If he can prove that he can be entertaining, then I'll get behind his title run. I am behind the turn and the stable but him with the belt irks me.

I only really cared about the KO and world title match. Not surprised Jeff won but congrats to him. Tara became a 6x champ overall so congrats to her although like 2 of your KO title runs were pure crap and only boosted your number of runs.. Mickie will tie Trish in overall wins when she likely pins Tara in 1 to 4 months.. I thought Madison had it in the bag but apparently they want to continue the feud from late 2006-early 2007. I always wished Victoria would have won the belt then. Their matches should be good. My two favorite KO's in a feud should be interesting.

Why oh why did I ever expect Kurt Angle to win the World title tonight...
I mean it was only the logical conclusion of a storyline that has been building for about five months.
I'm glad I didn't order this PPV.

I'm glad I didn't order this PPV. its called a spin... you want it to be predictable? Yes, as a matter of fact, I do. When the conclusion makes sense, then it is the right progression for the story. Building something for 5 months to all of a sudden have this other thing happen is not good business. Not to mention that surprises for the sake of the surprise is dumb. Surprises in the 90s worked because they weren't overused. Hogan turning and the nWo worked because it was new and exciting. Recreating that now is not going to save TNA. They need to be thinking of the long term booking and storylines. And of course they didn't even mention that Kurt Angle said he would retire if he didn't win. I have a sneaking suspicion that the won't mention it either. I don't normally come on the TNA board trying to be negative. I really really want to like them, but they are not doing themselves any favors by constantly swerving everybody.

PPV of the year so far. Even though Angle didn't win, you gotta give them credit on the swerve. Cage match was brutal. RVD/Abyss had an old school ECW feel to it. Opening match was perfect. Gen Me put themselves on the map with tonight's performance. And I agree, I loved the simple entrance ramp too. Money well spent. And for the love of god, someone please make a gif of Velvet Sky's ring entrance asap. There was more camel toe in that match than an Egyptian zoo.

Except Angle is supposed to retire now that he didn't win the title. I'm all for him feuding with those guys (although my misgivings about Hogan's group are large), the past 5 months are nullified by one of the main components not being adhered to. Let's just say I'm not looking forward to how this storyline will pla out at this point. I'll still watch TNA from time to time if there's a match I'm interested in, but they did not hook me in for the time being.

I'm pretty sure Dixie will re-hire Kurt and convince him to stay.

i just finished watching BFG (meaning, yes, i do make my opinions reading results. although, i haven't commented on how the matches were, only storyline) and i'd like to say the entire card minus like OJ/Young vs. Ink Inc was great. a ing great night of wrestling. and the ending... well, i'll tell you, when i read jeff hardy turned and i read the way it happened, i was bummed. it didn't sound great. but it looked soooooo much better then it read. like, Hardy with his new music and the look in his eyes and stuff. it was cool. totally wish Hogan didn't turn, but i think its ing badass he faked like, spine surgery to do this. like, way to go Bischoff and Hogan finally finding a way to around with fans. really.
