i see how ur technique was supposed to be like. just a suggestion first use the dark and thendrybrush the light color on top it will look more better.
if you want to do a washing of the color, little little bit o paint on brush then swish it in water until almost all paint gone, then while still wet use the dark color on the light skin. this will dry different color than applied an looks better.
nice head choice ,over all if change some few things it be a very nice custom! goodjob friend

I actually did do the dry brushing of the lighter skin on it but while sealing it the first time I ed up part of it so I re did it and forgot to go back and drybrush on the light tone again. Might go back and do it again... Not sure yet... Thanks for the comments guys...

I can really tell you rushed the logos. They do look pretty bad. It's your first one back, so I'll give that to you. Just a little more time and patience and the logos would have been really good.
As for the wash. I think you still had too much paint on the brush. What I usually do is put 1-2 drops in a bottle cap, add about half full of water, swish around until milky and no solid paint is left. Wash my brush out to get rid of any excess paint on there, then work the wash. Also, when you get big water droplets staying in some of the crevaces like that, work them a little so you don't get brown spots forming like you did.
Otherwise this looks good, and I like it overall.
