I was sad to see them go,also back in the good old days when we had two major companies,we also had two figure sets that matched each other, toybiz and BCA. it was a re-run of galoob and hasbro, the invasions were great! much preferd them to the horrible TTL/RA/DA which i didnt collect.

BCA's were amazing. I remember finding part of a series in Walmart and waiting weeks for xpac. Before that, when the tag teams came out, found everyone but the new age outlaws. Waiting for them was so distracting as a kid, haha. This line was the best and I wish it had continued.

I always liked the Blue Blazer figure. I bought one a few years ago from a flea market for $2.00 loose with cape.
I always had a hard time finding the Livewire series. I remember going into K-Mart and finding a Dude Love figure with a chair. I can't remember if it was from the Livewire series or the DTA series.

My answers: Overall Favorite Figure - KB Exclusive Backlash Series 3 Triple H1. Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior 2. Tag Team Series 1 Legion of Doom 3. Slammers Series 2 Patriot 4. Signature Series 5 Al Snow 5. S.T.O.M.P. Series 1 Brian Pillman 6. Championship Title Series #1 4-pack 7. Superstars Series 3 Mankind 8. I don't know if she counts as a Manager, but the Grudge Match Series Luna is my favorite. 9. Raw Is War Monster Ring 10. Honestly? Probably the CTS#1 Rocky Maivia entrance gear. 11. Grapple Gear Dumpster 12. So tough to choose, but Jim Neidhart and Terry Funk are two that I would have wanted during the '97-'98 years. 13. Big Show in ring attire, or The Acolytes. 14. For my rebuilt collection, I still need Slammers Series 1, S.T.O.M.P. Series 2, and nearly all of Signature Series 1 and 2, S.T.O.M.P. Series 3, Raw Is War Series, and the Sunday Night Heat Series. 15. I do like the stands, but I would have rather had more wrestler-specific accessories from the earlier series. 16. Nearly all of them, but the Savio Vega/Sultan molds were atrocious for play. 17. Superstars Series 1 and 2 carding. 18. Yokozuna in red attire. 19. Ripped and Ruthless, but I was only ever interested in the Series 2 Kane figure. 20. The correlation between the BCA line and WWF's Attitude Era programming at the time.

Yeah, the Billy that was exclusive to the Fully Loaded 4-pack. I remember having a dream as a kid that my grandmother bought me all of these figures including a Billy Gunn in white trunks that I hadn't seen before. Turns out, Jakks ends up making one in the Grudge Match 2-pack with Ken Shamrock (a Superstars Series 8 re-release) a short time later. I never traded figures with friends, but we would get together and have huge WCW World War-esque battle royals with our figures and Monster Rings. And, who can forget, upside-down matches on those old Monster Rings lol. Thats awesome!!! I thought my brother and me were the only ones that did the upside-down matches in the Monster Rings. I did some custom BCA figures, I've sold most of my collection, but I think I have some pictures of some of my customs if anybody would be interested in seeing them.

I never did get a Monster ring. I only had the old Hasbro ring.
But I would flip it over and do battle royals that way.

I recall X-Pac being ridiculously hard to track down. I found the red one once (the version from Livewire). Any that were green/black/white were such a pain to get. I was only able to get one because of that Perfect 10 boxset.

I always had a soft spot for Steve Blackman's figure from the DTA or LiveWire series...can't remember what series, but it was the regular (playable) figure with no shirt. The Superstars figure wasn't bad, but you couldn't have a match with him.

I still remember the day i walked into KB and found all of series BCA series 1. Out of all the BCA's the hardest ones for me to find were the exclusives to like Target & Walmart. I wish they kept the maximum sweat line going to cause those were cool

I don't know how many times I went through some of the earlier series figures, but I do know that I had to have owned two or three of the Superstars Series 1 and/or 2 Undertaker as a kid. I remember going to the mall one day and buying a replacement long after the series first showed up in stores. In fact, I may have been checking for the RNR2 Kane that day and came up empty. There was a wrestling store that opened in my local mall sometime in 1999 when the wrestling boom was nearing its peak. I loved the layout of the store with figures adorning the walls and other merchandise displayed on racks; they never had any brand new products (far behind the Planet Wrestling I mentioned before, and even the local TRU), but I enjoyed walking in there and got to know the employees a little bit. I went to an Edge signing that July, which just so happened to be the first wrestler signing I ever attended. I couldn't believe how big he was in person at the time, and I do remember that someone asked him about losing the Intercontinental title to Jarrett the night before at a house show. Anyway, the store didn't last very long since it was more or less wrestling fans acquiring that particular spot in the mall and not turning much of a profit. I do love Slayknot's collection/display of BCA figures lol. There are quite a few Backlash series figures in there that I need (Boss Man with blue trim, Holly with pink trim, Austin with camo tanktop). The DTA Tour Series 2 Steve Blackman is also one of my favorites since his debut Superstars Series 6 figure was not easily playable. I swear, I could have lived off of a few more of those excellent Live Wire/DTA Tour/Sunday Night Heat repaint series. Live Wire Series 2 might take the cake, though, which also has the Superstars 7 X-Pac re-release that XZEROX is talking about. And Vader definitely could have used a larger mold, but by that point he was relegated to JTTS status in the WWF. Plenty of wrestlers could have used larger torsos, such as Val Venis, but others needed to lay off the juice *cough*BrianChristopher*cough*.

The only BCA figures i had trouble finding were Superstars series 7 X-Pac and Val Venius.
I remember going into a Meijers on Halloween night and finding the entire set of Superstars series 6. I always thought the Mark Henry figure was too big.

I never did get a Monster ring. I only had the old Hasbro ring. But I would flip it over and do battle royals that way. Before the BCA's came out, my brother and I used to wrestle with GI Joe and used the Hasbro ring. And we would flip it over and that would be our cage matches.

I remember in the late years of TTL going to KB toys and finding a BCA Diesel/Razor two pack but my mom wouldn't buy it for me.

I remember in the late years of TTL going to KB toys and finding a BCA Diesel/Razor two pack but my mom wouldn't buy it for me. And to think, that Razor/Diesel 2-pack might still have been worth a good amount of money during those days. It was, after all, the first ever Jakks Pacific WWF 2-pack, let alone the first exclusive figures/2-pack, back in 1996. It came after Superstars Series 1 was released, but before Series 2. Considering the WWF owned the rights to both characters, I've always wondered why the figures were never repainted again as the Fake Razor and Fake Diesel to get some use out of the molds. Razor in green and Diesel in his WrestleMania XII silver/black attire would have been possibly the only good thing to come out of that storyline. Everyone would have bought it since the original Razor and Diesel figures were so popular and hard to track down for a decent price in the late 90s.
