Monday Night RAW April 4th, 2005 Los Angeles, CA
We kick off the show with a promo showing the 20,000 in attendance to see the World Heavyweight Championship. It shows the war that Batista and Triple H went through and after 21 minutes of action, he finally won the championship gold.
The pyrotechnics erupt from the stage and Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Monday Night RAW, 24 hours removed from WrestleMania 21. They hype that we have a new World Heavyweight Champion and here he comes now.
Batista makes his way out to the ring to a massive ovation running to each sides of the stage and proudly wearing the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He takes a microphone and begins to speak. Batista says that growing up and watching deaths in his front yard, he never thought that he'd ever become anything. He says that he'd really like to thank those who said he couldn't because that only made him more motivated to do what he did. He goes on to say that he's more proud that he did it on the big stage against someone like the ten-time World Champion, Triple H. "The Game" hits and Triple H comes to the ring saying that Batista made the biggest mistake of his life and that now, not only will he have seen pain, he's going to expirience it! Triple H and Ric Flair attack Batista before suddenly, "Whatever" hits and Chris Benoit races down the ramp as Triple H and Ric Flair flee up the ramp. Eric Bischoff comes to the stage announcing there will be no running tonight because in the main event, Batista teams with Chris Benoit to take on Triple H and Ric Flair! The crowd loves it and they superstars seem content, as we head to a commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
Mr. Money in the Bank Edge def. Rhyno 6:10 This was a decent start to RAW. Rhyno came out with his usual fury taking it all out on Edge before eventually, Edge hit a hotshot on the ropes and then a missile dropkick and took over. Rhyno rallied back on a rest hold and hit a back suplex and two clotheslines. Rhyno set up for the Gore as Edge did for the Spear and they banged heads. Edge was first to stir and managed to hit his Spear for the victory.
Edge celebrates his victory but it's then cut short by "Slow Chemical." Kane comes to the stage sporting his new t-shirt and a sinister grin. Kane says that last night at WrestleMania 21, he was robbed of the MITB and what better person to take his frustrations out on then the Mr. Money in the Bank. Edge says he sees where this is going and he declines the challenge. Kane says that he figured that he'd say that. Kane walks backstage and comes back with Christian by the throat. Kane says that Edge has three seconds to accept before he throws Christian off the stage. Edge reluctantly accepts but still, Kane chokeslams Christian off the stage! Kane signals his pyro to go off in the ring as Edge looks on in major fear.
---Commercial Break---
We come back to see what just happened with Kane chokeslamming Christian off the stage and now it's confirmed, Kane vs. Edge for the MITB. Backstage, we see Todd Grisham interviewing Batista. Grisham says that as Batista just seen, how he may no what it's like to be the top dog on RAW and is he ready. Batista says that he fought for everything he's ever had in his life. So he's ready now and everyone is on notice. He's the new king around here and the animal has been unleashed. And he is the World Heavyweight Champion, but some will have to find that out the hard way. A graphic shows our main event before we head to our next matchup.
Chris Jericho and Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin def. Tyson Tomko and Snitsky 6:29 Tomko found a replacement pretty fast but his mind wasn't in this match and it showed. Jericho and Benjamin worked well as a team and both teams made frequent tags. Jericho was worked over by the monster duo. Benjamin came in and hit the Stinger Splash and set up for the Superkick which Tomko ducked and it hit Snitsky. Jericho made a blind tag and locked in the Walls of Jericho on Tomko for the victory.
Jericho celebrated his victory but Benjamin looked as if he had been robbed. Benjamin and Jericho got into an argument while in the ring before Benjamin held his IC Title over him and Jericho motions for it. We can't hear the words but Benjamin leaves holding the IC Title on the ramp.
We see another preview of our main event before we head to commercial break..
---Commercial Break---
We see a video promotion hyping the Undertaker/Randy Orton war last night. The two battled it out for nearly 15 minutes with Orton almost ending the streak.
"Burn in My Light" hits and Randy Orton comes out sporting in-ring gear. Randy Orton says that though he lost last night, Undertaker knows two things. One, this rivalry is far from over and two, he was in a war. Randy Orton says that he's going to be catching this next edition of SmackDown and he will be putting Undertaker on notice that he's going to beat Undertaker and be one of the few people to say so. "Sexy Boy" hits and Shawn Michaels comes out saying that they both are coming off losses at WrestleMania, and being one of the very few people to say they defeated Undertaker, it's one thing to be proud about. But they both have steam to blow off and he wants revenge on Kurt Angle. Michaels says that Orton isn't Kurt Angle, but he can pretend like it. Orton accepts his challenge and coming up next, Michaels/Orton.
---Commercial Break---
Shawn Michaels def. Randy Orton 13:21 This was a very good first-hour main event here. And even though a little over, this was great. Michaels was rolling with some chops early on but then Orton came back in that exchange. Orton would lock in some rest holds in this match but Michaels rallied out hitting the atomic drop, flying forearm smash, scoop slam, and the elbow drop. Michaels had his Sweet Chin Music ducked and Orton hit a headlock backbreaker. Orton went for an RKO but Michaels pushed off and hit a hip toss and lifted Orton up who nailed the RKO for the shocking two! Orton lifted Michaels up angrily and got nailed by a high-impact Sweet Chin Music for the victory.
