I always wondered why the Rock n Roll Express were never made during the bca line.I mean they were around for awhile during the NWA stable that Jim Cornette had going.I guess they were not around long enough.

I was just looking at my BCA Patriot this morning and I cant believe its the only action figure of Wilkes out there. hes extremely Toyetic with the mask, colors etc.......Im really hoping Mattel make him. I am not sure if you meant there was no other figure of him - at all - or not, but there is a Justoys Bend-em figure of him. I knew about the Bendy-I dont count them as Action Figures

Many, many names to list, and these aren't all of them (considering the '96 and '99 cut-offs): Jim Neidhart Terry Funk Bart Gunn Scott Taylor Tiger Ali Singh Steven Regal Jake Roberts Fake Diesel and Razor Furnas & LaFon The Bodydonnas The Quebecers The Rock 'n' Roll Express The Hardy Boyz The Blue Meanie Shawn Stasiak/Meat Gillberg Brakkus (Supposedly, he was rumored for a Slammers Series release) The Oddities (Giant Silva, Golga, and ICP) Los Boricuas (Jesus Castillo, Jose Estrada Jr., and Miguel Perez Jr.) Kaientai (Mens Teioh, Dick Togo, Shoichi Funaki, and Yamaguchi San) Mean Street Posse (Pete Gas, Rodney, and Joey Abs) Truth Commission (Sniper) Other Light Heavyweights (Pantera, Mr. Aguila, Great Sasuke, Scott Putski, etc) Mike Tyson & Don King Butterbean Ivory Tori Nicole Bass Ryan Shamrock Pat Patterson Gerald Brisco Michael Hayes Paul Ellering The Iron Sheik Michael Cole Kevin Kelly

Just to add to what chicago has already mentioned: Essa Rios Mideon Bubba Ray Dudley D-Von Dudley Spike Dudley Crash Holly Also, I can't remember if Lita or Trish had BCA's, but we can add those two to the list as well if they weren't represented.

There were a lot of rumors going around about a Tyson figure, and possibly a Managers-esque 2-pack with King, in connection with his appearances made on WWF TV in early '98. It would have been a one-time commemorative release, such as an exclusive, but again those were just rumors being thrown around for a while due to the success of the program. To add on to your response lol: -Essa Rios was formerly Mr. Aguila, hence why I didn't include him. Also, his debut as Essa Rios was much later (February 2000) and wouldn't have been considered for the BCA line. -Mideon was released as Phineas I. Godwinn, so that's why I didn't include the gimmick change in my list. -The Dudley Boyz debuted after the summer of 1999, so they wouldn't have been considered for the BCA line (you've got to think four-to-six months in advance). They did receive figures in the newer BCA line, specifically in the Road to WrestleMania Series, in the early 2000s, though. -Crash Holly debuted in August 1999, so I doubt he would've been considered either with the BCA line's demise in the fall of '99. However, the Backlash Series 5 (the final BCA series, for the record) Hardcore Holly figure mistakenly used Crash's photo on the picture insert, so I guess that might qualify...?

Yeah, Jeff did, but Matt didn't, and those were from the newer BCA line (as ellisd said).
Matt was supposed to have one, I think he was wearing all-black, but it was cancelled.

I was looking at some proto pics of the newer BCAs on the back of a box, and I noticed that they were originally going to have shoulder articulation (like on TTL and RA).

Hey Chicago,I have a question for you.
I seen that you have a newer bca style rock figure with a "just bring it" t-shirt that has a patriotic look to it. Which backlash series was in it and is it rare?

Anyone ever customize BCAs to current stars? Or any cool BCA customs worth sharing?

I remember being really excited for the newer BCA line, and then being kinda disappointed.

Are the 8-Ball and Skull figures both the exact same figures?

Pretty much, except Skull has a white t-shirt on underneath his vest.
