Man, if you could get Vince to sign that, you would be SET. I guess outside of or within the lobby of a hotel would be your best shot, but good luck with that. Did you have these signed in person? If so, did any of the wrestlers have anything to say about the older figures lol? All of my signed items were done in person. Sid and Bret loved that set and as I said, I got Bearer a Buried Alive set for him to have.

I tried collecting all of the Jakks BCA "Grudge Matches," but since they were not listed on the back of the card, it was hard to keep up with all of them. If you'd like close ups of any, just let me know Very nice, but you are missing a few: -Marc Mero vs. Steve Blackman on red/orange carding with WWF scratch logo -HHH vs. Shawn Michaels on WMXV carding -Road Dogg Jesse James vs. Al Snow on WMXV carding -Ken Shamrock vs. B.A. Billy Gunn on SummerSlam 1999 carding -Big Show vs. Mankind on SummerSlam 1999 carding Hope you get around to finishing off those 2-packs. Where do you find the place to store all of your MOC figures?

I have waterproof storage bins, stacked on top of each other in my basement. I packed them very well, no dust or damage to the cards.

My favorite set that I own is the King of the Ring 1999 Breakdown set. Its got D'Lo Brown and Droz's first figures (I believe). Its also got a Mankind figure with the dress shirt, socko and removable mask. Finally, its got an awesome Goldust figure, complete with entrance robe. My all-time favorite figures are the original series 3-4. Those figures were awesome for the time. My favorites especially were Ahmed Johnson and The British Bulldog from series 3 and Jerry Lawler from series 4.

If you'd like close ups of any, just let me know Top from left to right Taka/Brian Christopher: seemed to be a self warmer at KB Sable/Luna Vachon: only saw one or two of these in stores in person Vader/Mark Henry HHH/Owen Hart Shawn Michaels (White Pants)/Stone Cold Middle Row left to Right Vince/Austin WM 15: This Austin had a new head mold, not the original from series 5. It is also a new Vince mold, both head and body Al Snow/Mankind: never saw another one of these after I purchased it Austin/Rock X-Pac/Jeff Jarrett: the Jarrett figure is a poor repaint of an Owen Hart Figure Hardcore Holly/Al Snow Bottom 2 Kane/Undertaker Dan Severn/Ken Shamrock: Real shelf warmer Nice Grudge Match collection there man! My favs have to be the Austin/McMahon & Undertaker/Kane, classic feuds there. Does anybody have collection pics to share, I would love to see them! I may post mine in a couple of days.

why wasn't an LOD Droz ever made? They obviously had plenty of time to do it, since he started doing the gimmick in mid 98 and it lasted until the first few months of 99. Seems like it would have been a fairly easy release.. LOD 2000 Hawk legs, Droz torso and head (paint aps already in place, even if the tape was innaccurate). Droz head with new paint ap of face paint. Add in the LOD 2000 spikes and helmet and it's a solid Superstars Series release, or even a two (or three) pack with Animal (and/or Hawk). It seems a bit silly that they'd just flat out choose not to update him. They clearly had enough time in the line, since Gangrel & Christian debuted around the same time he did as an LOD 2000 member. In September, Bob Holly still had long hair and was wearing Midnight Express tights still. Droz was in LOD 2000 gear. So how'd we end up with an updated Bob Holly but not LOD 2000 Droz?
Or a Big Show, when he didn't debut until almost 5 months later?

To assist your questioning, Vince McMahon made his wrestling debut in the 1999 Royal Rumble, at number 2. Droz, in LOD 2000 gear (at the tail end of the gimmick) was number 3 or 4 or so. why'd a wrestling gear Vince get made, but not Droz, when Droz had his gear and gimmick some 6 months before Vince? Sure, Vince was a much bigger star, but star power rarely seemed to matter in the BCA line, one of the things that made it great

I think there should have been a grudge 2 pack of Droz and D'Lo Brown with an accessory... that accessory being... a wheel chair. There, I said it. I am such a heel.

my favorite accessories were the ladder and casket. i always had ladder matches, fun stuff.
i used to make the majority of my accessories so i never really wanted store bought ones with a few excepted. i brought back the rage in the cage to wallmart after seeing how roughly done the cage was in comparison to the one my dad had created.

Even more confusing than Droz is Tiger Ali Singh. He signed with WWF in very late 1996, debuted in 1997, was pushed really hard through 1998, 1999, and into 2000, and even at the start of 2001. There's really no logical reason why we never got a Tiger Ali Singh BCA and really, a TTL too. both real scan and non realscan..

Or a Big Show, when he didn't debut until almost 5 months later? Droz's debut figure from the Break Down In Your House series was released in May 1999. It was definitely behind schedule and clearly not a priority for Jakks at the time. Bob Holly with short hair, along with Gangrel/Christian/Big Show's debut figures, from Superstars Series 9 came out in August 1999. I think Vince's first ring gear figure was from the Grudge Match 2-pack with Austin which was released in February 1999. I know that Paul Wight/Big Show was rushed in order to have it ready by the end of summer. He met with Jakks at the Toy Fair event earlier in the year to begin work on his sculpt as soon as possible. Vince had appeared in wrestling gear prior to his Royal Rumble win from what I remember, so I'm sure it was planned well in advance. I don't know why they waited so long for Droz because I've seen his name rumored in other series from around that time. The only other BCA figure of his is from the Deadly Games series (aka Shotgun Series 3) and that was a re-issue two months after (July 1999) his debut figure hit stores.

He was rumored for a late summer/early fall 1999 release (in either Superstars Series 9 or 2 Tuff Series 5, or both), but I don't think Jakks ever had plans at any point to make him or Babu lol. As for a D'Lo/Droz 2-pack, it could have happened. D'Lo/Val was scheduled for 2 Tuff Series 4 (released in June 1999, right between Droz's two figures from May and July), but D'Lo was eventually replaced by Billy Gunn. Had Val been removed from the equation, I'd bet D'Lo/Droz probably would have ended up being re-releases of their Break Down series figures released a month earlier. I know, not what many would have wanted, but it's just Jakks being Jakks.
