looks pretty cool, i'd have never thought that old TTL pre-realscan austin head (thats it, right?) would have worked for chono, but it actually looks quite good. the hair/stubble painting and sculpting is especially nice.
what era is the custom based on? i'm not really familiar with chono or NJPW

They all look really good, the only thing I'm not sold on is Misawa's torso, but that's a really small nit pick and I can see how some people would like it

These all look great. Hopefully u find time to finish them soon. I look forward to them. Is Chono's skin a custom? I think it's great too.

i'm loving the steen/generico customs. great head choices. they all look great actually, i'd probably just make misawa's hair a bit shorter.

Thank you to everyone for the comments.
Chono does indeed have a modded early TTL Austin head. It's good to know that hideous thing can work for something these things.
As Assassin pointed out, the head is simply a RA Steiner.
Misawa is a modded TTL Taker head. I added some shading in there to make the creases in the face really stand out and make it look more like him.

It looks a bit brighter in person, but I love how it turned out. I hope to have this page updated tomorrow or Thursday with some of the figures in that group shot finished. That way I can post some more WIP pics alongside it. |

Could you post some clearer shots of the Kenta custom? Looks awesome from what I can see. I chose to only do a quick group shot of those guys because they're far from done and have obvious errors. I felt that showing multiple shots of incomplete work would be pointless. Especially considering some people just look at pictures, ignore what's written about them being unfinished, and then comment about how sloppy such and such is. As work progresses on KENTA I will show an updated closer shot of him and other WIP figures when I post things that are actually completed. Thank you for the compliment though. |