Shawn Michaels got up celebrating his battle here tonight on RAW. Shawn Michaels looked into the camera saying that Kurt Angle was next.
Backstage, Todd Grisham on interview with Edge. Grisham asks Edge is he doubting himself that he can even beat Kane. Edge says that Kane is nothing but a demonic freak that wants others to feel pain. Edge says that he knows people like that and has risen over them. And he may have to do so once again.
---Commercial Break---
Muhammad Hassan w/Khosrow Daivari def. World Tag Team Champion William Regal w/World Tag Team Champion Tajiri 4:29 Decent, but short matchup here tonight. Hassan got lots of offense in but Regal kept finding ways to counter his offense due to his amazing wrestling ability. Regal set up for the Knee Trembler but Hassan dodged and Daivari distracted the referee which allowed Hassan to drill Regal with his own brass knucks' for the victory.
Hassan and Daivari celebrated and attempted to attack Regal but in came Tajiri and he spit his green mist out at Daivari and Hassan as they tripped their way up the ramp. The crowd celebrated as Regal and Tajiri held their titles high as we are shown a graphic hyping our main event, Batista and Chris Benoit vs. Triple H and Ric Flair.
---Commercial Break---
We are shown a preview of this week's Thursday Night SmackDown. It hypes our new WWE Champion John Cena and how this Thursday, WWE Champion John Cena takes on United States Champion Orlando Jordan.
Women's Champion Trish Stratus and Victoria def. Christy Hemme and Lita 3:21 A decent divas match here tonight. Stratus continues to ride high off her Women's Championship retain at WrestleMania 21. This match was pretty back and forth and ended when Trish made a blind tag and nailed Stratusfaction on Hemme for victory.
Trish Stratus and Victoria celebrated their victory. Victoria continued celebrating but Eric Bischoff came out to announce next week, Stratus takes on Hemme, Victoria, and Lita in a Triple Threat Match to determine Stratus' #1 Contender at Backlash. Stratus is in disbelief but the crowd taunts her for it.
We see Batista and Chris Benoit walking in the backstage hallway. As coming up next, Batista and Chris Benoit take on Triple H and Ric Flair.
---Commercial Break---
We see a video promo hyping WWE Backlash which takes place on May 1st, 2005.
World Heavyweight Champion Batista and Chris Benoit def. Triple H and Ric Flair 10:24 This was a good main event to end RAW tonight. Batista and Flair kicked off things with Ric Flair slapping Batista only for Batista to fire back with some lefts and rights and a hard clothesline. Benoit came in and hit some shoulder thrusts in the corner and whips Flair to another turnbuckle where HHH makes the blind tag and then they work over him. Late in the match, Triple H goes for the Pedigree but Benoit captures a second wind and hits HHH with five German Suplexes. Batista made the tag and hit a double clothesline and set up for a Spinebuster on HHH. Flair got tackled by Benoit before stopping it. Batista then nailed the Batista Bomb and scored the win.
Batista celebrated his victory alongside Chris Benoit before all of a sudden, HHH nails Batista in the back of the head as they continue to brawl. Flair gives Benoit a low blow and nails him with the WHC. Flair locks in a Figure-Four Leg Lock as Triple H hits the Pedigree as they stand tall as RAW goes off air.

WWE RAW: Monday 4th April 2005...Good promo to kick off with the new World Heavyweight Champion in the ring, Batista being interrupted in his celebration speech by Triple H and Ric Flair. Chris Benoit to the rescue obviously means another main event ride for Benoit, doesn't matter to me, I'd love Benoit to face Flair at Backlash. Edge beating Rhyno is a decent opener, tiny note though; it wasn't called 'Mr Money in the Bank' until Rob Van Dam won it at WrestleMania 22; good start for Edge, but Christian's involvement was random and sort of unneeded, as well as Kane's random assault in throwing Christian off the stage. Decent tag team win for Chris Jericho and Shelton Benjamin against Tyson Tomko and Gene Snitsky but hoping it isn't long lasting; should have spread this match from Edge/Rhyno: both were used to put over Money in the Bank match contestants, too much of that in this part of the show for me. Decent promo from Randy Orton; he wasn't that good as a face but not fond of his sudden heel turn to this day on The Undertaker and Stacy Keibler. Great first-hour main event for Shawn Michaels to beat Randy Orton: definitely main event worthy in my mind. Please do not go for an obvious reign of the World Tag Team Championships for Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari, please. I love them but they don't need those belts. They need to reach higher, as much good as William Regal and Tajiri are. Trish Stratus and Victoria beating Christy Hemme and Lita is fine, but I can't recall Lita having been fit to compete again yet. Good main event with Batista and Chris Benoit most obviously beating Ric Flair and Triple H; liked the aftermath attack, and it was a good show overall; amazing start to what should be a long lasting diary.

