I guess he was talking WWE figures, or maybe an honest mistake. no one knows but himself. : )

interesting interview. enrique seems professional, genuine and passionate about the line.
cool that one of my questions was picked. and another 3 of my questions were answered indirectly too.
The main things I was disappointed not to hear insight into was- if they can make WCW title belts for figures. but they did say belts are coming, and I imagine its a little premature to be asking about WCW belts before they've made WWE belts. and if Mattel have permission to make classic figures of current talent (eg Unmasked Rey Mysterio, Masked Kane, Dustin Rhodes, etc). and also i really wanted to know about if they will make Kronik or a serious/heel headscan DDP figure. But I guess its still early days and they wanna get the old school WWE legends out first.
overall good interview. a lot more professional and to-the-point than Jakks usually are, with solid answers (ie not question-dodging and vague generic answers which often turn out to be lies, like Jakks did).
hopefully mattel is genuine when they say they want to be more involved with getting WF input into their figures, and hopefully they give us plenty of opportunities for extensive, fair and useful input which is properly organized and actually affects design/lineup choices.
jakks barely made any effort to ASK us stuff (they just announced stuff which was happening whether we knew about it or not, and their opportunities for input were very rare, badly organized, unfair and brief.)

Well DDP already officially said on his FaceBook he did sign with Mattel. CNT WAIT! yeh i know, but thanks anyway what I wanted to know is if mattel will give us a straight-faced/heel headscan DDP, reflecting his days as a HEEL. instead of all the stupid smiley babyface DDPs Jakks gave us.

Sweet, they answered mine about more WCW, ECW, and Atttiude Era people in the Legends line. I'm tired of the same era being shown, Warrior, Hogan, Piper over and over. Wrestlemania 1 through 6 era.

Once again, since you guys do read the forums, thanks for valuing our feedback and using it to make improvements to the line.
That being said, the only bad thing I feel that was discussed was the Special Guest Host set. Bad, bad, bad idea. I know that there was a very limited amount of people on here that actually liked the idea, and I'm sure most kids didn't understand or know who these people were. Just be sure to take that into account.
Again, thanks a lot for listening to us.

I really hope the "fro" comment about the Andre figure was a mis-communication. I want a shorter haired Andre ala WM 3. Wish he would have asked about that WM 26 Shawn Proto. There is one out

That was a great 20 minutes. Shame none of my questions got asked, I thought I came up with some good ones, haha. Oh well.
It seems like Enrique really knows his shit. He reminds me of Chavo Guerrero (in his looks) Awesome news about Andre & the ring. It's pretty obvious Mattel has learned from all of Jakks' mistakes and is definitley going to be putting all their efforts into this line.
Having guys on the design team who are actually fans is probably the smartest thing they could've done. I definitley do NOT want them to waste budget money on the Elite line with things like trash cans & chairs. I like Elites exactly how they are.
If the guys from Mattel read my post, thanks for all that you do, and you have all completely won me over. I was on the cusp of really downgrading my collecting but Mattel has brought me in with the awesome attention to details and their willingness to go all out for their fans & us collectors.

I agree, they should probably do the Wrestlemania 3 Ver. of Andre, just because Jakks is doing a "afro" Andrew in their Legends line. Then again, I hope Mattel pisses them off, because I am for certain sure, Mattel's will look even better.
