Bad game for Philly today. Only made worse by losing 4 starters before halftime. Kevin Kolb and Stewart Bradley left with concussions, and Leonard Weaver left with assistance, limping. And Jamaal Jackson quietly left, and had his arm looked at. Leonard and Jamaal are probably done for the year too; diagnosis on Leonard is a torn ACL, and Jamaal diagnosed with a torn bicep.
But a shiny light is that Vick looked pretty damn good. He scrambled like the Vick of old, which is a nice sight in the new McNabb-less era. We'll just have to take our lumps and move on to Detroit next week. And after they got screwed today, I see them being hungry for a win, and we need to be on our game.

My Seahawks did pretty damn well. I think our running game needs work. But at the same time I attribute that to Willis being dominant. Williams did fantastic. I think the Hawks have a chance if going 10-6, 11-5. It was funny watching the refs hold Carroll back when we scored a TD.

Took the Patriots 2 years to pay Brady, you think they are going to pay a diva WR? As much as I'd like that, its not happening, especially with Mankins being a pusssssssssssy at home

I hate Miles Austin tonight. Thanks to him, I'm tied now in fantasy, and have my Jets D vs. his Ryan Matthews tomorrow.

Anything is possible. I'm holding out hope that Revis gets like 5 INT's and returns them all for touchdowns. Either that, or the KC defense picks it up against the SD run.

My opinions of NFL Week 1: 1. So excited for football and was sort of let down. I have the Ticket and outside of Det/Chi, watching the Bungles be inept and the Pats look stellar, and tonight's game......it was all pretty average. 2. Detroit was ROBBED. 3. A lot of fantasy studs looked like duds and a lot of fantasy studs looked just like that. 4. There is no QB controversy in Philly regardless of how much Philly fans will whine and cry about Vick. Go kick a dog or something. 5. SF looked completely inept. 6. Houston IS ready to take the next step. 7. How BOUT DEM REDSKINS?!?!!? ;D

7. How BOUT DEM REDSKINS?!?!!? ;D The Cowboys beat themselves. There are only a handful of plays that the Redskins truly "made." Yes, they forced the fumble on Choice, but it was the horrible/inexcusable playcalling that led to it.

Call it what you will, cuz the Skins offense was inept. But I think the Skins are improved on defense.