WWE Thursday Night SmackDown l April 7th, 2005 l San Diego, CA A promo hypes what happened at WrestleMania and John Cena is indeed the new WWE Champion via defeating John Bradshaw Layfield in an 11 minute-war.
Tazz and Michael Cole welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown after the fireworks erupting. They hype that we have a new WWE Champion in John Cena as we head to the arena.
Kurt Angle makes his way out to the ring to some typical "You Suck!" chants before taking the microphone. Kurt Angle says that he most certainly does not suck because he beat everyone's hero, Shawn Michaels last Sunday on the biggest stage of them all. So he thinks this makes him the new Mr. WrestleMania. Kurt Angle says that on RAW, Michaels said that this wasn't over. Angle says that he's on to bigger and better things then making Michaels tap to the Ankle Lock. Angle says that as we may have all seen at WrestleMania, we have a new WWE Champion in John Cena. But as what usually happens, Kurt Angle has put him on notice and will take his WWE Championship. Teddy Long comes to the ring and says that John Cena can address that in his championship celebration tonight but as of now, Angle has been challenged, and he has a match up next, with Heidenreich! Angle is in total anger but none the less will fight, next.
---Commercial Break---
Kurt Angle def. Heidenreich 4:51 Decent matchup here tonight to kick off SmackDown. Angle came out ducking a clothesline and hitting three German Suplexes. Angle then set up for an early Angle Slam but Heidenreich elbowed out and hit a sidewalk slam and two big boots. Heidenreich set up for a shoulderbreaker but Angle rakes his eyes and hits a back suplex before nailing the Ankle Lock for the victory.
Kurt Angle refuses to let go of this Ankle Lock and two referees are trying to force him off. Angle turns around and shoves the referees off and turns into a Sweet Chin Music. Michaels comes from the crowd and now, is standing tall over Angle taunting this isn't over.
Backstage, we see JBL in a foul mood. JBL is asking where Teddy Long is to Orlando Jordan. Jordan replies saying he doesn't know. JBL tells Jordan he has a plan. They walk off as SmackDown heads to commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
A promotion video shows what happened at WrestleMania involving the Randy Orton/Undertaker match. It shows Undertaker put Orton away in a great match via Tombstone.
Cruiserweight Champion Paul London and Billy Kidman def. Chavo Guerrero and Spike Dudley 5:39 A solid match to showcase the fast-paced cruiserweights here. Guerrero and Dudley worked over the champion, London for about two minutes before Paul London hit a springboard moonsault on Guerrero and Dudley before hitting a neckbreaker and then tagging in Kidman. London splashes Dudley on the outside a Shooting Star Press for the victory.
London and Kidman celebrated the victory. Kidman handed London the Cruiserweight Title a bit suspiciously. Kidman motions for the title as Guerrero and Dudley head up the ramp.
Teddy Long is backstage and JBL and Orlando Jordan burst through the door. JBL tells Teddy Long to vacate the WWE Championship off John Cena. Long says that Cena won it fair and square so he is the champion. Jordan tells him again unless he wants this the hard way. Teddy Long jumps up and says that Jordan will have it the hard way because tonight, he's going to face The Undertaker. Jordan is in absolute shock. JBL pulls him away as we head to commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
We see a graphic hyping our main event just 5 minutes ago with The Undertaker taking on United States Champion Orlando Jordan.
WWE Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero def. The Bashams (Non Title) 7:23 This was a pretty good matchup here tonight. Mysterio and Danny kicked things off with Mysterio with Mysterio hitting a flurry before bouncing the ropes into a flapjack. They worked over him before Eddie came in ducking a clothesline and hitting a hurricanrana making Danny charge into Doug before hitting a back suplex and a Frog Splash for the victory.
Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio celebrated holding their WWE Tag Team Championships high before two guys come out in black pants and gold designs with fur on their bottom of their pants. They attack Guerrero and Mysterio from behind and then intruducing themselves as Johnny Nitro, Joey Mercury, and Melina, also known as MNM. They hold the WWE Tag Team Championships high as we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
We see a graphic hyping our WWE Championship Celebration with John Cena and Undertaker/Jordan.
Big Show and Dudley Boyz def. Carlito, Matt Morgan, and Rene Dupree 5:01 This match was basically to hype the Big Show/Carlito & Morgan feud. This match was relatively back and forth matchup which ended with Show giving Dupree a Showstopper for the six-man-tag victory here tonight.
Backstage, we see Jordan stressing that they have to face Undertaker. We see WWE Champion John Cena backstage laughing at Jordan. Jordan tells Cena that he would be laughing when JBL takes his gold back. Cena says that Jordan must have already been thrown on his head if he thinks that, but he's looking forward to seeing it happen again. Cena does the You Can't See Me taunt as Jordan looks on angrily.
---Commercial Break---
We come back seeing a RAW Rebound of Batista and Chris Benoit beating Triple H and Ric Flair in the main-event, and post match attack.
