-A good realistic start to Bragging Rights, Ziggler over Bryan slightly surprises me, though I agree with the call either way. -Confused as to why Nexus would interfere in the Unified Tag Team Title match, I predict to make their presence known. Either that or their wants for the tag titles. Hope to see a rematch tomorrow night. -Melina and Gail Kim winning was definitely expected to have it even going into the final 7 on 7 matchup. -Barrett over Cena was in my mind, expected to create some interest in something new. Looking forward to seeing how you build the Nexus and this big storyline. -Edge winning the World Heavyweight Title is great, expecting somewhat a Casket Match or something between Kane/Undertaker. -Team RAW winning is good. A huge comeback here, and this sets up The Miz/HHH due to Miz angry at him hogging the win. -I think a great timing for The Miz to cash-in. Great contreversy, man. Was not expecting it. -Good PPV; the ending gave it a nice bang, and sets up some interesting feuds throughout the rest of this diary. Keep it up.

- Alright; Bragging Rights. Big card for such an event you have here. - Good opening contest to get the crowd pumped up; surprised, but much pleased, to see Ziggler win. - Haha, Nexus beating the crap out of people yet again. To be honest, it's quite repetitive - but at least it was different guys. - "I hope not..." Hmm. What's that supposed to mean from Trips? Quite curious - it could be a good or bad thing. - Melina and Kim picking up the victory over Laycool I am fine with. Don't really care for the match; like that Beth returned, too. - Holy ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) . Even though I figured it would happen, Cena losing is huge. I do wonder what you will do with him; probably to Smackdown? - Interesting little pep talk with Team Raw backstage. Like the tweenerness of Punk towards Miz and Trips as well. - I really enjoyed this match up; Undertaker making that appearance is huge. Glad Taker/Kane won't be over the gold anymore. - Nice elimination Team Raw vs Team SD match; surprised you made it the main event though. But it makes sense in a way, though, as you do have the WWE Champion and a bunch of bitterness within the teammates. Team Raw winning is for the best. - Expected Sheamus to go after Trips, continuing their long-extending feud. Yes! Yes! Miz wins! Miz wins! Awesome end to the show! A really good show overall, a lot of things to look forward to now.

WWE Bragging Rights: Sunday 24th October 2010...Alright, I'm shocked to see Primo defeat R-Truth, but I am impressed. One thing I do think could have been done for a nice touch is if the dark match was also interpromotional, basically to get the crowd hyped up for the RAW vs SmackDown effect the show has. Dolph Ziggler beating Daniel Bryan is a good move to say the least, very pleased to see Ziggler win, as he lost all three of the matches in October to Daniel Bryan I do believe. I feel the WWE Intercontinental Champion vs WWE United States Champion match should have been higher on the card though, especially with the finish to the next match. The Nexus destroying MVP and Mark Henry & The Usos was probably the best way to go about it, but should have opened the show. Knew it would just be the case of this match being the weakest on the card, but this has been done on other pay-per-views, sort of the exact same thing going on here. Could have had Wade Barrett's promo lead on into facing John Cena alternatively. Melina and Gail Kim beating Laycool is good. I like Laycool, but glad to see someone other than Michelle McCool and Layla get a win for once. Beth Phoenix's return is alright I guess, could be a little too early though. Loved Wade Barrett banishing John Cena from RAW just like what really happened, just hope you avoid Cena being sly about it and finding loopholes. Also loved how Cena did manage to fight off the Nexus before coming up short. Interesting what David Otunga was doing though. Liked the moment with Cena leaving and the Team RAW locker room in awe before bursting into tension. CM Punk potentially chasing the WWE Championship could be nice. Just with his current hair and look, it seems uncredible to see Punk credibly take on Triple H. At a time like this, it's time for Punk to experiment as a face again. Edge winning the World Heavyweight Championship was nice, but really should have main evented. It's bizarre why it didn't. Great main event tag team match with RAW getting even on SmackDown after last year, great. The Miz cashing in sets up two or three different scenarios: Miz vs Punk, Miz vs HHH, and where does Barrett go from here? Not to mention the still-packed main event scene on RAW. A decent show, but the two WWE big Championships changing hands and the ordering of the show was a bit bizarre. Nice booking however, I suppose.

Good choice for a opener between Ziggler/Bryan. Not much interest in the tag title contest, but I would think the Nexus are going to be champions pretty soon. Barrett/Cena outcome isn’t surprising but I hope you keep Cena off television for a long time considering the stipulation, which the WWE didn’t do in real life. A big win for Barrett and hopefully this leads to a WWE World Championship run. Just thought of this, this might mean Cena is going to Smackdown. Edge winning the championship is something I approve. Kane had a decent little run. Taker/Kane feud is alright, just hope that Taker wins and moves on to something else. I enjoyed the main event and the aftermath with Miz getting a sneaky win on HHH. A lengthy feud between Miz and HHH could be really fun to read. That has caught my interest. Not a bad pay per view.

