I guess this figure is a blatant rip off of the JAKKS Ric Flair exclusive figure...But they should look as to how they looked when they were inducted...And what's Mattels deal? They must really like that attire...Superfly was pretty famous for being a barefoot wrestler...So...Put him out with bare feet!! I guess the EG Shawn Michaels is a blatant rip off of CSS 1 Shawn Michaels too then.

Lets see, who was it in that thread that kept saying that the HOF series was just going to be rereleases and not repaints? Who was it that said that it would probably just be a sticker or small package change when everyone kept saying "Oh no, Its Mattel, they wont do that. We'll get Steamboat in white and Rhodes in his NWA attire" Yea who were those people?? (Hint it was PJ and I) Who cares? Besides Mattel is still better than Jakks.

Anyway, I will get Snuka and Funk and pass on both in Legends 2. I may get one of the others from Legends 1. I want to see how they are repackaged. If one catches my eye, as a MOC collector, it will be mine.

I'll just get Snuka, Sarge & Steamboat...but I knew that's what they'd be. Although the added gold base & plaque is a nice touch. Too bad Iron Sheik did't get a HoF figure seeing he's in the HoF also.
I'm sure we'll see a barefoot Snuka at some point especially seeing were getting a barefooted Kevin Von Erich. I'd love to see a barefoot Snuka in a 2-Pack with a Magnificent Muraco. That would be a dream set come true for me.
As it is I'm on the fence about that KMart Steel cage set. I think $45 is too much for it, but I really want the cage to display Snuka on...and if I had a Mattel Murcao to display with it that would rock.

Yes, the same way Jakks blatantly ripped off Hasbro by making a Million Dollar Championship belt for their Ted DiBiase figure. Give me a break, a HOF plaque is just as much an accessory as anything else is. I'd bet money Mattel would have made these variants with or without the exclusive Flair figure. 2. Jakks Flair wasn't in his HOF attire. Why should these be? How well would a Jimmy Snuka, Terry Funk, or Dusty Rhodes in a suit sell? Sure it SOUNDS great, but then you see 21 of them warming pegs and think "Oh..." 3.. Really? This is the first Superfly they've made, they just chose his long tights so people like you wouldn't cry that they're "ripping teh jakkz off!11!" by doing him in his short tights and barefoot first. Same reason Dusty was in his polka dots and Slaughter in his blue pants/white shirt attire. They're releasing Legends two-packs and I'm sure somewhere down the line we'll see a re-paint.Maybe Snuka vs. Magnificent Muraco? I'm talking about age wise...No in a suit...Like Flair was in a current attire. And no, the Shawn Michaels that Mattel released was a lot better than the one Jakks released so to you.

I wonder if each wrestler has their own unique plaque. Would Snuka have the same one as Funk?

Dusty went in within the last few years. Maybe It was the year Mr Perfect went in or the year prior, but it was televised on USA that year

I was at the one in Detroit in 2007 when Dusty was inducted. He even became an honorary 4-Horseman for the night.

Like a stretcher, a stop sign, a fire hydrant, and chairs. Mattel isn't ripping them off, they're improving on them.

im sorry if ppl get mad at this comment but this series is a waste.
1. The Plaque is cardboard (most likely) 2. It's just re-releases of Legends figures in the same packaging just with a new Nameplate, plaque, Gold Stand and a HOF logo on the packaging 3. Not a fan of the snuka figure either so I'm definitely not gonna get this.

I like the look of the packaging. Might grab a few just for display

The look of the packaging is cool, but the fact the plaque is cardboard, just ruins the figure IMO. Had it been plastic like the ones Jakks made, well that would be awesome.