Undertaker def. United States Champion Orlando Jordan via DQ (Non Title) 8:48 Great main event here tonight. Undertaker dominated the early goings with some vicious lefts and rights and working over the arm. Jordan pulled him down with a hard powerslam and some rest holds. Undertaker managed to club away and grab Jordan for the Chokeslam but Jordan nailed the Black Out for the two count! Jordan set up for another but Undertaker blocked and nailed a Last Ride! Orton comes from behind and attacks Undertaker.
Orton grabs a chair and drills Undertaker in the face and how he's bloodied! Orton and Jordan attack him and stand tall over him as we show backstage.
We head backstage to see John Cena with the Undisputed WWE Champion over his shoulders as coming up next, the WWE Championship Celebration.
---Commercial Break---
We see a promotion hyping John Cena winning the WWE Championship and then going on to hype WWE Judgment Day on May 20th, 2005.
"My Time is Now" John Cena comes out to a fantastic ovation. Maybe loudest we've heard in awhile. John Cena comes out and says that it's been a long road but a good one. John Cena says he's done what some of the greatest stars on SmackDown couldn't do. And that's beat JBL. Cena said it took him a while to win it but now, we can all say, THE CHAMP IS HERE! Cena says JBL thinks he's a low life thug because he talks differently, dresses in blue jeans and shirts and sneakers. Cena says it's not what how you dress that makes you a star or how to talk. It's what you do, how you do it, and how long you can in future. Cena says that he's going to prove to critics he's no paper champ because every champion has a different way of handling. Eddie was the sneaky kind, JBL was the jackass kind, and he's the kind that won't back down and will keep the title for a long, long time. JBL says that his win was nothing but a fluke so Cena goes to ask the fans if it was a fluke and five right off the bat say NO! *Grown up people* JBL says he could care less about what these fans think because they are not wrestling gods they are wrestling, frauds. Cena says he doesn't appreciate the fans being insulted by this punk, JBL. JBL and Cena staredown before Cena hits some punches and clotheslines him over the ropes. Cena following him with lefts and rights. Cena goes to hit an F-U and hits it through the announcement table. Cena stands on the tall standing announcement table raising his WWE Championship high and proud as SmackDown goes off air.

Monday Night RAW April 11th, 2005 Moline, IL
We kick off the show with a promo showing Batista and Chris Benoit beat Ric Flair and Triple H and then Triple and Flair attacking them after the match.
After the pyrotechnics, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to RAW. They hype tonight's show featuring Christian vs. Kane as Christian wants revenge from being chokeslammed off the stage. As well as Ric Flair vs. Batista.
"Whatever" hits and Chris Benoit comes out a massive ovation. Benoit is sporting a new t-shirt and takes a microphone. Benoit says that last week, one of his closest friends, Ric Flair attacked him after the match. Benoit says that if it's one thing he hates, it's someone that hates on someone after they've won the match so he's challenging Ric Flair to some down here and face him like a man. Ric Flair comes down to the ring and says that Chris Benoit had better leave this ring before he makes him tap out the way he was last week after the match. Benoit says he didn't want it to have to be this way but revenge is on his mind right now so he challenges Ric Flair to a match at Backlash. Flair says that he accepts and says that he wants to make Benoit tapout so he wants this to be a Submission Match. Benoit accepts as Flair leaves the ring as Benoit prepares for his upcoming match.
---Commercial Break---
A promotion video hypes WWE Backlash which airs May 1st, 2005.
Chris Benoit def. Gene Snitsky 6:27 Strong start to RAW. Snitsky can usually pick apart his opponent but with Snitsky being the warrior he is, Chris Benoit took it right to Snitsky. Benoit was worked over for the first like two minutes of the match but rallied back hitting three German suplexes and a crossbody only to be caught in mid-air. Snitsky went for a swinging side slam but Benoit in mid-air pulled Snitsky's arm and forces Snitsky to tap to the Crippler Crossface.
Chris Benoit stares down Ric Flair who is on the ramp raising his arms high. Ric Flair yells at him on the ramp as we head backstage.
Backstage, we see Todd Grisham interviewing Christian. Grisham asks him if he's sure he wants Kane tonight. Christian says that Kane chokeslammed him off the stage and that he got out of the hospital on Saturday, he wants to get revenge for his brother and even more for himself.
---Commercial Break---
We see the SmackDown LoDown hyping Cena's championship celebration ending in Cena giving JBL an F-U through the announcement table.
Backstage, we see Batista pulling his elbow pads up. Muhammad Hassan walks in the room. Hassan says that the world knows that Hassan is the next World Heavyweight Champion but since Batista is busy with Flair, he'd better consider this a warning tonight because the first chance he gets to end Batista's reign, he will do so without breaking a sweat. Batista tells him he's on. Hassan hits Batista's World Heavyweight Title on his shoulder and walks away.
Women's Champion Trish Stratus def. Victoria 3:30 This was a heel vs. heel match but the fans were on Victoria's side tonight. Trish had momentum without the crowd and it showed as he threw Victoria into the turnubuckle and rolled her up with her feet on the ropes to pick up the victory.
Trish Stratus continues her assault on Victoria. Eventually, Lita raced down the ramp and nailed her with the DDT. Lita then gave Victoria a Lita-o-Rana over the ropes and held the Women's Championship high for the world to see.