![](http://i53.tinypic.com/ka45si.jpg) | Monday Night Raw - October 25th, 2010 – Green Bay, Wisconsin | ![](http://i55.tinypic.com/20i82lg.jpg) Zack Ryder defeated. Darren Young Ezekiel Jackson defeated. William Regal |
✮Before Raw opens up, we see a quick recap of what happened last night at WWE Bragging Rights. We see Team Raw winning the 7-on-7 Elimination match, followed by The Miz cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and defeating Triple H to become the NEW WWE Champion. We then kick off the show.
CUE OPENING PACKAGE!
✮The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as we are greeted by Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. To the left of them, we see the WWE Bragging Rights trophy, but now it has the Raw logo on it. They tell us that tonight, we will see John Cena’s Farewell Speech, and John Morrison will take on Chris Jericho in our Main Event! Cole barely even introduces the show before mentioning The Miz’s Championship victory last night. He says that the ‘Era of Awesome’ has begun, and it has a very bright future. King rolls his eyes as Michael Cole continues to go on about the victory. Cole’s excitement level increases as the theme of the WWE Champion himself, The Miz hits the arena. He cockily walks out onto the stage to a lot of heat, followed by his protégé, Alex Riley. Both of whom are wearing suits and looking very formal. Miz slings his WWE Championship over his shoulder before entering the ring, grabbing a microphone and beginning to speak to the WWE Universe.
✮He begins to speak as the boos die down, and simply says “I am the WWE Champion!”, restarting all the heat. He says that last night, at Bragging Rights, the face of Raw was changed for the better, as he dethroned Triple H and became the new WWE Champion. He claims that it was his destiny to become WWE Champion, and from now on, he will take control of Monday Night Raw as the ‘Era of Awesome’ unfolds. He says that many people have been saying that he ‘got lucky’ but he begs to differ. He tells the production team to replay the clip, and we see it on the titantron as The Miz hits the Skull-Crushing Finale on Triple H and pins him for the three count. Jerry Lawler says on commentary that he cut out what happened before when Sheamus delivered a Brogue Kick to The Game. Michael Cole tells him to shut up and stop ruining Miz’s moment with false facts. The Miz goes to continue, but instead, the crowd give a huge pop as the theme of CM Punk hits the arena, confusing many. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone, ready to speak.
✮The Miz asks him what the hell he thinks he is doing, interrupting his celebration speech. CM Punk laughs, stroking his beard, before saying “Congratulations, Miz”, further confusing everyone. Punk says that last night, he told him that he had no right to brag since all he had done was win the Money in the Bank, and he hadn’t won any World Titles, and that must have lit a fire underneath him. Miz says it had nothing to do with Punk as to whether he cashed in or not, and that he had it planned already. Punk says regardless of whether it was anything to do with him, Miz still has nothing to show. The crowd cheer as Miz looks confused, showing him the WWE Championship. Punk says that if it wasn’t for Sheamus, The Miz wouldn’t be Champion right now, mentioning how he cleverly avoided showing that on the clip. Miz says that Sheamus didn’t do anything, and that he won the WWE Championship by himself. Punk shakes his head and tells The Miz that he won’t be a true Champion until he defeats someone fair and square with the title on the line. Punk then drops a bombshell, saying that The Miz can have that chance tonight, by putting the WWE Championship on the line – against CM Punk! The crowd erupt, but The Miz shakes his head, trying to get out of the situation. Suddenly, the Anonymous General Manager sends in an e-mail as Michael Cole steps up to his podium. Cole reads “And I quote - gentlemen, there shall be NO WWE Championship match tonight.” The crowd boo as The Miz looks relieved. CM Punk shakes his head and asks why. Cole continues to read, “The Miz won the WWE Championship fair and square, under the rules of the Money in the Bank contract. CM Punk, if you wish to receive a WWE Championship match, then you will have to earn it. But that can come in the next few weeks. However, if you wish to be in action tonight, then I’ll make a match for later on. It will be CM Punk taking on Alex Riley!” The crowd cheer as Punk has a smirk on his face. The Miz and Alex Riley leave the ring as Punk’s theme plays through the arena. That match will be later tonight as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
✮We return to see the WWE Tag Team Champion, MVP and Mark Henry already in the ring, ready to compete. However, before their opponents can enter, the Anonymous General Manager send in an e-mail. Michael Cole reads “And I quote – I understand you two were prepared to take on The Usos tonight in a rematch from last night. But I’ve made a slight adjustment to this contest, and have replaced your opponents… enjoy!” Suddenly, the theme of The Nexus hits to a huge amount of heat. The duo of Justin Gabriel and David Otunga make their way to the ring, grinning, while MVP and Mark Henry show their anger. The match then gets underway.
WWE Tag Team Championships – David Otunga & Justin Gabriel defeat. MVP & Mark Henry [C] After last night’s attack, MVP and Henry wanted some revenge, but unfortunately, they couldn’t get it. After Justin Gabriel dropkicked the knees of the World’s Strongest Man, taking him off the apron, David Otunga planted MVP with The Verdict, taking the victory. The Nexus celebrate their WWE Tag Team Championship victory as we fade backstage.
✮The rest of The Nexus are shown backstage to a lot of heat, watching Gabriel and Otunga win the WWE Tag Team Championships. Barrett smirks and says that life is just getting better for The Nexus. First they get rid of John Cena, now they win the WWE Tag Team Championships, and soon enough, he will be WWE Champion. Heath Slater mentions that tonight, John Cena will have his Farewell Speech. Barrett nods his head and says he knows, and that he thinks The Nexus should give him a nice send-off, with a sadistic grin across his face. The rest of The Nexus chuckle as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE Survivor Series, airing on November 21st, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Primo with Rosa Mendes defeats. R-Truth Primo seems to be going under a more cocky persona. The match was close, but it came to a close when Primo hit the Backstabber on R-Truth. Primo celebrated with Rosa as we fade backstage.
✮Josh Mathews is backstage in the parking lot apparently awaiting the arrival of the former WWE Champion, Triple H. He tells us that he is expected to be here tonight to address the WWE Universe and Sheamus. We then fade back to ringside.
✮We are taken to the commentary desk where Michael Cole says that we will get an update on Triple H’s arrival later on. Lawler says that there is no doubt Triple H will want a piece of Sheamus. Cole says “Thanks for stating the obvious, King”. And King tells him that he is really getting on his nerves lately, and wishes they could have JR back. Cole laughs and says JR has nothing on him and that he is the new ‘Voice of the WWE’. King tells him to keep dreaming as we have our next match.
Melina defeats. Jillian Just a quick divas match here. Melina gets the victory following the Sunset Spliy. She celebrates the victory as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
✮We return to see the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan standing in the ring to a huge pop. He speaks to the WWE Universe, saying that last night, he lost to SmackDown’s Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler, and he can accept that. But what he can’t accept is that Ziggler only ever wins thanks to Vickie Guerrero. He says that Vickie played a vital role last night, and cost him the match. Daniel Bryan then gets straight to the point and says that he is issuing a challenge, for Survivor Series. He says that he wants a rematch with Dolph Ziggler, and he promises that this time, he will win! Bryan tells Ziggler to give his response this Friday on SmackDown, he’ll be watching. Bryan drops the microphone and leaves as we see a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for this Friday on SmackDown. It advertises that The Undertaker will return and confront Kane. We then return to Raw.
CM Punk defeats. Alex Riley with The Miz The Miz took a seat on commentary for this one and Michael Cole loved it while King looked extremely annoyed. Alex Riley put up a decent fight, but in the end, CM Punk managed to connect with the Go To Sleep for the victory. Afterwards, The Miz tried to slip in for a sneak attack, but Punk saw him and delivered a huge roundhouse kick, knocking him out of the ring. Miz and Riley barely escaped as Punk was ready to take them on. We then fade backstage.
✮Randy Orton is seen backstage to a massive pop. He is interrupted by Drew McIntyre who gets some heat. McIntyre tells Orton that last night in the Main Event; he was totally disregarded as a member of Team Raw. He says that all the focus was on the other guys while he got nothing, so he wants to make a name for himself here on Raw. He challenges Randy Orton to a match, next week on Raw. Orton tells him he’ll see him next week as the crowd pop. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
✮We return to see Josh Mathews once again in the parking lot, still awaiting the arrival of Triple H. Suddenly, Chris Jericho walks onto the scene and demands that Josh Mathews conduct an interview with him right now. Mathews has no choice but to accept, and thinks up some questions on the spot. He asks Chris Jericho what his issue is with John Morrison. Jericho says that Morrison is a punk who thinks just because he’s athletic, he’s the best. Jericho says that he is the best in the world at what he does, and Morrison isn’t even in the same league. He says that tonight, he’s going to beat Morrison and show him exactly why that is true. Jericho storms off, and suddenly, we see a car pull up in the parking lot to a huge pop. Mathews runs over to it and as expected, Triple H steps out, looking extremely frustrated. Mathews asks him if he is here after Sheamus or The Miz. Triple H looks at him and says the WWE Championship is something he can get back whenever he feels like it, but Sheamus is an issue that needs to be taken care of – now! He pulls out a sledgehammer from his car and the WWE Universe erupt. However, the cheers suddenly turn to boos as Sheamus delivers a massive Brogue Kick out of nowhere. He takes Triple H to the floor with a smirk on his face and then says “You gotta learn to watch your back, fella”. He walks off as Josh Mathews calls for some help. We then fade to ringside.
John Morrison defeats. Chris Jericho via Disqualification This feud is definitely growing by the week. These two are becoming mortal enemies, and this match shows it. Both men show their in-ring ability, but when John Morrison has the advantage on the outside, Jericho shoves him away and then cracks him with a steel chair, forcing the referee to ring the bell. Jericho screams that John Morrison isn’t better than him and then locks in the Walls of Jericho on the outside. Referees rush to break the hold but Jericho won’t let go. They eventually pull him off and they tend to Morrison. Jericho celebrates as we fade backstage.
✮We see John Cena walking down a corridor on his way to the ring. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
✮The theme of John Cena hits to a huge pop. He comes out, looking a bit upset and not as active as usual. He enters the ring and then begins to speak to the WWE Universe. He says that last night, he fought with all he had, gave it everything in his power, but it seems that it wasn’t enough to defeat The Nexus. He says that even though Wade Barrett has to cheat and use the rest of The Nexus to win, he did it, and he is a man of his word, which means that he must leave Raw for good. The crowd boo but Cena shrugs his shoulders because he can’t do anything about it. He says that he has had some amazing times on Raw, and it is most definitely his home. It’s the place he won his countless WWE Championships, competed in tons of high caliber matches, but now it must all come to an end. Before he can continue any further, the theme of The Nexus hits to a ton of heat. Cena hangs his head as all seven members make their way to the ring. They enter the ring and surround Cena, all with grins on their faces. Their theme fades and John Cena says “What more can you do to me? There is nothing left for you here”. Barrett chuckles and speaks into his own microphone, saying “Cena, we’re simply here to say goodbye. It’s been a pleasure tearing you to bits week after week”. He crowd boo and Cena shakes his head. Cena then goes for Barrett, but Barrett quickly says “Woah, woah, woah! Calm down, John. Just remember, you’re officially uncontracted. You touch me, and I’ll have you sued for everything you’re worth”. Cena knows full well that Barrett is right and pulls back. The Nexus then leave an opening for Cena to leave the ring in a mocking manner. Cena reluctantly takes the chance and leaves the ring. He walks up the ramp and stops at the top. The Nexus sarcastically applaud Cena as he leaves. Cena gives them one final ‘You Can’t See Me’ taunt and then raises his hands to a huge ovation from the WWE Universe. Cena then leaves the stage – for good.

