I hope he don't eventually just ruin the whole theme Family Guy has had since it started.. Like South Park, some people hate it now because they got rid of Chef.. Lol. I think getting rid of characters kinda ruins it, yet helps it.

I wasn't expecting it to be cannon, interesting. Not gonna miss any of the characters except Diane, though.
I loved it, tbh. One of my favorite movies is Clue, so I really enjoyed the episode. I didn't laugh much, because it wasn't all about the jokes. Which, I'm fine with.

So they're trying to make us miss the cutaways right? that's all I got from the last two episodes... Well, IMO, the first one was to prove they didnt need cutaways, and last night was because the story didnt really call for many cutaways. My thoughts on last nights episode: My god, they whored out the CGI. I mean that in a good and bad way. Good, because I really felt like I was watching a serious movie, bad because it took up alot of time. Hopefully they dont spend another 5 minutes on a car ride just because they can cgi it now. I dont know if I agree with killing off Diane, Murial, and James Woods, but at the same time it wont change much for me if they stay gone. The overall story of the episode was amazing. I even came up with a little list of people who i thought it was (chris & comic book guy). I was not expecting the episode to be good at all, but I was wronggg.

I liked that it was different, and they used the CGI to good effect, but I didn't laugh once, and when I watch Family Guy I watch it to laugh, so I guess I was a bit disappointed.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the CGI.

I was worried they were going to kill of Herbert because they hadn't been using him much and he was in this episode alot. Thankfully, it didn't happen. I really liked the episode.

Just saw the 'murder mystery' style episode, wasn't all that funny tbh but for some reason I do still keep watching. I would say the show's become pretty unwatchable recently, had that episode with Stewie and Brian in the bank vault not been one of my favourite eps of all time. Seriously, we need more of that conversational humour.
I'll try catch the season when I'm free but quality has definitely declined.

Yesterdays Family Guy sucked.
I hate those Serious episodes, with underlying messages.
And HD is not leaving a good impression on me. I dont like how serious the episodes look, if that makes sense?

Last night's Family Guy was weird. It had too much politics in it. My 12 year old watched it and he normally loves Family Guy but he thought it was really bad. He didn't know who most of the people in it were so he didn't really get any of the jokes.

A serious episode of Family Guy once in a while can be refreshing. But 2 straight to start off the season is kind of ridiculous.

He didn't know who most of the people in it were so he didn't really get any of the jokes. Which is why your 12 year old doesn't understand the jokes... the show isn't meant for him. That's like saying "my son didn't really get any of the plot of Lost." Again, not meant for that age group. - Triple S