We see Chris Jericho walking down a corridor seeing Christian sporting a black eye. Jericho says that this is Christian's punishment for being a jackass and he can't wait to see Kane kick his ass all over the ring tonight. Christian snaps and Tyson Tomko comes from behind attacking Jericho from behind. Christian says that Jericho is going to get his teeth kicked in first. Christian struts down the hallway as coming up next, we are having our first-hour main event which is Christian attempting to get some revenge when he takes on "Big Red Monster" Kane, next!
---Commercial Break---
Kane def. Christian w/Tyson Tomko via DQ 7:12 This was a good first-hour main event. Kane smiled sadistically before nailing Christian with some of his killer uppercuts. Kane whipped him off the ropes but Tomko hopped on and jumped off which allowed Christian to hit a springboard dropkick on Kane. Christian locked in an armbar as well as giving him some knees as he worked on Kane for two minutes or so. Christian set to the top for the flying elbow but Kane sidestepped and hit the sidewalk slam and went to the top. Kane dove to the outside on Tyson Tomko and Christian! Kane brought Christian in and turned around into a shot with the MITB case from Edge!
Edge, Christian, and Tomko are destroying Kane with some stomps. Christian and Edge go get a table as Kane sits up. Kane sits up and nails Tomko with a Chokeslam and walks to the outside to bring Edge in. But as he's rolling in, Christian hits a con-chair-to! Christian gets to nail his Killswitch, Edge nailing his Spear, and Tomko nailing a Chokeslam Backbreaker! They stand tall over Kane as we head to commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
We come back to see the brutal attack before hyping the Batista/HHH, Kane/Edge, Women's Title/Benoit/Flair matches as we head to our next match.
Muhammad Hassan and Daivari def. Shelton Benjamin 4:20 Chris Jericho was attacked by Christian and Tyson Tomko before the match started so he couldn't make it. Benjamin was rolling in the early goings of this match but the numbers game caught up and eventually, Hassan hit a jumping reverse leg sweep for the victory.
Hassan and Daivari taunted their victory holding the Intercontinental Championship before Regal and Tajiri came out as Hassan and Daivari taunt on the ramp.
We see a graphic hyping our main event coming up next which is World Heavyweight Champion Batista taking on Ric Flair! Two former Evolution mates collide in our main event live on Monday Night RAW.
---Commercial Break---
A promo hypes this week's Friday Night SmackDown which promotes this week's champion vs. champion match with John Cena having his first match as WWE Championship against the man that cheated to beat him for the title, Orlando Jordan. And, The Undertaker wants revenge on Orton. All this and more on SmackDown.
World Heavyweight Champion Batista def. Ric Flair via countout 12:52 Great main here tonight on RAW. Flair gave Batista some chops that Batista staggered to. Ric whipped him to the turnbuckle only for it to reversed. Batista hit some shoulder thrusts and a swinging side slam and went to the top for a diving shoulder block. Batista stalked Flair to rolled to the outside only to be rolled back in. Flair booted Batista in the head on the apron and hit a rope-hung neckbreaker and a chinlock and armbar keeping "The Animal" grounded. Batista rallied back eventually nailing a Spinebuster and shaking the ropes for the Batista Bomb but Ric Flair rolled out thus letting the referee count to a long ten count giving World Heavyweight Champion Batista the victory on RAW!
Batista is too focused on Ric Flair that Triple H comes from behind attacking Batista. Then, Batista reverses a Pedigree into a hard Batista Bomb! Batista goes to the top rope and taunts Ric Flair on the ramp holding his World Heavyweight Championship as RAW goes off air.

-An Angle/Cena feud for the belt could be great stuff -Angle winning was rather obvious -London and Kidman winning is good and a feud between them over the Cruiserweight Title would peak my interest in the belt -MNM vs. Eddie & Rey could be a great feud, although I wish they got a better introduction. This felt rather rushed. Regardless, I'm looking forward to more -Six man tag was filler -Orton continuing the feud with Undertaker is great, and I hope Orton comes off looking like gold in this rivalry -I thought Angle was going to address Cena's celebration. Also, the writing in the final segment seemed rushed and wasn't very good. The point that was put across was good though
Good first episode of Smackdown, I like a lot of the stuff that's going down so far

WWE Thursday Night SmackDown l April 14th, 2005 l Chicago, IL A promo hypes what happened last week in John Cena's WWE Championship Celebration, ending in John Cena nailing JBL with an F-U through the announce table.
Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to Thursday Night SmackDown. They hype our double main event which is WWE Champion John Cena taking on United States Champion Orlando Jordan as well as The Undertaker and Booker T teaming up to take on JBL and Kurt Angle.