First off, the layout to this is fantastic. I've made a similar RAW logo to the one you're using for my diary I'm planning so I'm gonna have to re-think that one. Punk/Miz will happen sooner or later, I'm guessing. Punk vs. Riley makes sense. Not really bothered at Gabriel and Otunga winning the belts, I suppose Otunga is a better partner than Slater, in my opinion. Quite like the pairing of Primo and Rosa Mendes. A Primo push is not something we see regularly in a diary. Wouldn't mind a Jillian push, to be honest. She's highly underrated. Punk going over Riley was the only way that match should have ended. McIntyre/Orton sounds good. Would love for McIntyre to go over. Triple H/Sheamus feud should conclude at Survivor Series and with Triple H going over. Solid main event, nice to see JoMo there. Nice closing segment. I can see Cena heading to SmackDown now, or else taking some time off before returning to RAW and feuding with Barrett and the rest of the Nexus. Good stuff.

-I love that CM Punk is back face, his heel turn was good, but wore off rapidly. -Nexus, or some of Nexus winning the Unified Tag Team Titles makes sense. Liked Slater there though, either way makes sense. -This R-Truth/Primo feud really downs Truth, but I like the push for Primo. -Bryan/Ziggler at Survivor Series is good. Could be a RAW/SD team but that just happened at SS, that makes the idea good then. Looking forward to that. -CM Punk over Alex Riley was expected, hope his face turns brings him far. -HHH/Sheamus feud looks to end at SS. Hope to see a gimmicky match though. -Morrison over Jericho is fine here, could build him up majorly here, as it'd do more wonders on his career. -Sucks to see Cena off RAW, but hope this means Word Life on SD. -Good show; good fallout, SS looks to be good.

EWRESTLINGNEWS.COM Reported by Ryan Clark
Randy Orton Injured? According to information received earlier today, Randy Orton is suffering from some minor pain in his left shoulder, and has been for the past few months. While there are no plans for him to have time off, it is expected that his workload will be cut so that he can rest up his injury while still appearing on Raw. This appears to be the reason why he wasn't in a match this past Monday, and it is expected that he will enter a lower card feud with Drew McIntyre in the coming weeks.
Raw Superstar set for a push. The dark match of WWE Bragging Rights this past Sunday saw Primo defeat R-Truth, in Primo's first victory in a few months. Then, this past Monday on Raw, Primo once again defeated R-Truth, but this time, live on Raw. It is expected that Primo will be receiving a small push on Raw in the coming weeks in hopes of retaining his relevance on the brand. Rosa Mendes appears to have been called in as his manager, and with Divas now appearing on both brands whenever they feel like it, the combination can go ahead without any roster confusions.
CM Punk's babyface turn. A few weeks ago, CM Punk interrupted a segment including The Miz. This sparked interest from the WWE Universe and raised questions about whether or not CM Punk was turning face. With Bragging Rights out of the way, it seems like CM Punk has indeed fully turned and is now a babyface. Plans are made for CM Punk to feud with The Miz over the WWE Championship for the time being, possibly through Survivor Series and into WWE: TLC. With this babyface turn, it seems that the 'Straight Edge' gimmick has been dropped back in a similar fashion to when CM Punk debuted with the WWE back in 2006.
The Anonymous General Manager is... Rumours surrounding the identity of the Anonymous General Manager have become more apparent recently. While the WWE are giving absolutely no hints whatsoever, a few names have been cropping up a lot. Michael Cole is obviously the main name brought to the table, but while it seems possible, there are things which don't quite add up. Shawn Michaels is another name which keeps coming up, but Michaels has stated that he has no interest in returning to the company for a full time job, which would likely be required once the GM is revealed. It is unknown as to when this information will be revealed, but many feel that the story has run its course and really needs to a come to an end.
WWE NXT Season Three. Tonight, the premiere episode of WWE NXT Season Three will air, featuring Rookies such as Richie Steamboat, Brett DiBiase and Mason Ryan. The voting system will apparently be the same as the last Season, with the votes coming from 50% WWE Pros, 50% Public Vote.

- CM Punk being a full-on face now is a nice switch up. I love his character either way; he'll beat Riley tonight. - I'm just fine with Gabriel and Otunga taking away the tag team gold - I never did like Henry/MVP as the champs. - Surprising victory for Primo - seeing your news report, I'm meh on the idea of a push; he just isn't that cut out for me. - Blah. Diva's action. Melina winning is obviously the right call as Jillian truly is nothing but a looker. Minus the face. - Hm. I do like the idea of a rematch between Daniel and Ziggler; shall be interesting to see what comes of it. - As it could be obviously predicted, CM Punk beats Alex Riley. Like the roundhouse kick touch after the match. - Very believable segment with Triple H. Like that Jericho wanted the spotlight, and I could picture the sledgehammer, the frustration, and the almighty brogue kick from the Celtic Warrior. I do hope this settles within the next couple months. - Morrison getting the win via disqualification is alright with me. Expecting more from him and Jericho, obviously, and I hope JoMo goes over. - Intense promo to end the show. Love the cockiness of Nexus towards Cena, and it's obvious he'll be back somehow.
A good show overall. A lot to look forward to.

WWE RAW: Monday 25th October 2010...Zack Ryder beating Darren Young I suppose does something for both superstars, so this is fine by me. Glad to see Ezekiel Jackson with the win against William Regal. Hopefully Zeke ends up on a push to the WWE Championship division. The Miz's promo was good, basically bragging about his win. Was surprised by CM Punk beating Triple H to the arena, liked this interaction with Punk and Miz. One thing is that I just wouldn't be able to see Punk as a convincing main eventer with the short hair look he's sporting. CM Punk and Alex Riley should be a simple and basic match with Punk winning for definite. No Triple H again is bizarre. He should still be all over Miz, because Miz never properly beat him for the belt. David Otunga and Justin Gabriel beating MVP and Mark Henry to win the WWE Tag Team Championships...may as well have just had The Nexus in the match with MVP and Mark Henry last night. Do not keep going with the quick title changes, though. Primo beating R-Truth again furthers his role as a credible competitor, basic match. I do not like R-Truth, but he's being really jobbed out in this diary. Melina winning against Jillian was acceptable, did nothing though. Daniel Bryan's promo was good, looking forward to another match between Dolph Ziggler and Bryan. Punk beating Riley is fine, no problem there and liked the Miz involvement. Triple H and Sheamus' involvement was alright, but like I said before, Hunter should have been involved with the WWE Championship still. John Morrison beating Chris Jericho is a fine main event, could get Morrison far in time. And lastly, loved the heat on Nexus getting rid of John Cena at last. A decent episode, not booked like I would have though.

