Ever? I dunno, that's tough. The most recent one that comes to mind is Alpha Protocol.

I agree with Mole in that I can't decide what the worst ever would be but in recent years the worst I've played is Soldier of Fortune Payback.

JAWS for NES was pretty much crud.
I remember getting this really lame game for the PS2 for free once. I can't remember the name of it, but I remember playing it with my friend and just laughing at how absurdly bad the gameplay was. The graphics kept breaking and the storyline made absolutely no sense. After about an hour of laughing our asses off at how bad it was, we moved on to a better game.
I went to Gamestop about a week later with the game, figuring I'd get a dollar or two. Ended up getting $14 for it. Pretty much made my day.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing But to be fair, I played it simply BECAUSE it is well known to be the worst game ever developed. It's easy to call out E.T. or Superman or 2600 Pac-Man, but I think the worst game I ever played that was a serious title that just made some horrible design decisions was the original TMNT or the original X-Men games on the NES.

I'm sure I've played worse but I can't remember. But rocket power beach bandits was awful. I bought it impulsively a few years ago and it was pretty bad.

UT3 really was only for fans of that franchise. Nobody else could enjoy it. ESPECIALLY if all they did was play it on the 360. That game was ruined for the 360.
