How annoyed was everyone about the Jakks Rings they gave us to start with? The 2 LJN rings with figures that weren't as tall as the ring ropes?? .... Not annoyed; I enjoyed the extra space for battle royals, and the nonexistent scale of the ring to BCA figures never concerned me as a kid. Even now, I realize that the ropes can be adjusted if the height of the ring posts is a problem for some people. Clearly, though, the Attitude Ring was made for BCA figures, and it is better scaled to them. The Hardcore Ring improved upon that concept, and the Real Scale Ring became the best ring period for the last third of the Jakks license. I never would have expected Jakks to come out with a ring of their own back in '96, but I do wonder if they had considered it at one point or another.

I actually just put the short posts in the monster ring. Short posts, but a huge ring with lots of play space Same here. Attitude posts and Monster ring Turnbuckles/ropes. There was plenty of in-ring space, apron space for tag matches, and the Attitude Ring cage fit perfectly (even better than it would on the Attitude Ring itself) on the Monster Ring when it was set up that way.

I too was a fan of the Monster ring and used it even for my RA figures too. Clearly it didn't bounce like those spring loaded rings, but that's what I liked about it. My friend had a spring loaded ring and I tried using it once and I hated it. The Monster ring was, is, and always will be the perfect ring for figures.

Back when I couldn't have cared less about the condition of my figures (as long as they didn't break), I would play a game that I can only describe as somewhat destructive but enthralling for some reason as a kid.
I sat a certain distance away (usually across the room) from where the ring was set up and would toss the figures into the ring one at a time. It was all to see who could last the longest without being knocked off the ring apron/ropes by their fellow competitors lol.
Really an awful concept, but having the Shawn Michaels (circa the 1995 Royal Rumble) "skinning the cat" moment with defenseless BCA figures as they hung on for dear life was fun.
Reminds me of the time my Superstars Series 3 Mankind lost an arm from an inexplicable seesaw ride on the old backyard playset; I guess I could refer to that on IR as "range of motion sickness."

my BCA Shane McMahon and Test bit their deaths when Shane gave Test an elbow drop out of a legitimate 2 story window, with nothing but concrete and a single WCW table with a piece of scotch tape on the bottom to catch them. Took a day before me and my friend even found part of the table. It didn't even slow Shane down before he hit the concrete and exploded into six pieces. Test lost an arm and his head.

I had the head pop off the Slammer series Bret Hart during a match. It was ok because i was looking for a way to write him out of my storylines for awhile.
Did anyone here use a red marker or red paint on there figures?I never did.I still remember there was a kid i went to school with that painted his series 3 bulldog red and he painted his series 3 bret hart black.

I used washable markers on my LJN figures. I would put red on their foreheads if they got 'busted open' or I would put face paint on some of them too since there was green, purple, pink and other colours in the set. But I never did that with the BCA figures. I guess I had a more PG rated BCA fed than I did with my LJNs haha

My BCA fig fed was TV 14. I never used paint or markers on my figures i would just act like the wrestler was busted open.
Did anyone here ever have any unresolved feuds in there fig fed?
I was building up to Shane Douglas vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for the wwf title. Sadly that match or ppv never happened. Makes me want to get out what's left of my BCA collection and pick up my storylines where i left off.

I'm not sure if I had any unresolved storylines, expect (BCA Sig Series) Steve Austin Vs. (OSFTM) Bill Goldberg Vs.(OSFTM) TAZ but it was because Goldberg basically fell apart after a while. Then I removed him from the story and Steve Austin and Taz had a match for the WWF Championship. I do believe Steve Austin won and that was the end of the feud. Later on, I got a toy biz Goldberg and I believe I had a few matches with those three again but it was just a few rematches there was no real storyline like the first fued.

during hype to a Buried Alive match (I had a heat vent in my bedroom that went no where and doubled perfectly for a buried alive pit), Undertaker tossed Big Show into the pit. Unfortunately, I misjudged the size of the hole compared to Big Show's figure, and the fact he was a bigger figure than all the other figures, and the result was a decapitation. It took him off the show later that day as he headed to my dad's wrestler hospital. He was replaced by Mike Awesome, who defeated Undertaker with an Awesome Bomb into the pit through about 5 tables. When Big Show was repaired, he moved on to a new feud, since Taker was "dead". By the time Taker returned, the feud was completely forgotten.
Henry Godwinn and Owen Hart had a ridiculously long feud that had to be stopped because both figures were falling apart. All started because of a dangerous chair shot from Owen that knocked Henry's arm clean off. Owen then ran Henry over with my friend's sister's Barbie car. Owen's head got knocked off at some point. Henry's leg came off during a scaffold match. It was a rough feud