![](http://i54.tinypic.com/117eftc.jpg) | Tuesday Night NXT - October 26th, 2010 – Milwaukee, Wisconsin |
CUE OPENING PACKAGE!
✮The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the crowd pop for the premiere episode of WWE NXT Season Three. We got to the commentary desk where we see Josh Mathews and Michael Cole, reprising their roles as the commentator of WWE NXT. They welcome us to the show and then hand us over to Matt Striker who is inside the ring.
✮Matt Striker welcomes everyone to tonight’s show and says that they have eight brand new Rookies set for this Season of NXT, and it’s time for us to meet them. He says that he is going to introduce each Rookie and their Pro, and invite them all to the ring. First to be introduced is Conrad Tanner and his Pro, Jack Swagger. Next, is Xavier Woods and his Pro, JTG. Following them is Mason Ryan and his Pro, Ted DiBiase with Maryse. After, we see Jinder Mahal and his Pro, Santino Marella. Then, Hunico and his Pro, Goldust. Next, it is Richie Steamboat and his Pro, Chris Jericho. Following, Brett DiBiase and his Pro, the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero. And finally, Tyler Black and his Pro, the returning Hardcore Holly to a huge pop.
✮Once all the Rookies and their Pros were in the ring, Matt Striker welcomed them all to this Season of WWE NXT. He says that they are in for a tough ride, but it will be worth it, because the winner of will receive a Championship match of their choice, at a Pay-Per-View of their choice. He then says that without trying to kill the mood, he can reveal that the first Rookie Elimination will take place in four weeks time. The Rookies and their Pros look around nodding their heads, ready to get underway in this competition. Matt Striker then tells them that in order for the WWE Universe to get to know them properly, tonight is going to be an all-Rookie night. We will see Brett DiBiase taking on Xavier Woods, Tyler Black and Hunico taking on Conrad Tanner and Mason Ryan, and right now, we’re going to kick off with Richie Steamboat versus Jinder Mahal! We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Richie Steamboat with Chris Jericho defeats. Jinder Mahal with Santino Marella Both Rookies didn’t seem to be too happy with their Pros. Steamboat obviously annoyed at Jericho’s past with his father, and Mahal wanting a more reliable Pro than Santino. However, this didn’t hinder their match as they gave it their all. After Santino accidentally distracted Mahal, who was shouting at him to shut his mouth, he turned around and was met with a huge Diving Crossbody, giving Steamboat the victory.
✮Richie Steamboat celebrated his victory as Mahal and Santino left, arguing up the ramp. Chris Jericho entered the ring and came face-to-face with his Rookie. The crowd was hoping for something to happen, but Richie Steamboat was the better man and walked around Jericho, leaving the ring. Jericho smirks and applauds his Rookie as we fade backstage.
✮Matt Striker is backstage, standing alongside NXT Rookie, Brett DiBiase. Striker asks DiBiase how it feels to be a part of NXT. DiBiase tells him that it fells great getting a chance to wrestle for the WWE and perhaps even follow in his fathers footsteps if he wins. He then mentions how his brother, Ted is a Pro to another Rookie and that may cause some friction between them, but he hopes not. Striker wishes him luck in his match up next and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Xavier Woods with JTG defeats. Brett DiBiase with Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero This was a competitive match, but all the time, we see Brett DiBiase glancing over at the stage where all the Pros were sat. He was clearly looking at his brother, Ted DiBiase who was applauding him, whether it was serious or not, who knows. This may have cost him the match as Xavier Woods was able to hit a Diving DDT for the victory.
✮JTG and Xavier Woods celebrated while Ziggler and Vickie were not too pleased. Ziggler gets in the ring and asks what is wrong with Brett. He shrugs his shoulders and says he’s sorry, but Ziggler storms off and Vickie gives Brett a nasty look. Brett, who is clearly upset about this, slowly follows as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE Survivor Series, airing November 21st, 2010. We then cut backstage.
✮We once again see Matt Striker, this time, backstage with Tyler Black. Striker asks him how it is been paired with Hardcore Holly. Black says he knows it’s going to be tough, knowing Holly’s well-known dislike for Rookies, but he is going to prove that he is no Rookie, and that he is more than capable of winning this competition. He walks off and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Conrad Tanner & Mason Ryan with Jack Swagger, Ted DiBiase & Maryse defeats. Tyler Black & Hunico with Hardcore Holly & Goldust A great way to close the show with four of the new NXT Rookies. It was back and forth most of the way, but the pure power of Mason Ryan was the deciding factor, when he caught Hunico after a springboard and drilled him with a huge Sitout Spinebuster for the victory.
✮Mason Ryan and Conrad Tanner high-fived as Tyler Black checked on Hunico. Jack Swagger and Ted DiBiase congratulated their Rookies while Goldust checked on his. Hardcore Holly simply left ringside, walking up the ramp and leaving his Rookie. Tyler Black shook his head, knowing he had disappointed Holly. NXT fades to a close as Holly leaves the stage.

I like the choices for Rookie's and Pro's - especially the Steamboat/Jericho pairing. Richie over Jinder was the right choice since Richie is a bigger name (surname wise) than Jinder. It's weird to see Brett as a Rookie without Ted as his Pro, but I like it. The fact you mentioned how Brett hopes it doesn't cause friction between the pair is pretty much a way of saying there will be friction, which is good. It's different from every diary pairing Brett and Ted. Liked Ted costing Brett the match, giving Xavier the win. I like Holly returning to be a Pro as he definitely fits the mold to be a Pro. As much as I prefer the ring name Tyler Black, I wish you changed it to Seth Rollins as it would be more realistic. Ryan and Tanner winning is fine as it put them both over, moreso Ryan due to the way he got the win. Interesting post-match stuff with Holly/Black.

