Damn it, our last game is meaningless now...but after today's "performance", we probably would have lost anyways.

Pretty simple clown shoes: Losing and getting into the playoffs = backing in. I am not gonna get over myself, when its the truth. Losing + getting into the playoffs = backing in Quoted from a NYJ Beat writer: The New York Jets lucked out -- just like last season. They played Arena League defense and fell to the Chicago Bears 38-34 but they backed into the playoffs because the Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Washington Redskins. It was a hollow way to make it for the second straight year, but as Rex Ryan said defiantly, “We’ll take it.”

Jax lost i don't really understand how they backed in when all they would of had to do is when next week. Your such a jets hater its actually pretty funny.

You know something? I love how no one's bringing up Matt Cassel in the MVP discussion. It's not a strong arguement, but today proved it's a possibly valid one.

Had they lost next week and got help they would have backed in but they had a game left and only had to win that. There is a difference. If this is week 17 and they lose and jacksonville loses and they get in ok maybe they back in.With one game left and all they had to do was win it. No i don't consider it backing in.

Ho hum, an NFL record for Brady today. No big deal, no Wow play for him though Yeah....for attempts! Not completions. Not touchdown passes. Just attempts. WOW! I can throw the ball at people's feet and get attempts to stack up too. You're just nitpicking now. Wanna talk records? How many times has Tom Brady led his team to a 28-0 lead AFTER THE FIRST QUARTER?! I'll answer that for you. NONE! How many times has Tom Brady thrown for a 100+ QB Rating, and ran for over 600 yards? NONE! How many times has Tom Brady thrown for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns IN THE SAME GAME? Once again....NONE! Vick sets records too. Vick breaks them as well. But you are sensationalizing Brady's efforts in an attempt to make him seem like he's better. You're not going to convince me of that. He's not better. Vick is just as good as Tom Brady is. Vick deserves to be co-MVP. You won't convince me that Tom Brady deserves it solely by himself. Jets getting in is good, I think they can make a run because they are a good football team. They didn't "back in to the playoffs". So what they lost? They still have a better record than the Jaguars, who lost today. That gives them a playoff spot. They still worked for the 10 wins they have, they still earned a playoff spot by winning those 10 games. I guess the Eagles "backed into a division championship" today too because they didn't play, but New York lost and by virtue of that loss, we lock up the NFC East title. I guess we didn't earn it with our 10 wins this year. I guess the Giants losing, and making their record worse than ours didn't have one single thing to do with us being the better team...

Eli Manning for MVP.
No but seriously let's fire Coughlin and take Cowher up on his claim.

How am I nitpicking? Its a legit record. What is wrong with you? You think he just threw the ball at peoples feet to get the record? Maybe you should watch some Patriots games big guy, you keep making your argument look worse and worse by your lack of knowledge Here learn something sports.espn.go.com/boston/nfl/news/story?id=5957144
