Hi again, folks! "Mean" Gene Okerlund here with a very important UPDATE! As those of you who watched WrestleFest: August HEAT know, many things went down on the PPV! First, there is little to report in the case involving Jack Tunney! Officials have just learned that President Tunney is still alive, however, not much else is known at this time! We will have a full report later in the week, as right now details are still far and few! Man its good to have you back bro, lovin your arena, your interviews are beyond great, i speically loved harleys. nice opening tag match, great to see the rockers, im realy digging the panther partol, teddy long needs in on it though, lol
love the russian stable, nice ivan custom as well, Do we see a Hogan and Nikita match in the near future?? That masked man again with Dibiase, ive wondered who that was forever!!!!
Loved the Dibiase segment man, great stuff there, a little out of the ring, cant wait for part 2, will comment that as well

Thanks for stealing the SummerSizzle name!  Awesome Race and Hogan promos. Those were very tight and very solid. Decent tag match. Wish there was a false tag. Sweet Flag Match. I really dug it. You used both sides the way they should be and you made some awesome work with the Russians! Sweet Time machine segment. All very, very interesting! You definitely left us wanting more! Solid work! |

One of my "UPDATE with Gene Okerlund" used that name weeks ago, I didn't see it if someone used it before then. I did notice someone use it over the last few days, but wasn't going to comment... The tag match wasn't great good, OK it pretty much stunk. My pic fedding is rusty, cut me some slack! ;D Once I began that particular match, I was wishing I hadn't, lol. You've got one of the nicest presentations around. One of the things I love though, is that you don't just rely on that, you have great story telling and commentary as well as good matches and interviews. Kudos.

Pros
- your presentation is always a plus. you have an awesome arena, and the comic book format is great as well.
- for the most part, the posing was very well done, and the flow of each match was great
- your commentary and dialog is very well written!
Cons
-you stole the Summer Sizzle name! tirva had that name way before you, some time in June. but hey, i hijack logos from google all the time for my events, so who am i to talk? lol
-some of the posing was meh, but you are just warming up after a hiatus.
Overall, this was a good show, and i look forward to seeing you build momentum. good luck! =) |

A Summer Sizzle vs. Summer Sizzler argument? Really? Seriously? Might as well make it an inter-fed match while you're at it guys... winner keeps the name or something, otherwise it looks pretty kiddish to be fighting over something like that... BTW, your whole Time Machine storyline is awesome, adds a totally different feel to your Fed. George reminds me of X-Men's Beast or something like that. Watching the good old 80's wrestlers swinging down the bat poles was priceless too.  |

It was just a throwaway line from Gene Okerlund that I decided to keep...maybe there was some subliminal thing going on, lol...I can change it to a regular SNME, I almost did, then thought back to Gene's line. If tirva really wants me to, I'll change it, no problems from me. I'm still waiting for people to comment on how George actually got smarter...any ideas? Wars |

If it makes yall feel any better, not paying attention to anything in my press conference I refer to my Summer tour as the Summer Sizzler tour LOL.....Its just something that a lot of old schools got in their head I think since WWF always used that for SummerSlam. I will be renaming mine as well though so no worries

One way or the other, both you guys have awesome fed shows going on right now, keep up the awesome work, we enjoy being entertained. Hey, you can still use the HOF ring from the future idea, just imagine past Hogan versus present Hogan, who would refuse to put the other over? How would past Hogan explain to himself that in the future, Andre seems to have weight more when he lifted him?  |

Great open...Love the set up having J.R. and Harley beam right in to interupt. I can't wait to see Race vs Hogan for the TWA World Heavyweight Championship!
The Panther Patrol...Love the name, very well thought of, and great to see the Rockers in WF! The Panthers are just monsters, innovative moves and bringing the brutality, will anyone be able to stop those two?
The Bolsheviks...What a stable Ivan Koloff, Nikita Koloff, Boris Zukov and Nikolai Volkoff. Great Paul Jones as well!
Nikita crushes Sarge, my goodness, I've never seen Sarge take a beating like that and the Bolsheviks I'm sure will now have every American superstar in WF gunning for them.
Batpoles hahaha tremedous and poor Captain Lou, he never really did figure out the whole co-ordination thing. Time travelling machine?? Oh I don't think I like what DiBiase has up his sleeve here. And who is this silent partner??
As always Wars, you've got me hooked I can't wait for Part 2...WF is off to an amazing start!

wow! I hardly comment in these pic threads but your fed blows me away!!! The comic book style is so fitting, the pics are bright and focused, the environment moves with each new panel, and the commentary is sharp - I can literally hear Vince, Jesse and the others in my head while reading! I haven't finished the whole show yet but I had to come on and say that this is probably the best fed I've ever viewed. You've got a new fan!

Dude your show is awesome. I love the comic look. that is soo sweet. Like I kinda want to learn how to do that. Cause it makes your fed a million times better then any other pic fed. Love the Ted Dibiase thing. with Dr. Doom. All of that is so awesome.