John Bradshaw Layfield made his way out to the ring alongside US Champion Orlando Jordan to some huge heat. JBL reminds us of last week of how John Cena gave him an F-U through the announce table. He says that he can't believe that these fans give that low-life thug a standing ovation each and every time he goes down the ramp. JBL says that he has a rematch clause. He is cut off by "My Time is Now." JBL is already yelling at Cena. Cena says that he was expecting a thank you for proving JBL's point to another standing ovation in the windy city tonight. Cena says that it may be cold, but JBL's breath is hot enough to warm us. Cena goes on to say that he's been waiting for JBL to mention that rematch because this gives him another chance to beat the living hell out of JBL one more time. JBL says that he doesn't wanna just pin or submit Cena, he wants to show him that the thugs like Cena get jumped too. So he challenges Cena to a Street Fight! Cena says that JBL is on, but this time, he's going to end his career. JBL gives him a preview but Cena lifts JBL to his shoulders. Jordan drills him in the back of the head. JBL hits the Clothesline From Hell as they stand tall over him to head us to commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
We come back to see a clip of last week with Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero celebrating only for the new team, MNM, Joey Mercury, Johnny Nitro, and Melina to attack them.
MNM def. Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty 3:52 Decent start to SmackDown. This match was really to build the MNM team. Nitro hit a missile dropkick, flying chuck, swinging neckbreaker, split-legged moonsault, and double back suplex. Mercury hit the double back suplex, DDT, flying elbow lariat, and they finished it with their double tag finisher, Snapshot for the victory.
Mercury and Nitro celebrate their victory with Melina giving a loud scream. Nitro and Mercury continue to attack before Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero race down with Rey hitting a double 619 and Eddie hitting a Frog Splash to both Mercury and Nitro. Mysterio and Guerrero celebrate their victory as we head to an interview.
Backstage, Josh Matthews asks Kurt Angle how he feels about HBK visiting SmackDown last week and superkicking Angle. Angle says that his home was invaded and that Michaels was trepassing. Angle says that those who trespass will have to be punished. And he's going to punish HBK real good with a move he likes to call, Ankle Lock. We see a graphic hyping our main events as we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
We see a clip of last week when Big Show and The Dudley Boys defeated Carlito, Matt Morgan, and Rene Dupree.
Carlito w/ Matt Morgan def. Bubba Ray Dudley w/D'Von Dudley 6:06 Solid matchup here tonight. Carlito came at Dudley with some knees to the gut but Dudley came back on the punches and hit an atomic drop, sideslam, and a double axe handle. Bubba Ray had him in the corner but Carlito dodged and hit a neckbreaker. Carlito choked him on the ropes and Carlito was pushed off. Morgan nailed Bubba with the brass knuckles and D'Von came around and tackled Morgan to the ground. But it was too late, as Carlito nailed the Cool Shot and picked up the victory.
Carlito celebrated his victory. Big Show made his way down the ramp and got in the ring as Carlito and Matt Morgan, happy with their work, headed up the ramp as we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
We see a promo hyping Monday Night RAW involving Chris Jericho missing his match via attack from Christian. So on RAW, we are going to see Jericho and Kane taking on Shelton Benjamin and Christian. As well as Muhammad Hassan having his first shot at Batista with a special guest referee, Triple H! All that and much more on Monday Night RAW.
We come back to see Tazz and Cole hyping our WWE Championship Match for Judgment Day that's been confirmed. And now, it's time for our massive tag team match, Undertaker and Booker T taking on Kurt Angle and "Wrestling God" JBL.
Undertaker and Booker T def. Kurt Angle and JBL 11:28 As you would expect, these four great superstars put on a great first-hour main event. Undertaker and JBL kicked off things with Undertaker going for his soup bones early. JBL caught a breather which gave him the advantage. Booker came in on a roll but he ran into a big boot from JBL which allowed Angle and JBL to work over him. Eventually, Undertaker made the tag and nailed the Chokeslam. Angle came running at him but Booker hit him with a Cresent Kick! Undertaker took the time to nail the Last Ride for the victory.
Undertaker and Booker T celebrated their victory as JBL and Kurt Angle were on the ramp arguing. We head backstage.
Josh Matthews' interview with Heidenreich never gets started as United States Champion Orlando Jordan interrupts and says that his situation is more important considering he has a match on the card unlike Heidenreich. Heidenreich says that Jordan had better get out of his face before he takes that United States Championship off of him and he'll go crying back to JBL. Orlando Jordan tells Heidenreich that he's actually won matches this year so that makes him better than Heidenreich. Heidenreich walks off.
---Commercial Break---
A promotion video hypes WWE Judgment Day's Street Fight for the WWE Championship.
Chavo Guerrero def. Cruiserweight Champion Paul London 8:22 This was a great Cruiserweight matchup here tonight. Guerrero used his expirience advantage to take advantage of the highflying mistakes that London made. Guerrero carried the majority of this match. London would rally a comeback of some forearm shots, northern lights suplex, missile dropkick, and a running DDT and went to the top for the 450 Splash but Guerrero kicked the ropes and London fell crotch first. Guerrero nailed a top rope hip toss and a Frog Splash for the victory.
Chavo Guerrero celebrated his victory and stood tall over Paul London holding the Cruiserweight Championship over him as we head to a graphic promoting the champion vs. champion main event tonight.
