I was glad to see the Falcons defense play as well as they did. The offense was very predictable, and slow looking. I don't understand why the Falcons didn't try to get another receiver to help Roddy White. Everyone else is terrible, and Gonzalez is old and slow now. Ryan stared him down the whole game. Once we didn't score, I knew the game was over, as the defense was exhausted. But giving up a 50 yard run on the first play is inexcusable.
WHat I saw from the defense was encouraging though.

all 3 INT's were off the Wide Receivers hands and in the right spot. Gotta love the announcers blaming it all on the WR's and asking how many times that can happen? Yeah, I love the receivers but all those picks were on them. That is 1 reason I want to punch people in the face when they talk about stats. Eli had 3 picks, so I guess he played like crap. :-P Considering at one point he was 9-15 and there were 4 dropped balls at that point... game could have gone a lot differently.

Aside from that last run by Mendenhall, Atlanta's defense played pretty well today. With that being said though...nice job by Dixon today. He may not have gotten a TD, and he did have a pick, but he managed the game and really came on late in the game so...that's pretty promising in my eyes, especially considering how good Atlanta's D did today.

All three drops came after the WR's had two hands on the ball. Two of those drops were from the receivers chest, the other was with elbows bent above a 6'3" receivers head... you can't get more precise. He threw the ball to the WR's and their two hands... what more can you do? It's not like those guys weren't open when he hit them. Or that he wasn't completely money other than his WR's dropping easy catches.

I have always loved these eagles jerseys. They should keep them permanently. I was just telling my buddies the same thing.... I like them a lot better than their regular logo and jerseys

The Eagles are not playing good. They just need to go into the half, Andy needs to light a fire underneath them, and they need to come out, and fire on all cylinders in the 2nd half.

I have always loved these eagles jerseys. They should keep them permanently. I was going ask if they would wear these all season. They look really nice and clean. I love the shade of green.

I wish the falcons would wear their black jerseys and red helmets more often. Their current jerseys kind of suck.

Its good to see the Niners have completely forgotten they were picked to win the division so we decide to open the season by getting our asses kicked.
