I added some plastic to HHH's neck so the mattel head sits higher without a gap. Break it down! Now I have a loose green Warrior. Oddly enough, this is the second one I have that came broken in the Survivor Series box. The hole on the bottom of the torso is so tight, that over time it snaps the peg of the crotch piece off. The first one was not repairable but this one was. I had to crack the torso, dremel the hole on the bottom bigger and thinner and then put it all back together.

That's really interesting about the Warrior -- I feel like I have seen them a lot loose and in tact. But it doesn't seem like it would matter if it was loose or in the box in terms of breaking? Maybe the way it's positioned in the box?

1999 Steiner pretty much done. I may opt for bigger superman logos.

I bought some KABOOM clamshell display packs for some of my favorite customs and loose BCAs. They fit most standard BCA figures, barring some exceptions like Yokozuna. They are super clear, keep the dust out and clasp together tightly and securely. You can stack them up for storage or hang them on the wall, but unfortunately they don't stand on their own. Good product, would recommend and would buy again.

Great work as always, BoneCrunchingCustoms. LOVE the upgrades to the NOD. The Rock is impeccable. That Ultimate Edition head looks so good, and the skin tone is just right. Closed fists Rock in all black is my favorite - maybe of all your customs so far. It's a shame Mattel doesn't have a great young Mark Henry likeness. A smiling head would go great with your Nation lineup. Have you thought about repainting the HHH head? I hate that flat dirty blonde color. I'd love to see Warrior with Series 3 screws added to the arms and legs. I never knew about the torso fitting around the peg so tight. Thanks for mentioning that. Steiner is A+. Somehow, both scrawny and brawny legs look good on him lol. I've always thought of Backlash X-Pac as a ready-made base for 1-2-3 Kid. The decals and head just top it off. Even though I'm not big on the Mattel Bret head, seeing it next to a BCA Bret head makes you realize how far we've come in terms of facial likeness and hair texture. Al Snow desperately needed those thicker Owen legs, and to think, they were right there if Jakks had only ventured out of their comfort zone every once in a while. Hogan is a helluva work in progress. It's funny how some torsos like the Off The Mat one for Steiner, and Sid's for Hogan, feel like they were almost made for those guys. I can't imagine them with anything else.

I can't imagine them with anything else. Thanks as always! NOD was such an integral part of WWF from 97-99 but the majority of the figures were just reused parts and lackluster imo. I tried to bring out the best in each of them. I completely agree with the Mark Henry comment. I tried the Mattel head but the skintone is a bad match and it sits real wonky. I hadnt thought about the HHH hair but that could certainly spruce it up. With having to crack Warrior's torso to repair it, I added some sponge inside the torso at the holes for the arms and it tightened them up alot. I did the same for an earlier Owen. I love how the 2003 Steiner turned out. The off the mat Austin torso really clashed with the thick legs so I opted for the HHH torso on the WCW version. It should look alot better when I get the bigger Superman decal. 123 Kid is the first thing I thought of when I saw that Backlash X-pac as well, especially considering he didnt have the DX logos on his tights. I still wanna make a more accurate red & black version to pair with Kane for their tag run. The bad BCA Bret sculpts and slumpy shoulders always bugged me. I really like how using Owen's torso improves Bret's look both in terms of physique and the pink trim. Jakks was certainly stuck in their ways when it came to using odd part choices. The Owen legs are perfect for Al and the Bret legs they used earlier for Hardcore Holly were a much better fit for him. Hogan is coming along. I still need to paint his arms and maybe add some height to his neck so there isnt a gap there. Though not a perfect match, I'm surprised how well the new ultimate edition Hollywood Hogan skintone matches the Sid torso.

Your arm swaps do wonders for the BCAs. Jakks rarely had a happy medium-they would either put arm pads on guys who didn't wear them or not put arm pads on at all with guys who did.
I wonder what the problem was with doing Faarooq's outfit correctly. Both his releases had a blue stripe rather than green. They made it correctly for D'Lo and Kama but not Faarooq.

I had one but I uncarded it Dude, how are you doing? Good man I just made a post on fb I'll copy and paste it it's really great news. So I was debating posting this. But I can not keep the good news to myself any longer. Today I had an appointment with my oncologist and I'm happy to report The cancer is no longer detectable. I still have to finish out the last two cycles of chemo but she said when she looked at my scans now you'd never know I had it to begin with. While this is good news and move in the right direction. She didn't say remission or cancer free. She said the chemo is working better than she anticipated. I still have a long road to a full recovery. (colon surgery, rehabbing my drop foot, removing my gallbladder and finishing up chemo to name a few) However we're on the road to remission. That's exactly where I wanna be.