Anyway, Jeez did it ever end with a match.. in the ring? haha

The only other feud besides the Shane Douglas vs Stone Cold Steve Austin that never got resolved in my fig fed was Lance Storm vs Billy Gunn for the I.C. title. It all started with the New Age Outlaws vs the Impact Players for the wwf tag team titles.NAO won the match and Justin Credible turned his back on Lance Storm.Lance then joined the singles rank and won almost every title except for the I.C and wwf title.During an i.c title match (X-Pac vs Lance Storm) Billy Gunn came down and hit Storm in the head with the belt behind the refs back. The next week X-Pac was injured during a match and he had to give up the i.c. title. There was a tournament to crown a new champ and Billy Gunn won.Lance then challenged Billy to a match. Which led to a rematch and before i knew it they were on there 8th match. For 5 straight ppvs Lance Storm vs Billy Gunn was on the card. The feud ended one day when my sister said i was to old to play with wrestling figures (I was 12 at the time).

I was building up to Shane Douglas vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for the wwf title. Sadly that match or ppv never happened. Makes me want to get out what's left of my BCA collection and pick up my storylines where i left off. I'm sure I had some unresolved feuds, but can't remember all of them. When I stopped playing with my BCA's I was heading into a 'New Era' I had slowly started to retire some of my older BCA's and were bring up some newer top guys. I had just brought in a custom Chris Jericho and he had won the WWF title. Edge (the blue Backlash version) and X-Pac (a custom version, were I had carved off his tank top) were 2 of the most 'over' up and comers in my fed. They had a match together a couple of months earlier that was really well, and I distinctly remember them doing the double cross body spot in this match. Their characters were slightly different than their real life counterparts, but close to the same. I was building up to a huge Triple Threat WWF Title match at WrestleMania. Jericho vs Edge vs XPac, I never decided which one, but either Edge or XPac were going over and were gonna be the new face of the company. I've always wanted to go back and have a reunion show, and have the title match that never happened. Unfortunately I sold most of my BCA's about a year before this thread started and brought back my love for the figs. Looking back on it, Edge's participation at WrestleMania was always one of my favorite matches each year. I was going for a slow build up for him cause I like that figure soo much and knew I was going to bringing him up into the title picture. I wish I had kept that one. His first Mania was against Gangrel, they were both rookies at the time and the WWF had decided to take a chance on them opening the show. It was a great back and forth match with Edge coming out on top. The next year he wrestled former Intercontinental Champ Jeff Jarrett. It was another great match, and I remember even having my commentators making a big deal about Edge's Mania debut from the year before, talking about good he did starting the show and how he had gotten even better through the next year. Then the next year was when I was building to Jericho vs XPac vs Edge match. I think I've mentioned earlier on this board how I was trying to make alot of my favorite BCA's on SVR 2006. I'm thinking about going back and having my reunion show on there. Maybe picking up some of my old feuds. I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but haven't had time since we moved into our house. Maybe I'll get back to it soon.

My newest acquisition, King of the Iron Rungs Bret Hart - The figure is in mint condition (guess the guy had just opened the box set and I got the Bret out of it) and is a nice addition to my Bret Hart collection. A pic of him and his Superstars Series 1 counterpart about to square off - And finally, one of the Hitman collection (not all BCA, but hey, I gotta show off a little!) as it is today. All I'm after now is a good loose Superstars 2 Bret, and possibly one from the two-pack with Owen (although those are hard to come by, I've noticed). I have the Slammers one someplace, which I hope to find when I go through my BCAs one day.

What about the Best of '97 Series 1 Bret?
I mean, it's only the Superstars Series 1 figure without glasses and a sleeveless pleather "Hart Foundation" jacket (err...vest), but I think it would look great with your existing collection.

Ahh yes, I forgot about that one. Wouldn't be bad to have, actually. I'm mainly after the attires being different (which is why I'm not after CS6 or the IE Hart Foundation WM7RA figures, since the CSTT one with Yoko and CSDA7 are basically the same attires as those figures). So, like you say, the BO97 one is basically the same as Superstars Series 1... ...but the head with no glasses and the jacket on it might be a cool looking touch to warrant another BCA Bret down the line

I never owned it but that Backlash 3 Edge is great, reminds me of the RA one that was released in blue.
I personally used to own Series 7

Maybe your luck finding one will be better than mine. I've only seen one or two pop up on ebay or classifieds that are good prices, but they are usually beat up pretty bad.
