What do you guys think of ITV saying that the producers on the X-factor used auto tuning software, to basically make the crapsingers sound good.
I think its just ruins the show, and seeing as the show is a singing contest and its accused of faking the singing, it means the show is fixed.

I went to the tapings in London, the whole bloody thing is scripted from day 1. I bet they probably already have a winner lined up.

I went to the Glasgow tapings, and it's so much like the crowd are literally cast members. We get told to stand up and cheer so that the cameras can record us cheering for future purposes, like editing cheers into other acts. Also, I saw Gamu live (one of the people being accused of having been auto-tuned) and she sounded the same live, as she did on the television. G&S did sound like they had work done on their voices, but she (not he, lol) was still good.

I definitely noticed something was up this week. I only watch the auditions for the rubbish people for a laugh, and there was a distinct lack of crappiness.

I know about them. It just seems that there were fewer deluded people than usual.

Give it time, I mean it was only the first episode of the series. Plus, that girl punching her friend looks like it could be good.

Totally. Highlight packages like that are a little misleading because you think a part's coming up next week, then it turns out to be 4 weeks later.
I don't understand bookies when they make someone a favourite after one episode. There'll be loads better than that African lass.

Yeah, but one thing I noticed is that Cheryl was next to Natalie Imbruglia when the girl punched her friend, and next week has Natalie as a guest judge. And I was pretty annoyed that Glasgow got Geri Halliwell as a guest judge, while Pixie Lott, Nicole Scherzinger, Natalie Imbruglia and Katy freakin' Perry were all guest judges, ha.