- Good start to the show, introducing the pairs to the crowd. Hmm... Jericho/Steamboat... where have I seen that? ![;)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wink.gif) - I'm half and half on the Hardcore Holly return, as I do like him and he fits for this show but what else can he do? - Steamboat getting the victory to kick off the show is great. I hope to see Jinder stick around a while in this, as well. - Nice little victory for Woods; the unintentional cost of Brett's loss by Ted is interesting. Could lead to something. - Good main event for the show; Ryan is a great competitor and I don't care much for Tanner. Like the stuff between Holly/Black. A good show overall. You say you aren't that pleased with it, but I like it so far.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 26th October 2010...Actually don't know who has this season of NXT won, I do know that in a year's time most of these Rookies will be on television though, I would have chosen one or two sh*tty FCW superstars to fill things up realistically. Good introduction to the season, please make NXT different, be original and make the product more appealing than contests, challenges and thrown together mini storylines and matches. Richie Steamboat beating Jinder Mahal is alright, odd pairings indeed. Liked the dislike of Rookies by both men. Please don't go all out on Brett Dibiase as a face, he's better off heel. Xavier Woods beating Brett Dibiase...passable. Wish Brett had won, a decent contest though. Conrad Tanner and Mason Ryan beating Tyler Black and Hunico is an independent wrestling dream match in the making, nice introductory show, just do Season 3 differently to what NXT has been like all around.

-A bunch of singles matches tonight and the final tag match should be fine. Good to see everyone on the card. -Richie Steamboat over Jinder Mahal is good. I predict him to win this whole thing. -Not very familiar with Xavier Woods but from what I have seen, he's pretty good so this win doesn't bother me. -Tanner and Ryan, the bigger team to win seems like the most realistic way to go so nothing wrong here. -Good show; too early for me to judge anything but a fair start. Keep it up.

