And like I said.....Falcons have NOT clinched the division. A loss to Carolina and a Saints win, makes the Saints the winners of the division. No offense to any Panthers fans, but if the Falcons lose this week, knowing how important this game really is against a really bad team...they don't deserve to win the division, or even play a game in the playoffs. My logic may be flawed, but that's just my take. craphappens sometimes man. I certianly wouldnt bet on the Panthers, but its a rivalry game and the Falcons could be thinking playoffs and a first round bye and dont get up to play this game. Wouldnt be the first time a young team choked. But at least I get what you were getting at before.

While the Browns are much better than the Panthers, it's still a game we shouldn't, and can't afford to lose. And if we do...well...Baltimore deserves to win the division. Simple as that.

The only way I see the Ravens being a serious threat would be if the Browns beat Pit, and we beat Cincy to get the #2 seed.
Not looking so good......

She never formally complained, during or after the alleged incident. The thing that I find very interesting is that she apparently handed over a phone, as well as other electronic and non-electronic "evidence". And yet at the end of the day, they couldn't link it back to Favre. She had recorded voicemails, which hypothetically were saved in a voice mail box, to which the call back number should have been able to be traced back. She had text messages, which once again could have been saved to a phone, in which the number attached should have been able to be traced back. Hell, without being too dramatic, they could just gone to Deadspin.com, printed some screen prints, and just had Favre drop them. Better yet, have him put on Crocs and then drop them. I guess the point I'm making is given the amount of time spent, the amount of apparent evidence that was presented, and the pushy nature of her lawyer, they still didn't really have anything, or else it would have been a much bigger fine. Granted, the whole not cooperating in a timely manner does cast some guilt on Favre's head, but at the same time, if he says he didn't send the pictures, and they can't prove he did, then he didn't. I don't know why they were investigating it in the first place. Let's say for the sake of argument that Favre is guilty as sin. Let's say he did send naked pics of himself to the lady and he did leave her sexually charged voice mails. So what? He's an adult. She's an adult. She's not complaining about it. It was completely consensual. How is it the NFL's business? Now if his wife wanted to kill him, that I could understand. I don't see how it's the NFL's business though. I believe part of the investigation was in relation to how exactly Favre got her number. That would be the majority part of the NFL, as far as personal sensitive information goes.

Given the Giants bitch fits that they always have in the 2nd half of the season, if the Rams win Sunday, I will be rooting for them in the postseason.

This is, of course, barring a miracle where both the Bears and Giants win, and we get into the playoffs.

Agreed, seeing as the Rams have a couple of former Giants on defense. To my knowledge they have Dockery, Kehl, Robbins, Dahl aaanndd.... that might be it. But overall, if the Giants don't get in, then i'm definately rooting for the Chiefs in the AFC. They've always been my "closet" team that I secretly root for for some reason. I'm not saying i'm a Chiefs fan, I just enjoy seeing them do good. Plus Charles is a beast and definately one of my favorite players in the NFL.

Good to see there are some Rams supporters on here. I'm going to be so damn nervous this Sunday night. It would just be amazing to see the Rams make the playoffs this year, but even if they do lose (which I hope not) it would still be a good season for us. Gives me a ton of hope for the future.

Was the woman complaining about Favre having her number? 'Cuz otherwise, it's still BS in my mind and I'm a Favre hater.

Technically, she hasn't complained about anything. It was the NFL's choice to start an investigation, once the allegations were placed on Deadspin.com.
It's a similar situation with the Jets reporter earlier this year, where she didn't file a formal complaint of any kind, but someone else made the media and the NFL aware of the situation, and they investigated.

I don't see the point in bothering with the investigation. He won't be coming back next year to suffer any suspension or real punishment.

I read somewhere Favre's fine equals 3 minutes of playing time for him. They broke down how much he makes a year into what he makes in a game then into 60 minutes and it came out to that. Idk what the point even was.

Jets get fined 100K for tripping incident by the league. League said they were being hefty b/c the Jets were complaining that other teams do antics like this and the league did not like them publically making accusations like that without proof. Yet the very next week following the Jets/Dolphins.....a Panthers player did it from the sidelines.

I'm so excited, going to the Seahawks game Sunday. The 12th man will give the Rams as much trouble as we can, and when we win, we will be the first losing record team to ever hold a playoff game fits us haha.

I don't think so. I mean, I definitely expect the Rams to put up a great deal of points, but the Rams D isn't all too good either, and I can see it being a close game, which could go either way at any time. It's really gonna depend on if the Seahawks show up to play or not.
