There's a local store near me that has BCA Brian Pillman. Mint condition but loose. I think it's the one that was in that military line or whatever that was called because it doesn't seem to have an action figure. Would it be worth getting for 6.99? I know it's a little over what BCAs are worth but he doesn't turn up often in good condition.

Though, if you really want it bad enough,a few extra dollars shouldn't get in your way. Does it come with all of the accessories/weapons?

I prefer the Slammers version even with the peg sticking out of his back because it's as close to a regular BCA Pillman as there ever was (at least from the waist down), and it was the most accurate depiction of his WWF attire until Mattel made the Legends Series 3 figure.

Does the slammers one have no red elbow and knee pads? That annoyed me about the stomp pillman.

The head looks more like Brian Pillman (if you can overlook the bleach blonde hair) than the S.T.O.M.P. Series 1 figure, which I often used as Gangrel back in the day. The tights are reminiscent of his 1997 WWF look with identical symbols on both sides of his tights and the red circle pattern between his thighs.

If I can find one of those MOC I'll probably pick it up since I'm a big pillman fan. Looks a lot better then the stomp one

Did I just stumble upon a BCA Series 2 Warrior Variant?? What does the rest of the figure look like? Are any of the other Warrior logos in all white (besides the boots)? Also, does it appear like it could have been customized (painted over, had the paint removed, etc.)? I would have to see more than just one case of it before I'd consider it a true variant rather than a custom or factory error figure. I don't think I've ever seen one like this, but I would most likely side with it being a factory error of some sort. Now I do know that there was a variation or factory error involving the facepaint. I've seen this one on some of mine and my brothers figures. Our parents ordered all of series 2 for each of us out of some catalog, and then we also got a few extras for Christmas that year. Warrior was one of them that we got extra, so we opened one and each kept one in package, and I remember the facepaint being slightly different. It was subtle, but the colors in the facepaint seemed to be darker shades on the 2nd Warriors we got. I would probably considered it a factory error or maybe just a slight change in how they painted it later in the run, more than an actual variant. The timing of the season couldn't be more perfect, because I just had the strangest thing happen to me. I was looking at various BCA figures from my loose collection and the thought crossed my mind that "I didn't remember this Warrior figure having an all-white logo on the back of its trunks". Instantly, I thought of Jack's post from two years ago. I proceeded to check the other loose Superstars Series 2 Warrior figure in my collection and discovered that I, too, had possibly been bit by the variant bug and never even knew it. It seems more and more likely that this figure is a legitimate variant, or at the very least we have evidence of a change made to a later run of Series 2 Warrior figures (as ellisd said). The most noticeable differences for me are the head (face paint colors are darker and crisper, and for some reason the skin tone and hair appears lighter on mine) and the trunks ( logo is smaller on the front, and obviously all-white on the back). The wrist bands and knee pads have the usual alternately sloppy Jakks painting, so it's tough to say whether or not the color/edging is intentionally different or not. I think the boots may be a darker shade of red, but not by much.

I liked them when they came out because of the fact that they were better then what we had at that time. The "bone crunching" was cool but didn't use it to much.
Not to mention the monster ring which was just that lol. I realized it was equivalent to the old LJN ring. All in all the BCA line was good for the time era.

Hi guys. Can anyone tell me what goes into swapping parts on BCA figures? I wanna try some customs but I'm not really sure what the joints are like on this inside. Would I have to split the torsos?

Yeah, you have to split to torso to switch out BCA parts. Thanks for the info. Same cracking methods as on Mattels work with BCAs?

Yeah, you have to split to torso to switch out BCA parts. Thanks for the info. Same cracking methods as on Mattels work with BCAs? I would think the Mattel methods would work alright with BCAs. You have to take the head off first because the peg is part of the torso. When I used to crack BCA torsos, I normally would look for a weak spot. Most BCA torsos have a spot that is slightly seperated, sometimes its on the side, sometimes its under the torso, sometimes its the peg itself. I would usually slide my hobby knife or small flat head screwdriver in the weak spot, then I would slide another flat head beside it and slowly walk them around the seam until you here it pop. Then try the same thing on the other side. Most of the time it worked, but there were a few times that it messed up the seam of the torso.

To celebrate my 10 years here at WF, I've put together a list of 10 of my favorite Jakks BCA error figures from pictures I've saved. I hope you enjoy them and here is to 10 more years with all of you. #10 – Razor and Diesel switch sides (no WCW pun intended) #9 – HBK screws Vader again #8 - Vader is up in arms over Owen's figure #7 - Bret slowly lifts fist, tears quad in the process #6 - Diesel takes Undertaker's spot on the card #5 - Goldust awakes from a shattered dream #4 - Razor took one too many knife-edge chops #3 - Undertaker gets buried six inches under #2 - Bret is always there to lend a helping hand #1 - There's just no topping this abomination of Jakks Quality Control

lol @ that list.
I miss going to the store and buying figures for $4.99.
The rising price of Mattel's figures is what got me out of collecting.
