Just for fun......name your VERY first mattel figure. Since first means one.....please only post one.
Mine was Basic 1 Evan Bourne. He was the only one on my TRU shelf about 2 weeks before the official release date.

Series 1 Triple H last Nov from a trade with roosta. First I found in the states were Series 1 HHH, Big Show, Batista & a 1/1000 Cean late Dec at TRU.

The first ever Mattel I found was Triple H in TRU on December 16th... which made me go nuts in the isle. When I calmed down, I looked a bit more and saw an Evan Bourne which I also grabbed.

First Mattel I found was Bourne but I did not buy it. It was around late December. The first one I bought was Elite CM Punk or Kofi 1/1000. Not sure which one was it

Let's see... I believe that it was Series 0/Signature Series Chris Jericho. Found during the week between Christmas and New Year's at an out-of-the-way TRU.
