Not sure what you're point is with posting that, both company's have Quality Control problems. I've had QC problems with Jakks and Mattel figures and im sure i would have more with both in the future sometime. When it comes to QC problems, Every company pretty much has them and that "case" will never be closed.

I Agree with you Dan they both do..this was more so for the same 6 or 7 trouble makers who bash the hell out of jakks and insist mattel is perfect... i been trying to say both have issues...theres one guy who insists that there is way more complaints about jakks then there is about mattel..id say iuts pretty even and from the looks of this mattel thred its not the same 6 or 7 folks... mattel is early on and making figures with to left feet and the back of the tights just being one giant smudge... but the 6 or 7 who cause trouble here are predictably silent on this amount of screw ups from mattel... i been trying to say both mess up while those 6 or 7 yoyos been claiming no only jakks makes crap...lol

Either way, the aesthetic of a figure has absolutely nothing to do with Quality Control. Toybiz' TNA line had strikingly bad QC, yet it still holds host to some of my favourite ever wrestling toys. Anyway, weren't the 2-packs meant to be released by now? Really want to see how the Guns look out of package!

Having collected purely Jakks since about 2000 I consider myself completely unbiased. I have now been collecting Mattel since the start of the year and have to say that in my opinion Mattel wipes the floor with Jakks in almost every aspect. I'm not saying Mattel gets everything right but I've been stunned by what I consider to be Jakks dramatic decline ever since they found out they were losing the WWE license. I desperately want to like Jakks new figures as I'm a big TNA fan but I just get the impression they view the line as s consolation line and are just sticking out any old stuff and hoping to get away with it. Sure some of the scans are really good but I've never liked the hideous DA body with the spindle legs and the pumped up arms that look awful on the likes of Amazing Red In Jakks defence, the one thing I would say is that the quality control Jakks have is far superior to Mattel. I seem to see a lot of Matty figures with sloppy paint jobs and such. No problem if you can search and pick your own figure but if you order online and end up with a dodgy paint job it can be really annoying.