---Commercial Break---
Randy Orton def. Billy Kidman 4:42 These two actually put on a pretty good bout here tonight. Orton having the weight advantage, used his power to hit some major knees in the corner and stomps. Orton took advantage hitting the scoop powerslam, DDT, and the crossbody from the top. Kidman came back though hitting a top rope hurricanrana, missile dropkick, and a running facebuster. Kidman dove off the top but in mid-air, Orton nailed the picture-perfect RKO for the victory.
Randy Orton celebrates his victory and takes a microphone. Orton says that it's been 11 days since Undertaker and Orton had their war. And it's a war that's far from over. Orton says that he's ripped through the roster for a minute and Undertaker has been too focused on JBL and Angle and all that stuff. He claims it's because the deadman is afraid. Orton says that though Undertaker won, he must've knew it wasn't over. Orton challenges Undertaker at his own brand exclusive PPV, Judgment Day. And he's expecting his answer next week, on Thursday Night SmackDown. The fans and commentators put over how they'd love to see a rematch between Undertaker and Randy Orton as we head to commercial, the final, before our champion vs. champion main event which is next.
---Commercial Break---
We come back to see a recap of what just happened involving Randy Orton challenging The Undertaker at Taker's show's brand exclusive PPV, Judgment Day, on May 22nd, 2005. So next week, Undertaker's reply to the challenge will be heard!
WWE Champion John Cena def. United States Champion Orlando Jordan 10:23 This was a pretty good main event with two future stars getting 10 minutes to shine in the main event. Jordan held an advantage in the early goings from the attack but you could tell Cena was not happy with it so he adjusted that real quick. Cena made a rally back hitting a shoulder block, clothesline, back suplex bomb, 5 knuckle shuffle, and he set up for the F-U as JBL walked down the ramp looking very innocent. Cena got distracted which allowed Jordan to hit the Black Out for the close near fall. Jordan set up for another but Cena threw Jordan forward and he collided with JBL. This allowed Cena to turn Jordan around and nail him with his finisher, F-U for the victory.
The referee hands Cena the WWE Championship belt as Cena stands tall in the ring. JBL and Jordan surround Cena about to attack. But to everyone's surprise, Heidenreich comes down and gives Jordan some lefts and rights up the ramp as Cena and JBL battle in the ring. Cena clotheslines him over the ropes and SmackDown comes to the close with Cena and JBL engaging in a staredown.

Monday Night RAW April 18th, 2005 New York, NY
We kick off the show with a promo showing last week's Batista/Ric Flair. It also shows Batista giving Triple H a Batista Bomb and standing tall to end RAW.
Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to Monday Night RAW in the corner of the stage. They hype our Jericho/Kane vs. Benjamin/Edge main event. We are also going to see Batista/Orton with Triple H as Special Guest Referee.
"The Game" hits and Triple H comes out alone tonight to kick off RAW. Triple H says that he's looking forward to May 1st, 2005. There's alot of things he wants to prove. One is that Batista's title win was a fluke, two he not only wants to beat Batista, he wants to make sure that these fans never see "The Animal" again. Triple H goes on to say that tonight, he could very well make that happen because tonight, he's the Special Guest Referee for Batista/Randy Orton. "Burn in My Light" hits and Randy Orton comes to the ring saying that he knows Triple H has not gotten over his loss against Batista at WrestleMania and he can anticipate Triple H's revenge but he'd just like to let Triple H know, they can be on the same page because he doesn't like Triple H either. Just a little something to think about. Randy Orton leaves as Triple H looks on confused at the situation.
---Commercial Break---
We see a recap of what just happened and a preview of our main event of Randy Orton taking on Batista with HHH as Special Guest Referee.
Tyson Tomko def. World Tag Team Champion Tajiri w/William Regal 5:10 Decent start to Monday Night RAW. Despite Tomko not having anyone in his corner tonight, he managed to pick up a hard victory. But he won't forget the teeth he lost in this match. Tajiri was on fire throughout just nailing Tomko with hard kicks everywhere. But after a break, Tomko through Tajiri into the turnbuckle and nailed a Chainsaw Kick for the win.
Tyson Tomko celebrated his victory to the fans dismay. Tyson left up the ramp as Regal checked on his partner. It was confirmed Christian and Tyson Tomko would take on William Regal and Tajiri for the World Tag Team Championships at Backlash.
Backstage, we see Todd Grisham asking Chris Jericho how he feels about first being attacked by Christian, then blamed and attacked by Shelton Benjamin. Jericho says that he still has a black eye from the assault (camera zooms in on it). But tonight, is sweet revenge on both of them. With a partner who also loves revenge. Kane is shown in the background as the two of them nod heads. We see Shawn Michaels backstage. He's going to come to the ring next.
