couldn't imagine the BCA line being as great as it is without having started in '96.
Plus, I always wanted to see the Tag Team and Managers series continue with those titles as opposed to being grouped together for 2 Tuff.
Please do share any photos you have, and that goes to everyone who frequents this thread.
