BCA was a great time for weapons.. all the weapons were correctly painted, and painted entirely..
Ironic since the figures were $5 each then.. and at the end of the CS line, for $13 each, they weren't painting weapons at all. Jakks released so many unpainted weapons that looked like trash during the RA era, that when painted correctly, looked great. the all red leafblower, the Bushwhackers unpainted food, and even unpainted tables. Which looks better, a table painted to look legitimately wood, or one that is just brown molded plastic? A trash can that's painted with rust/dirt and such, like a real trash can, or one molded in plain gray. not even silver like it was new..

I actually use mine for storage of smaller weapons. Does anyone have any questions about the BCA line that maybe haven't been asked yet?
I want to know if there's something we haven't touched on or skipped over so that we can keep the discussion going. [/b] What are your favorite molds in terms of accuracy, and the worst? My worst would be the Ahmed legs for Rock/Austin/HHH at the end.

Heres one for you all, Why is my Golddust Green? Only the rubber arms/legs, torso is fine and looks gold Thanks for any answers ;D I remember one of my Goldust figures looking kinda greenish. I think mine turned that way over time, gave him a tarnished gold look lol.

My worst would be the Ahmed legs for Rock/Austin/HHH at the end. [/quote] Austin and HHH I can understand, but I think they actually work with Rock's figures. There weren't really other molds that would fit with a large upper body and in-ring gear, so I have no problem with the decision made there to use Ahmed's legs. I generally prefer the smaller parts from early on in the BCA line because they were easier to play and didn't feel as bulky in your hands. Diesel's figure is excellent from top-to-bottom. I like any figure with wider spacing between their thighs, so that pretty much rules out Savio Vega, The Sultan, and several of the Managers/Ringside series figures. Number one figure that I would change in a heartbeat is Brian Christopher since Jakks royally (no pun intended) screwed up his sculpt. I love Billy Gunn's lower body, as well as Razor/Sid's because it is perfect for smaller figures with trunks. Ultimate Warrior/British Bulldog sculpts have always been favorites of mine since they seem authentic with each. I absolutely love "Marvelous" Marc Mero's figure; it is such an immense upgrade from his freakish Managers series figure. Any of the Series 7/9 Undertaker figures are among his best EVER produced, in my opinion. I need to do some more reviews, but I don't know many BCA figures that can top Luna's lone Grudge Match series figure. Oh, and while I enjoy their appearance, any of the larger sculpts like Gangrel/Christian or Corporate Mankind don't do a lot for me. I do kind of like D'Lo's repaint with the Vader body; I mean, at least it stands out from his generic 2 Tuff Series 2 figure. Yokozuna is an exception for me because even though the size is massive compared to other BCAs, it couldn't be any more perfect. I could go on and on. The S.T.O.M.P. series figures also make for good jobbers, but that's not necessarily an endorsement of their sculpts lol. I actually use mine for storage of smaller weapons. Does anyone have any questions about the BCA line that maybe haven't been asked yet? I want to know if there's something we haven't touched on or skipped over so that we can keep the discussion going. Why did the superstars series end at 6. Do you mean Series 9? They almost ended after Series 5, but it was brought back in time for the fall of 1998 with Series 6 through Series 9's release in August of 1999. Simply put, Jakks had decided to phase out the BCA line and its figures in favor of the new Titan Tron Live concept that debuted later in the fall of 1999. It was all planned well in advance, so that's why the end of the summer brought the last new names to the BCA line (like Godfather from the Road Rage Series). It's unfortunate looking back on it now, but Jakks was progressing and needed to evolve in order to keep up with their competitors and the arrival of the new millenium. I always like to think of BCA figures as being purely 90s products, and I wouldn't have wanted Jakks to continue unless it was with full dedication to the quality and spirit of the line as in its heyday.

I like the D'lo with the vader body more then his 2 tuff figure.
I also used the stomp series as jobbers for my fig fed.
I am really thinking of picking up the missing bcas for my collection and continue on with my fig fed.

I never had that one, but I do remember my Vader having wobbly limbs. So it's probably all figures with that mold were susceptible to it.

Anyone ever find/buy any error card BCA figures?
I've tried to document as many as I've seen on eBay in the past year or so for my blog, but I haven't seen any lately. It seems like there were a lot in the first few series.

Thinking of it now, I don't know if I've ever even seen a proper "War Zone" JR in person.

I had a series 2 BCA Shawn Michaels, UK release, it had a dislocated leg (metal pin was loose from leg/torso).
At the time i was obviously gutted, it was a christmas present and was the first moc bca i ever received... and it was broken, i felt bitter towards bca's after that.
It came with the Undertaker figure, both boxed figures were sold together in a plain white cardboard box, heavy duty but perfectly shaped to fit two moc bca figures, side by side. It also had the words BCA and the wrestlerrs names printed on the outside of the white box. I bet it would be worth quite a few pounds/dollars if kept in that box and not opened, especially with the printed detail on the outer box.
Obviously i took it back to the store 'argos in the UK', and swapped it for a non broken version. Being a collector of hasbros and rareties, i can imagine that what i have described above is a very thought after piece.
* Dislocated joint moc figure * UK release * Outer box
I wish i could go back 14 years and keep hold of that little baby!

Did anyone have a BCA you could just never find? Mine would be Blue Blazer and the 2 tuff pack of the New Age Outlaws. I ended up with the Signature Series Gunn in Blue and a Road Dogg in a white shirt, I forget the series.