✮Before the show gets underway, we see a recap of WWE Bragging Rights this past Sunday, showing how Edge defeated Kane to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. We then start the show.
CUE OPENING PACKAGE!
✮The pyrotechnics explode from the stage and we are greeted by a new broadcast team of Michael Cole, Matt Striker and Josh Mathews. They welcome us to SmackDown and tell us that tonight; the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge will take on Kane in a non-title rematch from Bragging Rights. Also, they mention how The Undertaker is apparently in the arena tonight, and unfortunately, so is The Nexus.
✮The crowd erupt as we hear the theme of the NEW World Heavyweight Champion, Edge. He does his usual entrance with his pyro before entering the ring with a huge grin on his face. The crowd gives him a warm welcome as he grabs the microphone and begins to speak. He says that he is now a ten-time World Champion, which gets a good pop from the WWE Universe. He mentions how defeating Kane wasn’t easy, and he never expected it to be easy, but in the end, he lived up to his name of the Ultimate Opportunist, and saw the opening he needed to capture the gold. He mentions that tonight, he is forced to step into the ring with Kane once again, later tonight, and after his father, Paul Bearer was apparently abducted by The Undertaker, he knows that Kane isn’t in the best of moods. However, he vows to the WWE Universe that tonight, he will successfully defeat the Big Red Monster and continue on his road to a successful tenth World Championship reign. The crowd pop, but that soon turns to heat as we hear the theme of Alberto Del Rio for some unknown reason. He arrives in one of his expensive cars, tooting his horn before jumping out and cockily approaching the ring. He enters the ring, looking ready to compete, and speaks to Edge with a smirk on his face.
✮Del Rio firstly brushes Edge aside and introduces himself, once again to the WWE Universe… but they already knew that. Edge scratches his head and then asks ‘Juan Layfield’ exactly what he is doing out here. Del Rio chuckles and says that Edge cannot offend him, for he is far superior to him. He says that since this past Sunday at Bragging Rights, many people have accused him of costing Team SmackDown the victory; however, he begs to differ. He claims that he was taking out the weak link in the team, and that was little Rey Mysterio. The crowd boo and a “619” chant breaks out. Edge says that Del Rio can think what he likes, but he did cost Team SmackDown the victory, and the roster isn’t all too pleased. Edge says that he has a good idea, and that is to Spear him right now! The crowd pop, but Del Rio quickly wiggles his way out of it, saying that he has a match right now, and it’s quite ironic actually, as it is with Edge’s longtime buddy, Christian, the former Captain of team SmackDown. Edge says that is fair enough and then says that he hopes Christian shows him that SmackDown doesn’t like to be screwed over. Edge leaves as Del Rio’s theme plays. Del Rio has a huge smirk on his face and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Alberto Del Rio defeats. Christian Christian was looking for some retribution after Del Rio cost Team SmackDown, but it wasn’t enough as Del Rio managed to lock in the Cross Armbar, forcing Christian to tap out.
✮Del Rio celebrates his victory, much is the displeasure of the WWE Universe. However, the crowd erupts as Rey Mysterio appears out of nowhere and hits Del Rio with a Springboard Senton. Rey then dropkicks Del Rio onto the middle rope and goes for the 619, but he escapes under the bottom rope, avoiding it. Del Rio taps his head, boasting his intelligence as Mysterio looks on, promising that he will get Del Rio soon. We then fade backstage.
✮We see Beth Phoenix and Melina backstage to a huge pop. Phoenix says it feels great to be back and she can’t wait to get her hands on Layla tonight. Melina tells her that it’s about time LayCool met their match, and The Glamazon is definitely that match. Phoenix hugs Melina and the duo leave for ringside as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE Survivor Series, airing November 21st, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Beth Phoenix with Melina defeats. Layla with Michelle McCool Phoenix was dominant in this one and despite Michelle McCool’s best efforts, Phoenix was able to plant Layla with the GlamSlam and pick up her return victory here on SmackDown.
✮Afterwards, McCool carried Layla away from the ring, both clutching their Divas Championships. Phoenix and Melina looked on with smiles on their faces as we fade backstage.
✮Todd Grisham is backstage with Jack Swagger to a lot of heat. Grisham asks Swagger what he thinks to Team SmackDown’s loss at Bragging Rights. Swagger says that it was a complete shambles, and had Theodore Long listened and made him Team Captain, none of this would have happened. He says that from now on, he is going to make people listen to him, starting tonight, when he destroys Kaval. Swagger storms off and we fade to ringside.
✮The crowd boo as we hear the theme of the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler. He comes out alongside his girlfriend, the official SmackDown Consultant, Vickie Guerrero. They enter the ring and Ziggler begins to speak. Firstly, he gloats about defeating the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan at WWE Bragging Rights, gaining the only victory for the SmackDown brand. He says that this past Monday on Raw, he saw the challenge that Daniel Bryan made, and he liked the sound of getting another opportunity to humiliate him on Pay-Per-View. He tells us that he accepts Bryan’s challenge, which gets a huge pop, but he says he doesn’t want an ordinary rematch. He says that a one-on-one bout would just be like beating him all over again, so he proposes that since it’s Survivor Series, why don’t they each find four partners, and have themselves a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination match. He says that he looks forward to beating five idiots this time, as opposed to just one. Ziggler drops the microphone and he leaves alongside Vickie as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Kaval defeats. Jack Swagger Swagger clearly meant what he said earlier as he tried to make a statement. He had Kaval set up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but as he lifted, Kaval rolled all the way over into a sunset flip and managed to score a huge upset victory.
✮Kaval celebrated this huge victory over a former World Heavyweight Champion, but not for long, as Jack Swagger came out of nowhere with a clubbing clothesline to the back o the skull. Swagger began screaming at Kaval, telling him that his win was a fluke. He then locks Kaval in the Ankle Lock, causing him to scream in pain. Referees rush to the ring to break the hold and Swagger finally lets go, but the damage has been done. Swagger storms off as we fade backstage.
