Ah, okay. That's what I figured. Is this the one that there was 20, 000 of or something? I remember seeing a sticker on the package to the retail SCSA WMXV figure for it. Is it either of these figures? If so, the first one is very common and worth about $2-3 at the most. The second one is a little harder to come by since it was a mail away exclusive, but it also doesn't go for that much (I would think $5-7). It looks like the second one, except with the logo from the first ones shirt.

I used to use the attitude ring for my fig fed. I also used a wcw ring that came with these LJN style figures.

The RSR with BCAs would make me feel like I'm playing an old Super Nintendo WWF game, where the ring is enormous so all the wrestlers could fit inside it haha.

Hah, I've used the RSR before when I started up a short-lived BCA figure fed in '08. It works surprisingly well, but the ring is wayyy too big. Hey guys, this is my first time on the bca thread here and i was wondering what ring you guys like to use the most with your bca's? ive been using the first hell in a cell playset that jakks released in 2006 and the scale of it for me is PERFECT! so what do you guys use for rings? As much as I love the Attitude and Hardcore Rings, the Monster Ring was always the standard for play when I was a kid. Same for my then-best friend who would bring his MR over my house when he'd stay the night. I'm sure the HIAC (or Elimination Chamber) playset ring would work just fine, but there is something special/unique about using BCA figures with the comparably-gargantuan Monster Ring. I honestly never thought about lowering the ring ropes on the Monster Ring until creating this thread, but it's a genius idea. The mat space is the main selling point of the MR, but better-scaled ropes and turnbuckles just puts it over the top for me.

Yeah, that's the one I used.
It's too bad Jakks never made an Attitude Era RSR (hell, I would have settled for WWE logos) with black cage pieces similar to the WM2 ring.
Edit: Oh, and by the way, there is a MIB Raw Is War Monster Ring on eBay ending tomorrow for under $18 shipped.
Just search for "1997 SEALED WWF RAW IS WAR JAKKS MONSTER RING WOW" and it should come up in the results.

Wow I didnt realize how many people used the monster ring. I think the reason I never used it was because when I started bca's at the age of 5 the monster ring had slowly faded out lol

When I started collecting BCA's back in 1996, the monster ring was the only ring available at the time in my area. I remember buying Stone Cold, Rocky Maivia, The Headbangers, The Godwinn's, along with the red, white and blue roped monster ring all in one day to start off my BCA collection.
Within a month I had already amassed a collection of nearly 20 figures. I was a lucky kid.

I got the Attitude Ring first, then tracked down the Monster Ring on TRU.com I think.
When I made my custom ring (Attitude posts in the Monster Ring) it was nice - good sized ring posts, some space on the apron for figures to stand during tag matches, and the Attitude cage fit on the Monster Ring when it was set up that way.
But yeah, the Monster Ring was a lot of fun. I had the black "RAW is WAR" one, but a buddy of mine had the old blue/white one. That one was always cool looking to me.

I think Mattel needs to release a ring that looks similar to the Raw is War monster ring. Those were some great looking stickers on that

Others such as the Best of 1997 Series 1 Bret and Raw Is War Series Undertaker are understandably higher priced. It's too bad the Superstars Series 1 Razor has a dislocated arm, especially since the earlier BCA figures are known for their problematic parts. It could be used for custom parts if you wanted to pop the head off and make a street gear Razor in jeans, for example.

i used the monster raw ring, i lowered the ropes though as i felt they were too high I remember lowering the ropes a few times. Seems as if I was never fully satisfied with my rings. I'd use the Monster Ring for awhile, then switch to the Attitude Ring, cause I thought it was better to scale. Then later I would miss using the Monster Ring and switch back. Another cool Monster Ring story I have: I used to use the old Hasbro ring and wrestle with my GI Joe figures in it. It worked great for them, but didn't have a cage. So once or twice, I used the Monster Ring with my GI Joes and pretended that the ropes were the cage. Sure the mat area was HUGE for GI Joes, but at least I had a makeshift idea for cages matches now. Not long after, I found a roll of chicken wire in my Grandpa's shop and cut it and made a cage out of it. It was awesome!

Thanks guys. I know i am going to get the thumb wrestler set and the series 1 Razor.I might end up getting everything.
I thought the series 3 Bret was 2 high but i wanted to make sure. The guy tried to tell me the series 3 Bret was the first Bret hart figure ever. I just acted like i did not hear him.

The guy tried to tell me the series 3 Bret was the first Bret hart figure ever. I just acted like i did not hear him. Haha, it's possible he just has no idea. But in a time like that, I would direct his attention to the back of Superstars 2 Owen's card and show him THAT Bret. It stands to reason that, since Superstars 2 came before Superstars 3, then the S3 Bret is NOT the first one ever made. But I would definitely go for some of those if I were looking for a mini collection. Best of 1997 Bret would definitely catch my eye at that price. As for the Monster Ring - anyone else ever turn it upside down for a HIAC-like environment?
