Comparing Peyton to anyone other than Brady or now maybe Brees is unfair.
Eli is an excellent QB, but pales in caparison to his brother, as do most QB's in the NFL.

I didn't know an ostrich can be a named starting QB I lol'd. I won't lie. That was pretty funny. And now onto more serious biz....I want Michael Vick to START for us the rest of this season. Kolb was cleared by an independent doctor for play...but I don't like the carousel QB thing....alternating both in and out. If Kolb is the starter, let him play. If you go with Michael, let him play. I think, yesterday, Michael proved that he should be the starter. Compare yesterday to the 2 games that Kevin started last year....Vick did a way more solid job, and I personally would feel MUCH more comfortable with him starting.

The eagles would be served well by drafting a QB soon.

Wow, Texans winning was great. Cowboys/Texans will be awesome. Sucks Seahawks lost, but Broncos played a great game and at least we know what we need to work on pretty majorly (defense). Kyle Orton did amazing, congrats to him.

Eli is a good/very good QB, he isnt excellent. He does not hurt his team, which is very good, but I wouldnt put him in the excellent category. He is borderline 2nd echelon, def 3rd echelon of QB's which isnt a bad thing with a good team around you

Eli made one really great play in a SuperBowl therefore a lot of people think he's an elite QB.

Other than Giant fans, I never have heard many people call Eli elite.
Even out of Big Ben, Rivers, and himself, hes considered the 3rd best.

I don't care if he's the nicest person in the history of everything... Drew Brees' pregame "who dat" chanting is ing annoying.

To Whom it May Concern:
I have been watching the Niners since the days of Joe Montana. I was spoiled with Quarterbacks like Montana, Young, Garcia and even QBs that wouldn't lose the game for you like Bono and Grbac but now we have Alex Smith. Smith sucks. Smith has always sucked. Smith will always suck. Smith will NEVER EVER not suck. Please, just blow this season, cut this garbage and draft something else.

Always likes to play with the shiniest toy. You traded McNabb away b/c you wanted to have a young, stable pocket passer. You traded away the face of the franchise and someone who has almost every Eagle QB record. You put a lot of time and effort into developing Kolb to be THE MAN in Philly. So the moment he gets hurt, you want to drop him and put in Michael Vick?! The same Michael Vick who started his first game in how many years?! The same Michael Vick who 2 years ago rotted in a prison cell?! Forget the social end of it.......lets talk on the field. Yes, Vick had superb numbers this Sunday. He also played the ing Lions. He accumulated almost half his yards to 2 long passes to Desean Jackson. He is NOT a pocket passer, one of the big reasons Philly wanted to go with Kolb. I think its almost, if not more absurd to want Vick over Kolb than it was for people to say the Jets were dead after week 1. All that being said.....if Kolb struggles against Jacksonville.....AND Vick plays well.....THEN you might have a leg to stand on. As of right now......this idea is ludicrous.