✮Backstage, we see a dark room with a dim, red light shining in. Kane walks onto the scene to a lot of heat, looking rather distraught. He is pacing back and forth before finally stopping and speaking into the camera. He shouts that The Undertaker shouldn’t have come back after he defeated him at Hell in a Cell. He says that he went one step too far by abducting his father, and he wants his father back. Tonight, he says he plans to destroy Edge and show Undertaker exactly what he is capable of, and what will happen to him if he doesn’t get his father back. Kane throws the camera to the ground and storms off as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
✮We return to see Todd Grisham standing by with Ted DiBiase and Maryse to a lot of heat. Grisham asks Ted how he feels to be teaming up with his ex-Legacy teammate, Cody Rhodes tonight. DiBiase is about to answer, but ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes walks onto the scene, emphasizing the heat. Rhodes tells DiBiase that there should be no hard feelings between them, and tonight, they should defeat Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne. Then he says that if they win, he might even treat DiBiase to some grooming tips of his. Maryse gets in Cody’s face and says something in French, presumably about DiBiase’s already good looks. Cody simply says “Yeah…” and walks off. DiBiase and Maryse follow him and Grisham is left standing there confused. We then fade to ringside.
’Dashing’ Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase with Maryse defeat. Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne DiBiase and Rhodes’ tag team history really comes into play here as they manage to keep the high-flying duo grounded. After removing Kofi Kingston from the equation, DiBiase drilled Bourne with the Dream Street for the victory.
✮Afterwards, Rhodes and DiBiase shook hands with smirks on their faces as Kofi Kingston came in to check on Bourne. The former Tag Team Champions left looking stronger than ever as we fade backstage.
✮We see Theodore Long in his office and we hear a knock at the door. The WWE Universe boo as Alberto Del Rio strolls into the room. He says that Long wanted to see him, and Long nods. He says that these sneak attacks from both him and Rey Mysterio need to stop, and therefore, next week, he is booking a match between the two. The crowd pop as Del Rio looks shocked, saying he shouldn’t have to prove himself against Rey Mysterio. Long says to give Del Rio something to fight for, he’s going to make it a #1 Contenders Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd pop again and Del Rio looks a bit happier. He says he will break little Rey Mysterio’s arm once and for all next week, he guarantees it. He walks out and we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for Monday Night Raw as it goes Old School on November 15th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Big Show defeats. Chavo Guerrero This was an extremely quick match which was finished by a Knockout Punch, courtesy of the Big Show. However, the real action came afterwards.
✮Out of nowhere, the seven members of The Nexus jumped into the ring and surrounded the giant. They moved in, and Show put up a fight, but the numbers game was too much, even for the World’s Largest Athlete. They took him down and looked as dominant as ever. Wade Barrett grabbed the microphone and began to speak. He says that with The Nexus holding the WWE Tag Team Championships, they are liable to appear on any show they like, and with John Cena finally disposed of, they’re moving onto bigger things, expanding their destruction to SmackDown. They say that the WWE is no longer safe, and The Nexus are in complete control. You’re either Nexus – or against us! We then fade backstage.
✮Theodore Long is in his office, watching a monitor and seeing what he Nexus just did. He shakes his head, looking extremely worried. We then fade further backstage.
✮Todd Grisham is once again standing by, this time, with the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge to a massive pop. He asks Edge what he makes of this mentally unstable Kane. Edge says Kane is a monster anyway, let alone when he’s distraught. He says it’s going to be a tough match, but he believes he can do it. He walks off and we cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Edge defeats. Kane In this non-title rematch, we definitely saw a different side to Kane, clearly unstable after The Undertaker abducted his father, Paul Bearer. Throughout the match, Kane screams “Where is he?!” at Edge, whilst pummeling him with right hands. Kane was measuring Edge for the Chokeslam, raising his hand high behind him, but suddenly… GONG! The crowd go absolutely crazy and Kane spins around to face the stage, but nothing is there. Kane holds his head and screams “STOP! PLEASE STOP!” before turning around and getting drilled with a Spear from Edge. Edge hooks the leg and gets the victory.
✮Edge celebrates his win, holding his World Heavyweight Championship high, but we hear yet another GONG across the arena, followed by the chanting of the druids. Smoke begins to fill the arena floor and Edge makes his escape as Kane lies in the center of the ring. He sits up as the smoke begins to engulf him and gets to his feet. Six druids appear on the stage with a casket as the crowd pop, and an “Undertaker!” chant breaks out. They pull the casket up to the ring apron and then leave as the lights return to normal. The WWE Universe scream with excitement as Kane reluctantly edges towards the casket. He takes tiny steps towards it and after one final deep breath, leans through the ropes and swings the lid up, revealing a tied up Paul Bearer to a huge pop. Bearer struggles, screaming for Kane to help him, but he has been gagged, to it’s hard to make out what he is saying. It should also be noted that the Urn which also disappeared at Bragging Rights was taped into the bound hands of Paul Bearer. Kane put his hands on his head and on instinct went to grab his father and pull him out of the casket, but just as he grabbed him… GONG! The lights go out for a few seconds, and when they return, the crowd erupts to see Kane standing at one end of the ring, while standing at the other was The Undertaker, with his hand around Paul Bearer’s throat, ready for a Chokeslam. Kane pleads with The Undertaker to let his father go, saying he’ll do anything. Undertaker simply does his cut-throat motion, which aggravates Kane. Kane runs and The Undertaker shoves Paul Bearer to the canvas. The Brothers of Destruction trade blows in the center of the ring much to the crowd’s delight. Undertaker got the advantage and grabbed Kane’s throat, but Kane delivered a low blow to The Undertaker and rolled out of the ring, grabbing his father and fleeing from ringside. Kane and Paul Bearer retreated up the ramp as The Undertaker stood inside the ring. He does his signature taunt and the lights go a dark blue as the WWE Universe go wild. SmackDown fades to a close on a long shot from behind The Undertaker, staring up at a worried Kane and Paul Bearer.

