Just want to pass that it has been reported that Gen Scandar Akbar has passed at the age of 75. R.I.P. to a legendary Manager.

Just saw that on the WWE board, not that most on that board would actually know who Scandar Akbar is.. Better to have the post on here.

Another great star from my childhood gone. I loved his character from Dallas to Oklahoma back to Dallas. World Class ,UWF,and Global he and his various Devastation Inc formations were some of the best examples of heel manager/factions this side of the Horsermen or Heenan Family.RIP Skandor ,you will be missed and your work was first rate.

Loved Devastation Inc. He was one of the best of all time, very sad indeed.
Thinking of him also just keeps reminding me why we need managers today.

I hated this guy. Then I realized it was his job to get people to hate him, and he did a damn good job of it.
I was fortunate enough to meet him a few years ago at an autograph show. I wanted to ask him some questions, but he was talking up a storm with Gary Hart at the moment & I didn't want to interrupt them.
Very nice guy, and his penmanship was very old fashioned.
Rest easy, General. Thank you for making me hate you (even though I was a dumb little kid at the time).
