I think the problem is that there is a big difference from being overweight and being fat. And to call Matt Hardy fat is derogatory and unnecessary. And it's easily understandable why his fans would take offense.
Yes Matt has gained weight... so what? Does he really deserve to be chastised for it?
Matt has said he has finally figured out how his stomach is going to work and last week against Del Rio he looked much healthier.
It seems as that the Matt Hardy haters are grasping for anything they can find to bash him. Just like McCool or Triple H haters grasp onto who they are married to just to get their jabs in. Haters going to hate even if it's unjustified.
Maybe I'm a little old school, cause I respect the wrestlers who respect the business. And besides something silly like gaining some weight Matt has never done anything to jeopardize the WWE.

I think the only positive outlook Matt Hardy has is when he sees a good deal at an all you can eat buffet. Crowd loves him or not, the dude is a mental case (this was made obvious when he was doing videos of him shooting and running over a Lita cardboard cut out). Im genuinely shocked that WWE has kept him employed this long and I'm a little disappointed they havnt insisted on getting him psychiatric help as he clearly needs it. He's quite possibly the most annoying and whiny wrestler on the internet. He's consistently getting himself into trouble for posting too much online. His videos suck and are really stupid and do him no favors. trollololol |

Wow, these "fat" threads get old fast. It's sad this one is at 6 pages. For all the people that bash both Matt and Jeff, not to mention Mickie. I'd love to see you post up yourself, since you all have to be in such perfect shape. Judging by your holier than thou post. I did. Page 4 or 5. I think Matt Hardy being in better shape a week ago at a Smackdown taping and then being sent home that weekend for being in no condition to perform says one of two things; He is either NOT as healthy as anyone believed he is or they're not impressed with the work ethic he's portrayed over that past few weeks/months. Also, complaining about Triple H's pull due to his marriage is a very acceptable straw to grasp at, especially now that he is publicly a company employee (I assume he's been on payroll and not independently contracted for quite some time). When it comes to complaining about Triple H however I think the most logical argument would be that his character is completely dated and his shtick is tired. Plus he is consistently booked to have terribly long and painful reigns of terror, whether it's him putting himself in this position or the writing team afraid to piss him off is irrelevant, it's bad on TV. Also, he's been troll posing and spitting water in the exact same entrance (NOW WITH SMOKE!) for over 10 years now. How is someone part of a stable called evolution when their character has done no evolving over the past decade. (anyone want to take turns restating the same things for 6 pages about Triple H now?