EWRESTLINGNEWS.COM Reported by Ryan Clark
WWE goes Old School! On November 15th, the WWE are hosting a 3-hour edition of Monday Night Raw, dedicated to Old School WWE. In all advertisements, a few of the name advertised are Sgt. Slaughter, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka and Dusty Rhodes. It is expected that the WWE will be reaching out to as many as possible in order for the show to be a success. Of course, current storylines will be worked into the show with Survivor Series so close, but the main objective is to bring back the history of the WWE in one night.
SmackDown Superstars re-signed? Apparently, former SmackDown Superstar, Tyler Reks has been quietly re-signed to his WWE contract. He was added to the WWE.com profile section last week and competed in the Dark Match at this past Tuesday's SmackDown taping, defeating Chris Masters. Reks appears to have undergone a change in gimmick, looking much more sinister, dropping his 'surfer dude' gimmick he had in ECW.
Team Bryan versus Team Ziggler On SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler made the suggestion of a Traditional Survivor Series match between himself and Daniel Bryan. It is expected that this will go ahead as the WWE are looking to continue this Bryan/Ziggler program. Many are wondering whether it will end in unifying the belts, much like the Divas division, however, that seems highly unlikely with the popularity growth of the mid-card Championships in recent weeks.
More releases on the way? According to an inside source, more contract cuts are expected in the new year. The WWE are looking to refresh the talent going into 2011, getting rid of the Superstars and Divas who aren't really needed. It has been mentioned in recent weeks that Raw Diva, Jillian will be taken off TV to become a WWE Trainer. The WWE value her ability and would rather keep her than release her.
WWE Championship match for Raw Previews for this Monday's Raw are promoting a WWE Championship Main Event which will see The Miz defend his Championship against Triple H. It is unknown at this time as to whether this will be a local Dark Main Event, or whether it will make it to the live broadcast.

-A solid promo for Edge and Alberto interupting could be good for a hyped match at Survivor Series. -Alberto over Christian is a good way to start his push if that's what you plan to do. -Beth over Layla seems expected alot of the time. So nothing too bothering here. -Kaval over Jack Swagger in the upset was shocking, yet great. And Swagger's post-match could start a feud between the two. -Rhodes and DiBiase a team again is great in my opinion. Them beating Kofi and Bourne was good. -Show over Guerrero was the right call, not much to comment on, but a basic squash. -Edge over Kane was good. Awesome post-match and with Undertaker's return, I believe sees Kane/Taker in a gimmicked match. -Great show; leaves some good anticipation for the WHC picture, Kane/Undertaker, etc. Great job especially on this show.

- I find Tyler Reks' new persona interesting, nice to see you rehiring him. Would like to see how you deal with him on television. - Non-title rematch? Not too fond of that, doesn't really make sense for it to be non-title in my opinion. - Nice opening from Edge. - Love del Rio being in the main event scene and this confrontation with Edge is brilliant for him. - Christian versus del Rio? Hope del Rio goes over or he'll suffer a major momentum loss. - Good for del Rio to win. Would have liked the match to be more extensive as these two deserve time to perform, they're both fantastic in the ring. - Like del Rio tapping his head to Rey. Good feud so far, I want to see where it goes. - Not too much care for the divas match but Beth going over is definitely the best decision. - Swagger's right, him being captain could have been pretty cool. - Team Ziggler versus Team Bryan at Survivor Series? Fantastic! - Kaval beat Swagger... clean? Really? Wow, I think that's probably a horrible thing. - Swagger beating Kaval down to promote the Ankle Lock is good, should have had Swagger win and do this in my opinion. - Legacy reunion? I know the tag team division needs bolstering but that seems kinda eh for me. I think Cody Rhodes is gold and is on his way to singles glory. DiBiase not so much, but he definitely has great potential. - Mysterio and del Rio in a #1 contender's match is great. Hope del Rio wins but I don't want to see him with the title yet, though. - Big Show is now impossible to book. The guy is plain annoying these days. - Nexus attacking Show? Good, hope they put him out of action for a while. Them being on Smackdown is good unless Cena can appear on Smackdown and destroys them there instead. - Edge winning is good. Could have made it for the title and got rid of Kane's rematch clause therefore leaving the Undertaker-Kane match-up at Survivor with Kane's rematch being already used. - Good ending.
