I have about 40 LJN figures. I was a little kid when they came out, so I reilied completely on family buying them for me. My mom loaded up on figures for me when Titan went bankrupt, because she told me they would get marked down to like $3 at KB or my favorite toy store of all time, Children's Palace. I still have all of them today, plus several thumb wrestlers, & a few bendies. My trend now-a-days is to try & get them autographed if a legend is in my area. I've got Bundy, Jake Roberts, & Hillbilly Jim signed. I could of got my Hogan signed, but because I was an idiot I left him in my basement when I went to meet Hogan.

I have a complete loose set of LJN's. I love them. They not only have some of the only figures currently of wrestlers, but they also remind me of my childhood. For a long time I was missing the rare ones, until a met a Canadian contact who sold me his collection about seven years ago. I love these figure. I hope Jakks does good with thier version of LJN's coming out.

"thestuff" that is an awesome collection. Especially the black carded series. I'm still searching for a Haku, Warlord, and Red Shirt Hogan, but it will probably be a bit easier to do because mine are loose. I noticed that some of the bubbles have turned yellow. is that happening over time while you have them stored, or did you get them like that? I've noticed quite a few on ebay that are really yellow and the glue seems to be coming off. I always thought that maybe they were stored near a window and the sun did it, or possible smoke from a smokers home.

For some reason the bubbles really look yellow in the pictures but in person up close they are not that bad Thanks for your comments vandutch

Nice collection! Those bring back memories...
I remember getting that blassie for christmas & the months that i searched for that elizabeth figure & never found it. I still remember the day i bought the first hogan figure from series one & was pissed because it didn't stay in position & snapped back to that goofy pose. Here i was,a dopey kid expecting a fully poseable figure to do cool wrestling moves & all you get is a hogan looking like he lost his horse.
toys sucked back in the day.......

Hey guys, No Spam is a great seller I acquired most of my black carded '89 figures you see in the pics from him. You will not be disappointed if you bid on his items He is absolutely one of the best people I have ever dealt with in the collecting world. That's just my two cents ;D

If you have any doubt about the popularity of LJN, check eBay. The prices are still very high for the rarer figures, and even the accessories. I'm missing about 5 or 6 loose, but am most proud of my moc. Out of about 3,000-4,000 total figures from all brands, these ten are among my most favorite. The Volkoff, Sheik (who is even unpunched), and Bruno are all signed, but the crown jewels to me are Haku (because I waited years to get the figure and actually acquired both that one and a loose one within a months time this year) and the carded Dynamite Kid, of which I've only seen one or two other examples of. I had the chance to get Davey carded as well, also for only $50, but I was an idiot and passed on it. I also have the boxed Hillbilly and Hogan set. The Liz and Dynamite were actually formerly owned by the Steamboat family. Ricky's ex-wife Bonnie and Ricky Jr. were selling a lot of their memorabilia, which Bonnie said they bought during all the years on the road. -J\/\/

great collection JWLJN. I can't believe the price of Haku on ebay. For now I'll just work on Red Shirt Hogan and Warlord. They sell for cheaper. Haku will be my final piece.

I'm excited to see those new version LJN's as well. People haven't been talking to kindly about them though. I'll have to see one out of the package to make up my mind.
