I just get tired of having to watch "regional" teams when the Falcons aren't on instead of the best matchups. I don't want to watch Carolina, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tennessee, and Baltimore all the time.

I absolutely can't wait for the Rams opener this weekend. Seeing Bradford play is gonna be amazing. Hopefully he can play as good as he did in the pre season. I'm not expecting an amazing performance though.

You're predicting not one, but two picks in the first game? Damn...

You're predicting not one, but two picks in the first game? Damn... From Favre? Yeah.. I think it's unrealistic to think that he replicates his numbers from 2009. With Sidney Rice out and his ankle still hurting, I expect the Saints to bring a lot of pressure on Favre which will lead to him throwing a number of bad passes, a couple of which will get intercepted. I think the Saints are a bad matchup for the Vikings, as they proved in the NFC title game. Their defense, albeit not extremely talented, gets pressure and forces turnovers.

I'm not saying he's going to have another 2009, I just don't think they will pass it as much. Personal opinion, of course.

I don't want to watch Carolina, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tennessee, and Baltimore all the time. I have to put up with Seahawks games every year and what's worse than that is when they aired all 16 Detroit Lions games for Joey Harrington's rookie season because of his University of Oregon allegiance. I'd like to strangle the man who made that decision.

I have to agree on the 2 INTs. He might still have good numbers all season long.....but this is going to be a tough game.

How are the Saints a bad match up for the Vikings. Im going to sound like a big cry baby vikes fan here, but i still believe that bad calls and dirty players dont make you the better team. Im picking the Vikes to win and Saints starting off 0-1. My predicted score is 31-24, Vikings.

Im picking the Vikes to win and Saints starting off 0-1. My predicted score is 31-24, Vikings. What part of what I said is incorrect? I explained why they're a bad matchup for the Vikings --- they get pressure on the opposing quarterback (despite not forcing a lot of sacks, they hit the quarterback early and often), they force turnovers (which hurts Adrian Peterson AND Brett Favre), and the Saints' offense scores often enough that they eventually force opposing offenses to pass late in the game; which turns into even more turnovers.

I'm banking on the fact that Peterson worked on holding on to the ball during the offseason, so I'm not worried in that regards. I'm not worried about Favre, or his ankle. And while the Saints do score often, so do the Vikings.
If last year's game was any indication, I think it will be the Saints playing catch-up late in the game, not the Vikes. Once again, that's just me.

I guess I just fail to see where the Vikings made improvements.
They lost Sidney Rice and Chester Taylor who both played vital roles in the offense, Favre is another year older AND hobbled by injury, the offensive line doesn't seem to be any better, Cedric Griffin is out for the season with a torn ACL (from the Saints game) and he was replaced by a rookie...
Then I look for improvements. I guess they brought in Greg Camarillo as a possession receiver. That's about all I can think of as actually being an IMPROVEMENT from 2009.

I'm still sticking by my pick of Falcons over Texans in the Super Bowl.