---Commercial Break---
"Sexy Boy" blasts through the speakers and Shawn Michaels comes out sporting a new t-shirt. He says that sadly, his revenge on Kurt Angle cannot happen just yet plainly because Kurt Angle is booked to have a match at Judgment Day with Booker T. Michaels says that he'd just like to let the fans know, that he hasn't forgotten. Muhammad Hassan makes his way to the ring alongside Daivari. Hassan says that last week, he addressed Batista involving a shot at him. But o bviously, Batista didn't take him seriously. But what better way to make the champ take him seriously than by beating a four-time World Champion. HBK says that Hassan's not Angle, but this'll be a nice little message to Angle when he's done with Hassan at Backlash. Michaels drills Hassan with the Sweet Chin Music and then Daivari comes tackling HBK down and drilling lefts and rights to him. Daivari gets him in the corner and runs at him right into a Sweet Chin Music. Michaels stands tall over Hassan and Daivari with the crowd going nuts!
We see a graphic hyping our main event tonight between Batista/Orton. But coming up next, Jericho and Kane get their respective possible vengeance as they take on Shelton Benjamin and Christian.
---Commercial Break---
We see a graphic promoting this week's Thursday Night SmackDown. Johnny Nitro goes one-on-one with WWE Tag Team Champion Eddie Guerrero and, WWE Champion John Cena takes on Kurt Angle after Angle secretly challenged him two weeks ago. And, Undertaker will address the situation between he and Randy Orton. It all unfolds this week, on Thursday Night SmackDown.
Kane and Chris Jericho def. Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin and Christian 9:21 Kane kicked things off with the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin in a great battle. Kane would eventually nail a tilt-a-whirl sideslam and kept on looking at Edge who was on commentary. They would eventually work on Jericho before Kane came in hot once again. Kane took Christian backstage in pursuit and Edge was out from the big boot on the outside. Benjamin was distracted by this so Jericho rolled him up for the victory.
Kane came back down to get Edge now. Chris Jericho looked on and turned around to Shelton Benjamin who nailed Chris Jericho with a T-Bone Suplex. Eric Bischoff comes out saying that he can bet Benjamin and Jericho know why he's out here. Bischoff says that Jericho seems to have Benjamin's number, and Backlash is 2 weeks away, and Benjamin needs a #1 Contender for the IC Championship. Therefore at Backlash, Jericho takes on Benjamin for the Intercontinental Championship. Benjamin is extremely pissed off while Jericho is laid out
---Commercial Break---
Ric Flair def. Rhyno 5:54 A decent warm-up matchup for Ric Flair here tonight. Rhyno gave Flair a hard battle though. Flair didn't get any offense in until the 2 minute mark with a rake to the eyes and then a suplex. Ric Flair hits a double axe handle. Flair went for his finisher but Rhyno kicked him back and Flair ran into a belly-to-belly slam. Rhyno went for the Gore but Flair dodged and rolled Rhyno up with feet on the ropes for the victory.
Ric Flair celebrated the victory and attempted to lock in the Figure-Four Leg Lock. Chris Benoit raced down the rampto make the save. Ric Flair headed up the ramp in anger.
We see a graphic hyping our main event, Batista and Randy Orton battle with Triple H as the Special Guest Referee.
---Commercial Break---
A promo hypes WWE Backlash. It mainly hypes the World Heavyweight Championship Match between "The Animal" Batista, and "The Game" Triple H. Backlash is going to be on May 1st, 2005.
We see a graphic showing the Women's Championship between Trish Stratus, Lita, Christy Hemme, and Victoria.
Women's Champion Trish Stratus def. Lita 6:17 These two reckless divas never fail to put on an amazing matchup. They did a nice job not displaying anything major for the big women's title match in just 13 days. This match went back and forth, eventually ending in Stratus hitting a sunset flip pin for the victory.
Lita seemed to be a pretty good sport but Stratus didn't hesitate to gloat this victory at Lita. Stratus held the Women's Championship high on the ramp as we head to backstage.
We see a preview of next week on RAW. Kane will go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin in non title action. But coming up next, World Heavyweight Champion Batista goes-on-one-one with Randy Orton. With the special guest referee, Batista's opponent at Backlash, Triple H. Three of four former Evolution mates in the ring tonight!
---Commercial Break---
Randy Orton def. World Heavyweight Champion Batista 12:41 Great main event here on RAW. Randy Orton fired right at Batista with storming lefts and rights but the champ fired back too. Batista eventually got some shoulder thrusts in the corner and some hard clotheslines. Batista followed it up with running powerslam and set up for a back suplex but Orton hit a splash in mid-air. Orton went to the top and hit the missile dropkick and then a rope-hung DDT. Orton nailed Batista with a crossbody and headlock backbreaker and went to the top but in mid-air, Batista nailed Orton with a spinebuster. Batista turned to Triple H who refused to count the pinfall. Batista gave HHH a hard Spear and lifted Orton for an RKO. The new referee came down to count the two. Orton went to work on Batista but he rallied back and hit a body drop from the second rope. Batista nailed a top rope shoulder block and almost won but HHH pulled the referee out and knocked him out. Batista ducked his head through the the second rope and grabbed HHH but HHH turned around and nailed him with the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Batista turns around into an RKO! Orton covers for the 1.2.3!
Randy Orton celebrates his hard fought victory in the main event on RAW. Triple H stands tall over Batista holding the World Heavyweight Championship high over him as Monday Night RAW goes off air.
