If they're classics and great films, why wouldn't you want to see them... Because great films is an opinion. And classic movies can be subjective. Really anything older you can call classic. And I have not seen 99% of the movies listed here nor do I have a desire to see them. Why. Why not give them a chance and see you may be missing out.

Off the top of my head:
Goodfellas The Shawshank Remption Taxi Driver Lawrence of Arabia Rocky
There's probably quite a lot of modern movies which may be considered iconic for this era, but I have no desire to see, Avatar for example. I much prefer stuff from the 50's-80's.
Also, still haven't been able to watch The Exorcist all the way through properly. Really want to but I've had problems with that film since I was a child.

I've seen everything mentioned in this thread. Then again I forget I'm probably 10 years older than most of the people replying here.
With that said, I have a list of 18,000 (give or take) films that I still have not seen. Hell, my roommate has a good 300 movies I haven't seen. And I've lived with him for years. Too many movies, not nearly enough time.

There's tons of iconic movies that I have never seen and have no interest in seeing.

Yeah, that's ridiculous, I guess this guy just doesn't like movies somehow?

I know that ignorance is bliss but c'mon! I can't believe so many people here haven't seen Back to the Future!

The only movie I can add to a shortlist of movies already mentioned, is Nightmare Before Christmas. Out of all the moves I havent seen, it gets the best reaction out of people when I tell them. So now I just try avoiding it just because. Ive also Yet to see: Scarface Godfathers and LOTR.

Because I don't want to see some movies that people think are some of the greatest movies of all time? Sorry that I don't feel the need to jump in the crowd.

Sorry that I don't feel the need to jump in the crowd. Actually, yes. To not see a couple of the movies (or even the majority) here is understandable, it happens. Even more, its understandable that you Dont want to see SOME of the movies. I felt that way about Avatar, even though I eventually did because I felt I had to (biggest grossing movie of all time, I wanted to see what the fuss was about). But to not want to see most, if not all of the movies just seems ignorant, and going to an extreme measure to be different. If you have poor movie taste, thats different, but if you wont see a movie because its sucessful and the majority likes it, then its redundant. (Though not to say that that is the reason you wont see the movies, but the movies listed are very diverse in style and a lot of them should cater to an individuals taste)

None of the movies listed look interesting to me. So, I'm not going to sit and watch a 2 hour movie, just because everyone else likes it. If it doesn't look interesting to me, I'm not going to waste my time watching it.
