At this point, I think people should just be happy that someone is doing a journal, no matter what it is.
I think my next journal will be something non-wrestling related again. Like a POV of a struggling porn star or something. You'd read that right? I'd read that.

Why is the Nascar poop allowed, but other stuff like the pokemone not? I thought the pokemon thing was dumb and not belonging here, but if we don't allow that, somethin else like Nascar that far off from wrestling doesn't belong here either. See...here's the thing (and the difference): The Pokemon "thing" wasn't locked because it was being done, it was because of how it was being done. It was 1000 different people, spamming their post with stuff that didn't relate, weren't contributing to the rest of the board, etc., not because it wasn't "wrestling". It's been made clear (way before I had the idea for the NASCAR sim, that KvE is following through with) that non-wrestling is allowed here, move along. |

I might do a Wrestler POV to kill sometime until my laptop with my WWF 1994 stuff is fixed.
I just have to think of a wrestler and time period to work with.

I can't believe this discussion has been brought back up. I can say that I do understand where everyone was coming from about the Pokesims thread back then. The thread was literally holding down everyone else's work because it was constantly being replied to to the point of annoyance. That is understandable. And everyone loved that as I was doing it. You may not like Nascar, and neither do I, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be able to do it. Where else would they post it? I was wondering about WWF 1994, but I can certainly sympathize with having a laptop in the shop. I'll be reading when it returns, as well as any POV diary you come up with. |

Updated 98 with some quick results. I just watch Rock/Mankind from Survivor Series 98 again and it had me itching to write. I figured if I use the quick results for the next week, I could get started on Survivor Series and really be motivated to write till Wrestlemania 15.

I'd sure as hell like to know too. For the first time in ages I don't log on for a single day and this happens. Wow, its a little bit outta the blue. No message or anything just logged on to see whats happening and I see people congratulating me. I think I remember a long while ago Duan asking if I wanted to be a future MOD. But I might have dreamed that. I expected if this day did come there would be a big fuss about it. Like explosions, balloons and cakes but it just seems to have happened all of a sudden. I'm grateful don't get me wrong but I still want a party... with cake. So a new era of sims starts here. I feel like I need to make an epic speech but instead am just rambling nonsensically. Firstly, big thanks to Duan, the previous Mod. Don't know why he left but I thought he was a great Mod. Secondly, I feel really grateful to be have been chosen above other members as Mod such as DTP and Hammers who I believed were closer to getting the job than I. Lastly, about the type of Mod I am. I really want to give more power to the users of the board. So that means more things like more discussion threads, polls and such. Hopefully other stuff as well just for fun like a vote for your favorite diary. So any suggestions you got (any at all) either post here or you can PM me. Right, I'm off to discover my Mod powers. I'll be making a new chat thread soon to start my reign as Mod and hopefully leaving a few replies to some diaries along the way (possibly tomorrow) |
