I think they should have left Darren Young in the Nexus. I get goosebumps watching pre-Summerslam videos of the Nexus, because they looked unstoppable. Especially their titantron video. Now just the five of them it doesn't look as good.

It definitely is lose-lose for Nexus. But even if they lose I don't see them sticking to their word and disbanding. They need to at least stay together for Super Cena to face them in the Elimination Chamber next year.

... It's basically a T-shirt, an armband and a hat... They have 2 t shirts actually, 3 if you count the women's, plus a pendant. Again, it's still more merchandise than the average superstar usually gets. Of course because 5 superstars get more merchandise than the average 1 superstar.

Am I the only one expecting cena too lay down? I could see a Cena heel working great. I mean he could have feuds with triple H, Randy Orton, they could push Jomo. Maybe even have him kick wade out and have Cena vs. Wade at the Royal Rumble.

Maybe even have him kick wade out and have Cena vs. Wade at the Royal Rumble. The thing is, if there EVER was a time to plausibly turn Cena heel, based solely on storyline, this would be it. Randy Orton is the most over baby face in the company right now. It's incredibly apparent that the crowd is more into him than Cena, so there would be no loss in that respect. At the same time, Cena is still pulling in more merchandise than anyone else, so turning him heel would be a a disaster in terms of merchandise revenue. The variable, though, is what it could do to the quality of product. It would be so fresh and exciting that perhaps it might boost the morale of the viewing audience and bring in some new positive attention. At the end of the day, it's a huge risk that could end up falling flat on it's face and costing WWE a lost of money, so it's not something they're likely to do.

I never liked the Nexus so I wouldn't mind if they ended them. Haven't really seen much good out of any of them in-ring wise anyway..

If they are to disband I want this to happen to each member Wade Barett- Stays big heel on RAW, fueding with Cena and maybe Orton for the title. Justin Gabriel- Turn face and team with Evan Bourne, go for the tag titles. Michael Tarver- Move over to Smackdown, get something going for him. Heath Slater- Same as Michael Tarver David Otunga- Release Skip Sheffield- Keep around untill he is healthy again, and have team with Ezekiel and become a monster tag team.

If they moved Slater to SD then he could possibly feud with Christian.

Hopefully Nexus wins and Cena reluctantly joins them only to later turn on the fans and go full heel with the group. Heel Cena could change the whole landscape in WWE. ' Off topic bu i love your sig lol

The thing is, if Cena was to fully turn heel with the Nexus, the Nexus Merchandise Sales would soar through the roof. With Cena, arguably this Decades biggest Superstar, the face of the WWE, to turn heel and join Nexus, would be the equivilant of a modern day nWo. It could play out for years, see new Members join and members go, it could help to get new Members over as Heels instantly. But, to me, if there was ever a time to do the Cena Heel turn, it would have to be at a Wrestlemania, without doubt. I think they will have the Nexus win just so that it keeps Cena out of the title picture for a few more months, and gives them something else to play around with. It doesn't mean Cena has to be a Heel from the start, it could just make good television to see Barrett order Cena about and put him in Matches with other Faces and things, much to his displeasure. After that, they will either have the choice to have Cena finally overcome Barrett and leave the Nexus, or turn Heel and join them.

Nexus has to break up before too long to be fair. Eventually 7 men working together are gonna want to get shot of one another.
Plus, Barrett and Gabriel are the only ones who have anything about them IMO, Sheffield probably wouldn't make it on his own, and Tarver is okay on the mic but that's about it.
Slater and Otunga are really bad.

I don't get the Heath hate, other than perhaps 'cause he's ginger? lol.
Gabriel aside, he's probably Nexus' second-best worker. Barrett is nothing special in the ring at all, and I'm a fan. I love him as a character and on the mic, but he's not that great in-ring. Not a patch on Gabriel or Slater, who are IMO the two strongest when it comes to the matches.

Slater is okay in the ring, but him and Otunga don't fit in with the Nexus to me. At least Barrett, Gabriel, Sheffield and Tarver have something that makes them look a threat; Barrett has the self-confidence and the ability to convince others that Nexus are a threat, Gabriel has the deadly finishing move that everyone wants to escape at any cost, Sheffield is the monster and the brute force of the team, while Tarver just looks like a bad dude even though he hasn't shown it. Slater and Otunga lack something to make people not wanna mess with em.

Going back to the merchandise. Did anyone notice that Nexus has a shirt with all 5 current members on it? That, to me, doesn't seem like Nexus is ending.
And yes, the merchandise is about the same for any one superstar; however, WWE Wrestler(s) do not get merchandise made unless they draw money and the WWE would like to milk it. Hence, a new shirt and a continuous strong storyline pitting 5 new rookies against the Superman of the WWe in what is looking to be one of the best feuds that the WWE Creative has produced in a long time.
Just what I think.
