I just hate it that half this set is current TNA roster guys.
If they are determined to put current TNA guys in the Legends line, I wish they would have them as:
2 current TNA names in debut/classic attire 2 NJPW names 4 NWA names
With 8 figures per set.

I do recall during the CS era, an off-brand toy company made an Andre in yellow trunks (WM 2) and a black singlet Andre. This was the same company to make the Happy Days figures a few years back. Two different companies, actually three, if you count the Andre Bobblehead. It has something to do with his licensing deal, there's a loophole somewhere.

I completely understand Jakks reasoning with Hardy, AJ and Joe. Honestly I would rather have these versions of Joe and AJ then the cheaper RI counter parts anyway. With that said, Ive been saying for quite some time now about how I wanted a Terry Taylor figure and I finally get it. Not only that but the scan is absolutely spot on and PERFECT. Hopefully someone has some use for UFC figs and Mattel Figures cause Im going to be updated a classifieds post very soon. Imma need some money Also to "Sting", I dont think we'll see Steamboat anytime soon since he works for the WWE. Von Erichs and Savage could be possibilities but I would venture to guess that Mattel/Jakks were probably smart enough to sign them to exclusive contracts knowing how in demand they were from Jakks

It would be nice though.

I do believe I will be keeping my original WWE JAKKS BCA Corny instead of this buying this one. It's a better looking figure, and in scale!

Most probably won't like my opinion but I am glad to be seeing more old school TNA RA figures in the Legends line. Kurt and Nash were an amazing start in series 1 and now we got Joe, AJ, and Hardy? I would have died to get an RA TNA Hardy back in 2004-2005 and now we finally got on. The early TNA RA collection will live on!!! *goes to find ECW3 Marcus Cor Von*

I'nm just alittle confused about the andre figure. from what I can tell is that this is a "young" andre figure, but I thought we already got one from cs7 which was a great figure. is this new one from a different era(more younger?) if anybody can let me know I'd greatly appreciate it. either way I'm still getting this figure to go with my other ones as well.

I'm surprised they didn't just add another Sting. The demand for him is so high they most likely would sell in back to back sets.

I just hate it that half this set is current TNA roster guys. Two-thirds, technically.

I like the Jim Cornette & Terry Taylor figures a lot. I'm sure TNA fans will be glad to have a Samoa Joe figure that isn't completely out of scale with every other Jakks figure made

This looks to be more Andre in his early 20s where CS7 looks more like right before he got his hair cut.

I thought that Terry Taylor was Barry Windham before I saw the name next to him. Same here.

I forgot Jakks was even still around. I'll pick these up when they're reduced to 1.00 at TRU after they've been sittin on the shelf for 4 years.

This is why I started collecting Jakks in the first place. Great set. Please go back to Ruthless style. This +1000..... Look, if it takes three non-legends in the line, for marketability purposes, to get three actual legends, then you won't hear me complain. Seriously, do you guys actually think a lineup with Cornette and Taylor as the in-demand names would work? A lot of the younger guys in this thread only want Joe, Jeff Hardy and Styles. Whatever it takes to get me some honest to goodness NWA legends. Taylor looks awesome, by the way. And Calcifer Boheme is right -- Cornette has to have his racket. Cornette does need his racket... but why are you people fussing about AJ, Joe, and Jeff Hardy in the TNA line? All three of them have been World Champion more times than Roddy Piper, Tully Blanchard, Zeus, Bastion Booger, and the Shockmaster put together (which is still 0, by the way), and all of them had figures in the CS line. As far as which ones I'll get.. I'll be picking up AJ, Joe, Taylor, Cornette, and possiby Hardy as well. I may get Andre too, to make a Giant Baba custom. AWESOME set, Jakks.. good mix of the people that are easy to make that we figured would be in (Joe, AJ), and then surprises that we're stoked for (Taylor, Cornette)! Keep it up, and I'll keep spending my money!

I'm really happy we're getting an RA Samoa Joe in his short tights. I've wanted an RA style figure of him since I first saw him in ROH. My only problem with the figure is those big kick pads. The shorter kickpads (on both him and AJ) would have looked a lot better IMO.
